A.J. Green vs. Josh Norman (Week 8) | Redskins vs. Bengals | NFL in London
Bengals Pro Bowl wide receiver A.J. Green suffered a hamstring injury minutes into Sunday"s game against the Bills and had to be taken off the field to the locker room on a cart.
The Bengals ruled Green out for the game, which made sense when you heard reports like this from the stadium:
The Bengals lost to the Bills 16-12 to fall to 3-6-1 on the year, and now the fear, at least according to Bengals.com writer Geoff Hobson, is that Green"s season could be over, though the team will know more after an MRI:
Green entered Sunday"s game with 66 receptions for 964 yards and four touchdowns. And according to Football Outsiders" metrics, he was the NFL"s No. 2 wide receiver behind only Julio Jones. Put another way: If he"s sidelined for any length of time, that"s a huge blow to an offense in desperate need of playmakers.
