Obama Tells Zaevion Dobson"s Heroic Story
Jetswide receiver Brandon Marshall, who doubles during the season as an analyst on Showtime"s "Inside the NFL," has received two Sports Emmy nominations.
His primary category isoutstanding sports personality (studio analyst). In short, it"s an award for the best studio analyst.
The other nominees are ESPN"s Jay Bilas (college basketball) and three MLB Network guys: Al Leiter, Harold Reynolds, and Bill Ripken.

The winner in Marshall"s category last year was Reynolds, who also won in 2014, and shared the award with Tom Verducci of TBS/MLB Network in 2013.
Marshall, who just finished his first season with the Jets, joined the "Inside the NFL" cast for the 2014 season, when he played in Chicago.
Marshall"s second Emmy nomination came forseven-minute, mini documentary segment he produced.
It aired on the CBS Super Bowl pregame show. (CBS owns Showtime.) The title of the segment: "A True Hero: The Zaevion Dobson Story." Dobson, a high school football player in Tennessee, was killed while shielding three girls from gunfire.
