No one likes to be caught in the middle of an argument which is even more the case when Sheldon and Leonard (Jim Parsons, Johnny Galecki) are the two people fighting, as in The Viewing Party Combustion. Neither of them lets anything go easily, and the other members of the group are wary of choosing a side in the battle. When Charlie Brown complains about the materialism he sees during the holidays, Lucy suggests he direct the Christmas pageant. He accepts, but it proves to be a frustrating struggle. When his attempt to restore the proper spirit with a forlorn little fir tree fails, he needs Linus help to learn the real meaning of Christmas. The animated classics memorable music score is by Vince Guaraldi.

In Dont Tell My Fiance/Dancing With the Chefs, a two-hour encore telecast, the remaining contestants are challenged to prepare their own interpretations of a Southern staple, with their dishes evaluated by chef Gordon Ramsay and surprise guest judge Chris Hastings, an executive chef. In the second hour, the teams prepare special menu items for the International Ballroom Invitational. VIP guests include actress Mircea Monroe, NBA player J.J. Redick and recording artist Blake Lewis.

Its Joel McHale (Community) vs. Millennials in this comedy, casting him as an outdoor-magazine journalist who has to bring his adventurous spirit inside when the publication goes digital. Christopher Mintz-Plasse (Superbad) plays one of the young staff members he tries to oversee. Famously droll British actor-comedian Stephen Fry plays the magazines founder, with Susannah Fielding as his daughter McHales ex-girlfriend and immediate boss.
8 p.m. on KWGN Terry Crews Saves Christmas
Night three of this four-night yuletide miniseries finds Terry and his ace team of party wizards trying to salvage a half-hearted party thrown by the Abrolat clan, who decorate by throwing a Santa pillow on the couch, and make their guests do the cooking at their Christmas potluck supper. Crews steps in to reinforce the notion that even the most minimally successful holiday celebration takes more effort than that.
8 p.m. on ABC The Great American Baking Show
Those with a taste for sweets shouldnt be unhappy with a new presentation that combines episodes titled Chocolate Week and Custard and Meringue Week, The first hour finds the bakers having to create molten lava cakes, truffles and a mousse cake. Then, creme brulee and pavlovas are among the culinary challenges they face. Mary Berry and Johnny Iuzzini are the judges, and spouses Nia Vardalos and Ian Gomez serve as hosts.

Tess (Lizzie Brochere) struggles desperately to protect the Boy (guest star S. Bryson Williams) as enemies close in on them from all sides in the Season 1 finale, Circular Time. 8:02 p.m. on LIFE Project Runway: Junior
Tim Gunn and his co-host, supermodel Hannah Jeter, return for a second season of this reality competition series, which pits junior designers between 13 and 17 years old in a variety of challenges. In the season premiere, Welcome to New York, 12 of these hopefuls meet in the Big Apple, where their first challenge starts almost immediately. Christian Siriano, Kelly Osbourne and Aya Kanai also return to judge their efforts.
8:03 p.m. on HIST The Selection: Special Operations Experiment
The instructors send the remaining 15 participants to rescue a downed pilot in a simulated exercise designed to test the groups teamwork as well as the leadership of a select few in a new episode called Man in the Arena. The novices also struggle to keep pace with Instructor Haggerty as he leads the team on an unbelievable physical feat.

There are Christmas carols, then there are Johns (James Brolin) versions, which depart from the originals when he performs them with his Air Force pals, as demonstrated in College Stealing Santa Caroling. Colleen (Angelique Cabral) joins them for this seasons round. Samantha (Holly J. Barrett) comes to regret her encounter with a shopping-mall Santa (guest star Donovan Scott). Dianne Wiest and Colin Hanks also star. Two more episodes follow.

6 p.m. on TCM Movie: The Thin Man
Robert Wagner and Stefanie Powers owe much of their Hart to Hart rhythm to William Powell and Myrna Loy, who perfected the concept of married, often bickering sleuths in this classic 1934 comedy-mystery movie. The stars play Nick and Nora Charles, a high-living couple who investigate an inventors supposed involvement in a murder. Maureen OSullivan plays his daughter, who enlists the couple. For those who want to make a late night of it, TCM follows the film with five sequels in this hit mystery series.
7 p.m. on CBS A Home for the Holidays
Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Miranda Lambert headlines the 18th edition of this annual holiday special that advocates adoption by interweaving inspirational stories of American foster families with music from some of todays most popular artists. In addition to Lambert, Canadian singer-songwriter Alessia Cara and international pop star Rachel Platten are scheduled to perform on this years special. The featured families hail from California and Nashville, Tenn.
7 p.m. on ABC Last Man Standing
Patricia Richardson, formerly Tim Allens wife on Home Improvement, reunites with him in Tanks for the Memories. Mike (Allen) wants the womans late husbands collection of miniature tanks and when he learns shes sold it to a Gulf War veteran (guest star Robin Roberts, Good Morning America), he takes measures to make it his anyway. Kristin and Ed (Amanda Fuller, Hector Elizondo) are dismayed by a restaurant critics review.

In Allisons Career Move, Ken (Ken Jeong) faces the prospect of his wife (Suzy Nakamura) working for the same firm when Pat (Dave Foley) offers her a job. Ken fears having too much closeness wth her, at virtually all hours. Molly (Krista Marie Yu) is concerned about her SAT scores, and Dave (Albert Tsai) conspires with her to keep their parents from learning those results. Tisha Campbell Martin also stars.

The stakes are personal for McGarrett (Alex OLoughlin) and the team in seeking a Russian spy whos stolen a flash drive of classified information in Waiwai (Hawaiian for Assets). Among the facts contained are some about one of their associates, potentially endangering that persons life. McGarrett is stunned to learn the real reason Catherine departed from Hawaii again. Abby (Julie Benz) pursues her secret assignment.

Wally Amos of Famous Amos cookie fame tries to sell the Sharks on his latest brand of edibles in this episode. Two Florida sisters relate their reason for developing swimsuits specifically designed for moms, prompting Barbara Corcoran to reveal something about herself. Two Colorado men give a demonstration of their technology-protection innovation. Daymond John discusses participating in a summit hosted by President Barack Obama.
8 p.m. on NBC Movie: Dolly Partons Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love
A sequel to the high-rated Coat of Many Colors, this 2016 drama movie continues the saga inspired by a song by Parton, whos an executive producer here. Jennifer Nettles, Rick Schroder and (as the young Dolly) Alyvia Alyn Lind all return as the members of the rural Tennessee family who face new challenges, including a holiday blizzard and the patriarchs financial struggles to give his wife a proper wedding ring. Co-star Gerald McRaney also is back.
8 p.m. on KDVR Sleepy Hollow
The dangers of opening Pandoras box have long been cautioned against and not only on this show, though its Ichabod and Abbies (Tom Mison, Nicole Beharie) mission to make the box complete again in Ragnarok. The quest to stop The Hidden One (guest star Peter Mensah) also continues, with nothing less than the fate of the human race hanging in the balance. James McDaniel and Michael OKeefe continue their guest roles.

Staged last April by the Royal Shakespeare Company to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the Bards passing, this new Great Performances presentation offers a truly star-studded cast in scenes from his plays that also reveal much about his own life. Among those featured are Judi Dench, Benedict Cumberbatch, Helen Mirren, Ian McKellen and David Suchet. Catherine Tate and David Tennant host from the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon.
SATURDAY
9 a.m. on WGN-A Movie: Rio
An animated confection for (or at least from) the birds, this colorful 2011 fantasy reunites vocally, anyway Anne Hathaway and Jesse Eisenberg, who played siblings on Get Real before their movie fame. A macaw (voice by Eisenberg) is taken to Brazil, potentially to mate with another of the last of their kind (voice by Hathaway). As might be expected, its not that simple. Additional voices are supplied by George Lopez, Jane Lynch and Jamie Foxx.
2 p.m. on CBS NFL Football
The Oakland Raiders appear to be playoff bound in the AFC thanks to the stellar play of quarterback Derek Carr. The Raiders host Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts who will need some help to make the playoffs themselves as the NFL resorts to a full Saturday schedule in lieu of the Christmas Holiday on Sunday. With Carr at the helm the Silver & Black are among the league leaders in several offensive categories.
6 p.m. on HBO Movie: Hail, Caesar!
Set in 1951 Hollywood, this lightweight but entertaining 2016 comedy from the Coen Brothers follows studio fixer Eddie Mannix (Josh Brolin) as he investigates when a top movie star (George Clooney) gets kidnapped while in full costume for the swords-and-sandals epic Hail, Caesar! The cast also includes Ralph Fiennes, Tilda Swinton, Jonah Hill, Scarlett Johansson, Frances McDormand and Channing Tatum.
6 p.m. on TNT WTBS Movie: A Christmas Story
TNT presents its traditional (and still welcome) 24-hour Christmas Eve marathon of this yuletide favorite from 1983, starring Peter Billingsley as Ralphie, the little boy who yearns to find a Red Ryder BB gun under the Christmas tree. Not just a Christmas story, its about parents, little brothers, bullies, decoder rings, double dog dares and most of all, the workings of a youthful mind. The writing by Jean Shepherd (who also narrates) captures it all perfectly. Darren McGavin and Melinda Dillon also star.
6 p.m. on TCM Movie: Christmas in Connecticut
A successful lifestyle journalist (Barbara Stanwyck) is lauded by her readers as the sweetest, most efficient homemaker in the countryside. Problem is, Elizabeth (Stanwyck) is a chain-smoking urbanite in a city apartment. When her boss suggests she host a soldier on leave for the holidays, she needs to come up with a home, child and cooking skills fast! Dennis Morgan and S.Z. Sakall co-star in the 1945 romantic comedy.

A hackers targeting of the entire blood supply of Los Angeles potentially has many devastating results, including the one Team Scorpion tries to prevent, in Ticker. A youngster awaiting a heart transplant may be one of the victims unless Walter (Elyes Gabel) and his colleagues can locate whoever is responsible for the crisis. Guest stars include Horatio Sanz (Saturday Night Live). Robert Patrick and Katharine McPhee also star.
7:01 p.m. on STARZ Movie: Miracles From Heaven
Jennifer Garner had a box-office hit with this 2016 drama targeted to Christian moviegovers and based on actual events. The former Alias actress stars as Christy Beam, the Texas mother whose book of the same title (adapted by screenwriter Randy Brown) relates how Beams 10-year-old daughter, Anna (Kylie Rogers, The Whispers), is pronounced cured of a serious illness after going through a near-death experience. Martin Henderson (Greys Anatomy) also stars in this film from Patricia Riggen (The 33).
7:45 p.m. on FREE Movie: National Lampoons Christmas Vacation
Written by Home Alone filmmaker John Hughes, the third installment in the movie-comedy series was a major hit of the 1989 holiday season. Chevy Chase returns as Griswold family patriarch Clark, who tries to ensure a traditional yuletide for his clan despite the considerable odds against it. Co-stars Beverly DAngelo and Randy Quaid also are back. Juliette Lewis plays one of the younger Griswolds.
8 p.m. on ABC CMA Country Christmas
For the seventh year, Grammy winner Jennifer Nettles who recently released the seasonal album To Celebrate Christmas hosts this country-flavored Yuletide music fest, recorded at Nashvilles Grand Ole Opry House. Idina Menzel and Andra Day, who perform numbers with Nettles on the album, are among the guests. So are Brad Paisley, Kelly Clarkson, Rascal Flatts, Kacey Musgraves, Kelsea Ballerini, Brett Eldredge and the iconic Loretta Lynn.
11 p.m. on CBS Listen! A Musical Celebration of Christmas at Berea College
Sounds of the season are presented from the Kentucky school, where more than half of the students who are there on Promise Scholarships, relieving them of having to pay for tuition dont major in music. Nevertheless, as demonstrated here, its groups include chamber singers, a womens chorus, and jazz and bluegrass ensembles. Also featured is a Nativity reading from a very special copy of the St. Johns Bible that the college recently acquired.
12:30 a.m. on KRMA Austin City Limits
The program reaches far back into its archives (three years after it premiered) for a 1979 episode showcasing singer, songwriter and sometimes actor Tom Waits, who has remained a major influence in music over the decades. The repeat is appropriately timed since some selections are holiday-themed though, as might be expected from Waits, not necessarily in the traditional way and the song lineup also includes Minneapolis and Small Change.

9 a.m. on ABC The Disney Parks Magical Christmas Celebration
Siblings and Dancing With the Stars veterans Julianne and Derek Hough have made the Disney theme parks in Florida and California pretty much their bases of operation this holiday season, and that continues with the traditional Christmas-morning event showcasing seasonal fun at the sites. Mariah Carey, Kelly Clarkson, spouses Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood, and Disney Channel star Sofia Carson (Descendants) are among others on board here.
12:30 p.m. on ABC NBA Basketball
Its a Christmas Day match up of last seasons NBA Finals when LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers host Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors. The Cavs brought a long awaited championship back to Cleveland but it was the Warriors who grabbed headlines in the off-season when they signed Kevin Durant away from Oklahoma City making Golden State the official team to beat in the NBA this season and reaffirming the rivalry between these two teams.
6 p.m. on KDVR Bobs Burgers
The animated comedy marks the Christmas season with Nice-Capades, as the Belcher children are threatened by an unpleasant mall Santa voiced by guest star Henry Winkler with landing on his naughty list. They try to get on his good side by staging an elaborate musical number. Zach Galifianakis also is a guest voice. H. Jon Benjamin and Kristen Schaal are in the regular vocal cast.
6 p.m. on TNT The Librarians
In their continuing quest to stave off the spread of pure, unfiltered evil throughout the world, the Librarians must find the long-lost mystical talisman that is known as the Eye of Ra, then unravel the mystery of the Bermuda Triangle in the new episode And the Trial of the Triangle. Flynn (Noah Wyle) must undertake and pass a series of tests. Rebecca Romijn, Christian Kane, Lindy Booth and John Harlan Kim also star.
6 p.m. on HALL When Calls the Heart
In a new Christmas episode, a mysterious peddler comes to Hope Valley, offering his wares to the townspeople and, in the process, teaching them lessons about joy and giving. Later, the local citizens come together in an act of compassion and charity after they realize that the recently displaced settlers in the area will not have a proper Christmas if left to their own devices. Erin Krakow, Daniel Lissing, Jack Wagner and Lori Loughlin star.
6 p.m. on ANPL Tanked: Merry Fishmas
In the first of several special Christmas week episodes, the new Tanks of Christmas finds Wayde and Brett feeling the holiday spirit as they look back over some of their most festive tanks and favorite yuletide memories, including a snow globe tank, an ATM holiday party and a holiday tank-off between Wayde and Brett judged by Jeff Tremaine, one of the producers of Jackass.
6 p.m. on FOOD Guys Grocery Games
In the new GGG Impossible: Finale, host Guy Fieri welcomes back the winners from the first three rounds to take on all-star chef Robert Irvine one final time. First, the chefs must make a decadent sandwich from an impossible list of items on Guys grocery list. The two chefs who succeed in that task then make a hearty family dinner using only canned or frozen ingredients. The victor of that round wins $10,000 and a shot at even more money if he or she is able to best Robert at a final dish.
6:30 p.m. on KRMA Call the Midwife Holiday Special
Members of the Nonnatus House staff are far away from home in this new offering, which takes them to South Africa to help the aptly named Hope Clinic, a mission hospital that faces challenges from every angle the biggest of them being simply to stay open. Jenny Agutter, Linda Bassett, Helen George, Charlotte Ritchie, Victoria Yeates and Stephen McGann are among the series regular cast members featured in this special edition.
7 p.m. on CBS I Love Lucy Christmas Special
A tradition of recent holiday seasons is maintained, as a colorized yuletide tale from the classic sitcom is paired with another episode thats had color newly added to it this time, Lucy Gets in Pictures. While decorating a tree, Lucy, Ricky, Fred and Ethel (Lucille Ball, Desi Arnaz, William Frawley, Vivian Vance) reminisce about how their lives have changed since the birth of Little Ricky (Keith Thibodeaux) in the flashback-filled seasonal episode.

One of the most beloved of modern Disney animated features, this 1991 fantasy puts its own spins on the familiar saga of a young woman (voice of Paige OHara) unexpectedly involved with a beastly creature (voice of Robby Benson). Hes actually an accursed prince who needs true love to return to his former self. Angela Lansbury and Jerry Orbach also supply voices. The Oscar-winning score includes the title song and Be Our Guest.
7 p.m. on TNT Movie: The LEGO Movie
With the popularity of the toy building blocks over several generations, its somewhat surprising this 2014 film didnt happen before it did but there surely will be more chapters, given its box-office success and entertainment value. Chris Pratt voices a Lego figure mistakenly thought to be the only one able to stop a power-crazed executive (voice of Will Ferrell). Morgan Freeman, Liam Neeson, Elizabeth Banks and (as Batman) Will Arnett also are heard.
7 p.m. on FOOD Holiday Baking Championship
On a special holiday episode, three Holiday Baking champions and three fan favorites from the Kids Baking Championship show compete in a yuletide-themed showdown that will net the winner $10,000. Duff Goldman, Nancy Fuller and Lorraine Pascale are the judges; Bobby Deen is host.

In the tradition of I Love Lucy and The Andy Griffith Show specials that have colorized episodes, this offering gives similar treatment to another classic sitcom. Edward IVs (Geoffrey Streatfield) death appears to give Richard an unobstructed path to his goal, but some hurdles remain. Judi Dench, Tom Sturridge, James Fleet, Keeley Hawes and Luke Treadaway also star.

How do you celebrate the holidays if youre one of the handful of people left on the planet? Phil (Will Forte) and the other survivors have to answer that for themselves in Secret Santa which also refers to the traditional gift-giving exercise that Carol (Kristen Schaal) tries to initiate among the others. It shouldnt take much for each person to figure out who gave them their present. January Jones and Mel Rodriguez also star.

MacGyver (Lucas Till) and a company whistleblower are strangers on a train, but companions in danger, in Toothpick. The woman has evidence that her boss is selling weapons to dangerous buyers, and when the locomotive is targeted in order to keep her quiet, MacGyver goes into action using the title toothpick, plus an armrest and a curtain rod. Sonia Rockwell and Kasha Kropinski guest star. George Eads and Sandrine Holt also star.

If you spent Sunday dreaming of a (Walter) White Christmas, youre in luck starting today, as AMC launches a marathon of the complete Emmy- and Peabody Award-winning drama series about the transformation of a meek, cancer-stricken high-school chemistry teacher into a ruthless drug lord. The show propelled Bryan Cranston to A-list stardom, but the cast abounds with great performances, including fellow Emmy winners Aaron Paul and Anna Gunn. Simply one of the best TV dramas ever made, period.
5 p.m. on FOOD Jonas Restaurant: Family Style
In this new special, Kevin, Joe, Nick and Frankie Jonas get back in touch with their Southern roots by traveling back to Belmont, N.C., to help their parents, Kevin Sr. and Denise, realize their long-held dream of opening a restaurant thats a tribute to his grandmother, Nellie. Unfortunately, with just a week to go before the grand opening, the senior Jonases are forced to realize they dont really know much about the restaurant business.

In this new documentary adaptation of the critically acclaimed off-Broadway show starring British comic Jonny Donahue in a one-person tour de force, a young boy tries to alleviate his mothers depression by creating a list of the best things in the world. The list grows over the years as the boy moves from childhood to his teen years, then college and marriage, but when tragedy strikes, hes surprised to find the list offers comfort to him as well.
6 p.m. on ANPL River Monsters: Legendary Locations
As its title reflects, a new episode called Deadliest Amazon Encounters looks back over some of host Jeremy Wades most suspenseful and even horrifying adventures with diverse and deadly critters in the rivers of the Amazon basin. The menagerie includes venomous giant stingrays, the bone-crushing anaconda and colossal catfish, all of whom lurk in those murky depths.

The first hour of a visit to Birmingham, Ala., deals heavily and appropriately with civil-rights history, as host Mark L. Walberg and appraiser Catherine Williamson survey items that all have connections to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Lithographs by celebrated artist Andy Warhol are included, as is a Frederic Remington painting thats accompanied by a letter the artist wrote to the current owners great-grandmother.

Good grief! Who assigns elementary-school children War and Peace? Charlie Browns teacher, thats who. He has to read it over the Christmas break and write a report, but holiday distractions keep getting in the way. He ends up leaving a New Years party and sitting outside to read, but that doesnt end well. Chad Allen (Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman) provides the voice of Charlie Brown in this 1986 Peanuts special.

Producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron continue their annual tradition of staging a live musical with the hit show based on John Waters purposely kitschy movie. The cast is filled with performing veterans including Kristin Chenoweth, Jennifer Hudson, Harvey Fierstein and Martin Short but newcomer Maddie Baillio gets the central role of Tracy Turnblad, a teen who attains her dream of dancing on a 1960s Baltimore television show, then lobbies to integrate it.

Another classic Batman villain, Jervis Tetch alias the Mad Hatter arrived on this series, as played by Benedict Samuel, in Mad City: Look Into My Eyes. Hes looking for his sister (guest star Naian Gonzalez Norvind), and he seeks Gordons (Ben McKenzie) assistance. The locals have reason to worry about an upcoming election when Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor) becomes a mayoral candidate. Richard Kind also guest stars.
7:30 p.m. on CBS Man With a Plan
One prized extra ticket to a Pittsburgh Steelers game. Two people who would be very happy to use it. Whats a person namely, Adam (Matt LeBlanc) to do? He has to decide in Two Tickets to Paradise, and the candidates to accompany him are his wife Andi (Liza Snyder) and his brother Don (Kevin Nealon). Veteran sitcom director James Burrows, who also worked with LeBlanc on Friends, guided this story. Diana Maria Riva also stars.
8 p.m. on ABC Rudolphs Shiny New Year
While its not up to par with the all-time holiday-season classic Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, this animated special still is a lot of fun. Red Skelton, Frank Gorshin and Morey Amsterdam provide voices for the story of the red-nosed deer, with the help of a whale and a caveman, setting off across time to find Happy the missing New Year baby. The mission is fairly urgent: If Happy stays lost, it will be Dec. 31 forever.

Two young people who moved to Los Angeles are found dead due to poisoning, prompting Lucifer and Chloe (Tom Ellis, Lauren German) to hunt for whoever is responsible, in Lady Parts. Maze (Lesley-Ann Brandt) asks Chloe out for drinks which Chloe initially doesnt realize is the result of a bet made with Lucifer, whos in for a surprise when that is discovered. DB Woodside, Tricia Helfer and Aimee Garcia also star.

Fish Filet probably isnt what you think it is in the case of this episode. Sylvester (Ari Stidham) enters a prison incognito to find out whos plotting quite lethally against several judges, but things go haywire and he finds his own life in peril. Stephanie Simmons, of Los Angeles KCBS-TV, guest stars as a reporter. Alana De La Garza (Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders) and Kevin Weisman (Alias) continue their guest roles.

An Indian-American man has plenty of matchmakers his entire family in the comedic documentary Meet the Patels, which traces his efforts to find new, post-breakup love while vacationing with his relatives. As seen through the eyes of his sister and incorporating animation, actor-comic Ravi Patel goes on various dates across the United States and Canada with particularly serious backing from his parents, who look forward to having grandchildren.

Curb Your Enthusiasm alum Cheryl Hines, also of Son of Zorn now, turns up in this episode to prove her mettle at improv comedy. Raymond Massey also stars.

A crossover story with NCIS: New Orleans begins with Sister City: Part One, as everyone aboard a private plane dies from poisoning. Two factors draw Gibbs and his team into the probe: The flight to Washington, D.C. originated in the Big Easy; and Abbys (Pauley Perrette) brother (guest star Tyler Ritter), who prepared its food, is missing. The investigation comes to involve the private tech company the plane was connected to.

The finale of the programs 30th season, the new profile Eero Saarinen: The Architect Who Saw the Future looks at the personal and professional lives of the architectural visionary whose accomplishments include St. Louis Gateway Arch and the TWA Flight Center at New Yorks Kennedy Airport. His cinematographer son Eric guides a tour of the works, incorporating archival interviews with the elder Saarinen and his second wife Aline, a noted art critic.

This years ceremony for performing-arts titans is tinged with sadness, since the Eagles tribute had been delayed by the illness of member Glenn Frey, who since has passed. The bands surviving musicians are saluted at the title Washington, D.C., site as are acting icon Al Pacino, veteran singer-songwriter James Taylor, gospel-and-blues legend Mavis Staples and pianist Martha Argerich. Other entertainers honor their careers as Stephen Colbert hosts.

Stories of refugees and migrants trying to escape bloodshed and persecution in their homelands get particularly personal detail in the new episode Exodus, which uses footage taken on their cell phones to show their flights toward hoped-for safety in Europe. This sitcom made enough of a mark as a midseason entry to earn renewal for a second round, which began with The Real Thang. Martha Plimpton continues as the matriarch of the family that has undergone a lot of changes, but this story is packed with familiar guest stars including Jane Lynch, RuPaul and Lance Bass playing themselves as Kenny (Noah Galvin) marks National Coming Out Day at school. Micah Fowler makes a compelling central figure in this comedy, being a series lead with cerebral palsy. His condition fits his character, a youth with special needs whose mother (a well-cast Minnie Driver) is determined to see that he gets a fair shake while she also tries to give her other children the attention they need. Friends veteran Scott Silveri is the shows creator and executive producer. John Ross Bowie also stars in this series pilot.

The revamped Team Arrow starts to take shape in The Recruits, as Curtis (Echo Kellum), Wild Dog (guest star Rick Gonzalez) and Evelyn Sharp (guest star Madison McLaughlin) become Olivers (Stephen Amell) intended allies in adventure. However, as their training progresses, not all of them may be up to the required tasks. Flashbacks detail the roots of Olivers association with the Bratva. Emily Bett Rickards also stars.

Theyre then put to the test in an appropriate locale, the desert near Cairo.
