Netflix New Year"s Countdown Works Like A Charm

Every parent struggles with whether or not they should let their younger kids stay up for the numerous New Years Eve celebrations on TV. If youre not a parent then youre probably wondering what the big deal is. Why not just let the little tikes stay up and enjoy the festivities with the adults? Well, lack of sleep and unhealthy amounts of junk food tend to have a seriously negative effect on little bodies and those little bodies can be a pain in the rear to deal with the next day. Thats why we used the Netflix New Years Countdown show to allow the kids a chance to celebrate but still get to bed on time.

Midnight, shmidnight. This year you can celebrate as a family and still have time for a parents-only party with a whole new set of New Years Eve countdowns on Netflix designed for preschoolers, tweens and everyone in between. No matter where you are, start your party anytime, anywhere by searching New Years Eve Countdown on Netflix.

Our kids are generally in bed by 7:00pm and thanks to Netflix, that isnt changing (much) this last day of the year. We allowed them to stay up just a little longer than normal so it felt like something a little special and we tuned in on NetflixsPuffin RockNew Years Eve Countdown. Netflix is also offering other characters and shows to help your little ones feel like its a special night for them too.Inspector Gadget, All Hail King Julien, Care Bears & Cousins, Project Mc2, and Sherman and Mr. Peabody are all included in the festivities.

The beauty of this is that its entirely up to you how you want to celebrate, we ate dinner in the living room while watching a movie. After dinner and a movie we turned on Netflix New Years Countdown (Puffin Rock) and counted down and celebrated a new year. Sure it wasnt exactly the New Year but they didnt seem to mind. They had a lot of fun eating in the living room while watching a movie and we had a great time counting down with Puffin Rock.

Honestly I think I may just go to bed soon myself! Happy New Year folks!

Trick Your Kids With A Pre-Recorded New Year's Countdown On Netflix

For the strong of liver and the childless, New Years Eve can be an epic time of drinking. But when youve got kids to control, and kids who want to join in on the New Years Eve festivities, conquering their moods until the stroke of midnight can be more of a tiny h**l than a hello my sixth glass of champagne, I love you.

Thankfully, Netflix has a solution for that reports Time.

They are releasing an on-demand New Years Eve Countdown that will be hosted by King Julien from Netflixs All Hail King Julien series.

So, if you have kids that arent smart (or old ) enough to know better, trick them into an early bedtime so that you parents can get some sort of fireworks Wednesday night.
