Theresa Saldana inverviewed by Rian Keating
Theresa Saldana, best known for her role as Rachel Scali on the 90s crime series The Commish, has died, our sister site Deadline reports.
The actress reportedly died at the age of 61 of undisclosed causes following a Los Angeles hospital stay.
Saldana received a 1994 supporting actress Golden Globe nomination for her work as the wife of small town police commissioner Tony Scali, played by Michael Chiklis.She alsoappeared on many popular TV series such as All My Children, Law & OrderandT.J. Hooker. Her final guest appearance was onThe Bernie Mac Show.
Saldana also dedicated her life to helping assault victims after surviving a stalker attackin 1982. She founded the Victims for Victims organization, and played herself in the TV movieVictims for Victims: The Theresa Saldana Story.
