Matt Calkins, a columnist for The Seattle Times, wrote an article during the weekend calling the city "Contention Town,"and praising many area teams for their title chances. From the Seahawks to the Mariners to the University of Washington football and basketball teams, Calkins made a convincing case for several of the state"s teams.
There was just one little omission. And Megan Rapinoe was having none of it. Responding to the article on Twitter, the U.S. women"s national team star and Seattle Reign member posted a friendly reminder about her team"s existence -- complete with perfect emojis.
I"m guessing no one will be making this omission again. YOU TELL "EM, "PINOE.
