International Womens Day is a day to celebrate women and their achievement. It is also a reminder of the many obstacles women faced and how they excelled in spite of the hurdles. Women today reside in important positions in all walks of life. They have made their involvement in all areas, they are demanding the social norms and trying to smash the indefinable glass ceiling. But it was a different story in the past. Women didnt enjoy the freedom they do now. Many werent permissible to study, go to work or even vote.
