Steam, the online market for PC games, experienced a major glitch on Friday.
Steam users who loggedin weregetting access to other users" accounts. We"ve also seen reports on social media that some people wereable to make purchases with other users" credit cards.
In fact, simply visiting the Steam store website gave anyone access to another user"s account.Valve, the company that runs Steam, shut down the store within an hour after the glitch hit. The store was operational again about an two hourslater.
It"s unclear what the cause was, andValve"s statement to The Verge didn"t shed much light on what happened. Valve has only said the glitch was caused by an "internal error".
Meanwhile, the glitch put 125 million of Steam"s active users at risk. Think of Steam as the App Store for PC games. Users store their credit card information and purchase games for download to their PC. A lot of that information was exposed in thisglitch and Valve hasn"t said anything to assure its customers that everything is OK.
James Harden Full Highlights 2015.12.23 at Magic - 31 Pts, 7 Assists
James Harden already has a fully grown beard like Santa Claus, and he decided to spread that holiday cheer this season with a very generous gesture. The Houston Rockets shooting guard gifted 20 single mothers with a shopping spree at Target, The Grio reports.

The pro-athlete, who also grew up with a single mother, took a group of 40 children and their mothers to the retail giant for an unforgettable trip. Growing up, my mom was by her lonesome so I had to do a lot, me, my brother, and my sister, he said. So I can kind of relate.
One of the mothers, Tammy Copeland, expressed her gratitude, saying, I work and I go to school, and Im a single mother of three kids. Very hard, but things like this, G*d just keeps on blessing me.

INSANE 7 YEAR OLD HOVERBOARD TRICKS AT THE SKATEPARK!
When you trip and fall a typical reaction is to bounce back up, hide your embarrassment and pray that no one saw you.
Unfortunately that wasn"t an option for a young boy who came crashing off his hoverboard on live Australian television in Adelaide on Saturday morning.
The popular Christmas gift has been in the news a lot recently after it was discovered their batteries can explode, and this latest clip will do little to convince parents to splash out on one for their kids.

Charlie (pictured) was being interviewed by Sunrise presenter Sam mac (pictured left) about his new Christmas present in Adelaide
When Sam asked the boy if he could ride it, the boy tried to step down and fell off the hovercraft and onto his back
Despite recent recalls of the hoverboard because of exploding batteries, they were one of the most popular presents handed out on Christmas Day.
The controversial self-balancing machines were removed from stores around the world and even Amazon after reports of it suddenly exploding.
It is believed to be caused by the batteries used in the cheaper models of the machines made in China which are then rebranded before being sold in the U.S. and UK.
The potential fire hazard has led many major airlines to ban the gadgets.
Dubais Emirates Airline banned them from being checked in with luggage on flights because the batteries contain lithium.
In the U.S., the boards have been rejected by the countrys three biggest airlines American Airlines, Delta and United, according to USA Today.
Poorly labelled, powerful lithium-ion batteries powering hoverboards are the issue, Delta officials said in an online statement.
Delta reviewed hoverboard product specifications and found that manufacturers do not consistently provide detail about the size or power of their lithium-ion batteries.
Sam lunged forward and offered the boy a hand to get up as he bounced back off of the ground
The controversial boards have been banned from being used in public in Britain
People who did received the wheeled gift on Christmas may have to keep it at home anyway as bans are enforced in UK restricting where they can be used.
You cant ride them down to the local corner store to pick up milk any more according to British legislation that bans them from being used in public.
They can only be activated on private property and with the landowners permission, according to the Guardian.
On the other hand, in the U.S. the bards can be used in public and California has even gone so far as to pass legislation allowing them anywhere bicycles are allowed.
The cheaper models of the gadgets were also recalled earlier this year after many spontaneously blew up
In the most recent blow for hoverboards, television presenter Sam Mac was talking to the young Charlie about his Christmas present as he rode it around an open shopping area when he asked if he could borrow the gadget for a quick ride.
As Charlie turned to get off of the hoverboard and let Sam have a go, he fell off and landed on his back, much to the horror of hosts Edwina Bartholomew and Andrew O"Keefe.
Did you just push him off his own hoverboard? Edwina asked with a horrified expression as she giggled.
Sam lunged forward and offered the boy a hand to get up as he bounced back off of the ground.
Are you ok? Sorry buddy, Sam said as he put his arm around the boy, who was wearing a black helmet.
The boy brushed himself off and was not injured
Multiple airlines across the world have banned the hoverboard from being carried on board planes

Christmas is celebrated throughout the Christian population, but is also celebrated by many non-Christians as a secular and a cultural festival with exchange of greetings, wishes and messages.
In respect of the festival, Pope Paul VI had once said, "We consider Christmas as the encounter, the great encounter, the historical encounter, the decisive encounter, between G*d and mankind. He who has faith knows this truly; let him rejoice." According to Carrie Fisher, Christmas is not necessarily about things, but "t"s about being good to one another, it"s about the Christian ethic, it"s about kindness".
Here are some greetings and quotes you can make use of on the occasion of this Christmas.
Bells are ringing to send my most sincere gretings and blessings to you. Have a good time. Merry christmas!

Shooting in Northlake Mall Charlotte North Carolina Christmas Eve 2015
CHARLOTTE, N.C.
We saw the scared looks on shopper"s faces as they ran out of the mall escaping the gunshots at Northlake mall in Charlotte Thursday.
That same shock is reaching city leaders, wondering how the mall became so vulnerable today to violence.
Images of people running and ducking for cover are the last images people expected to see at Northlake mall on Christmas Eve....
While officers staged a command center to investigate a shooting inside a shoe store.
It"s a tragedy that this would happen on Christmas Eve. Such a holy and blessed time of the year. But that"s the way of our country and things right now, Councilman Al Austin said.
Austin told channel 9 by phone mall management told him last month security was ready for the Christmas shopping season.
Northlake mall has had its share of issues with crime and violence.
Back in November 2014 bullets were sprayed into several cars during a shooting near the mall.
Then in March a fight at Northlake. We reported a fight between teens that forced mall security to step in.
We"ve also covered several break-ins and robberies at the mall. In July when three women assaulted and robbed workers at "downtown Locker Room" in the middle of the day.
There were several other hired officers working the mall, watching over the sea of shoppers.
Police said it was an off-duty officer who shot and killed the gunman.
Mayor Jennifer Roberts said it all just shows the pressure on city leaders to ensure resources to make places safer.
I think we should all be shocked and concerned when there is gun violence in our community. I think we need to continue to work to make sure our community is safe, Roberts said.
Next month city leaders begin budget talks that will include discussing putting more money toward public safety.
Channel 9 reached out Northlake mall for comment about the shooting Christmas Eve and have not heard back.
