Yasiin Bey / Mos Def arrested in South Africa for "Fake" World Passport -- A Moor Responds
Yasiin Bey recently shared a voice recording on Kanye West"s website. In addition to addressing the rumors of his entanglement with the South African government, the rapper announced that he would release an album this year, and that he would retire after the release of that work.
Now a series of mysterious posts have appeared on Bey"s Instagram. A couple photos allude to possible collaborations: "Yasiin Bey and Kendrick Lamar;" "Yasiin Bey feat. Ye, Cole, Lupe." The captions are enigmatic as well: "12 more hours, 12 less lonely souls complimentary for those who listen to your hearts," "/- last isn"t forever (special empire)," and "No. 2 , the ecstatic."
Certainly once the most unlikely movie on Warner Bros. slate of DC Comics superhero movies (yes, even more unlikely thanAquaman) wasSuicide Squad. But here we are with a movie about Harley Quinn, Mister J, and the rest of the gang within reach.
The DC superhero schedule will only be officially two movies old in 2016.Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justicearrives in March, and is focused on introducing as many heroes as possible in advance of the 2017Justice Leaguemovie. Rather than jumping right in for more solo films, Warner Bros. opted to do something unexpected and start building up their villains...and that"s whereSuicide Squadcomes in.
We probably shouldn"t be too surprised. Warner Bros.(along with DC Entertainment) has been quietly positioning the Suicide Squad for stardom over the last several years. Froma well-received appearance onArrowto an animated film where they co-headlined with Batman to a continued profile-raising in the pages of the comics, it"s been clear for some time that there were plans for the team. Well, it turns out that plan included a major movie with an all-star cast.
Now hit the drop down to navigate around for more information about the movie!

Track Palin was arrested in a domestic violence case in which his girlfriend was afraid he would shoot himself with an AR-15 assault rifle.
ANCHORAGE, Alaska >> The oldest son of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin was arrested in a domestic violence case in which his girlfriend was afraid he would shoot himself with an AR-15 assault rifle, according to court documents filed Tuesday.
Track Palin, 26, is charged with assault, interfering with the report of a domestic violence crime and possessing a weapon while intoxicated in connection with the incident Monday night at the Wasilla home of his parents, where he lives, according to an affidavit by police.
The girlfriend told authorities she was punched in the face by Palin, who is the oldest child of Sarah Palin, the 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee and conservative icon.
The charges were filed Tuesday, the same day Sarah Palin endorsed Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump before voting begins with the Iowa caucuses.
There is no telephone listing for the girlfriend. The court documents say the woman, Track Palins girlfriend of one year, had bruising and swelling around her left eye, and she said her right knee hurt after Palin kicked her there.
Palin family attorney John Tiemessen declined to comment on the matter other than to say in an email that respect for the familys privacy is appreciated as Track receives the help that he and many of our returning veterans need. Palins arraignment was held Tuesday, but Tiemessen was not sure if he entered a plea yet.
According to the three-page affidavit, both Palin and his girlfriend called 911 that night. Police Officer Andrew Kappler wrote that he arrived at the Wasilla home and found Track Palin walking outside and talking on a phone. The officer said Palin had an injury to his right eye and surrounding area, smelled strongly of alcohol and acted with escalating hostility, prompting Kappler to put him in handcuffs.
Police say a breath sample provided by Palin showed he had a blood alcohol level of 0.189.
The affidavit says other officers found the girlfriend hiding under a bed inside the home and crying.
The argument continued at the home, according to the affidavit, which says Palin struck the woman with his fist on the left side of her head near her eye. She curled up in the fetal position because she didnt know what else he would do, the woman told police. She said he then kicked her in the knee and threw her phone across the driveway, according to the court document. The woman said she went inside after getting her phone.
Inside, Palin held the rifle, with the barrel just away from his face pointed to the side, the affidavit states. The affidavit adds that the woman told police Palin was yelling Do you think I wont do it?
The girlfriend was concerned that he would shoot himself and ran outside and around the house, the affidavit says. She didnt see where Palin went, so she went inside and up the stairs, where she hid under a bed.
Its not the first encounter with the law for Palin or other members of his family. In September 2014, he and other Palins were involved in a brawl that broke out at a party in Anchorage. No arrests were made in the melee, and no one wanted to press charges. But according to a police report, Palin had blood around his mouth and his hands. He was belligerent until his mother told him to talk to a police officer.
"Dr. Doom" Stephen Hawking Humanity To Be Wiped Out
By Linda1
I feel so smart today. It isn"t often that the scientific merit of my ideas is confirmed by Stephen Hawking. Today, there is an article in The Guardian, reposted in the MSN news, titled, "Most threats to humans come from science and technology, warns Hawking". Excerpt:
"Speaking to the Radio Times ahead of the BBC Reith Lecture, in which he will explain the science of black holes, Hawking said most of the threats humans now face come from advances in science and technology, such as nuclear weapons and genetically engineered viruses."
Genetically engineered viruses? Where have I heard that before? Oh, that"s what drug companies put into vaccines that doctors, nurses and pharmacists inject directly into and/or put in the mouths of people - vaccines for illnesses that include Hepatitis B, HPV, flu, and rotavirus.
The vaccine for Hepatitis B was the first to be made from a genetically engineered virus as announced in this New York Times article from July 1986 (please see - the reader will appreciate the historical significance). Note who, in 1986, the Hepatitis B vaccine was recommended for:
Dr. Young recommended vaccinations with either hepatitis vaccine for dental and medical workers, susceptible homosexuals and drug users, the newborn children of infected women, and, among other groups, travelers to parts of the world where hepatitis B is rampant, such as southeast Asia, sub-Saharan Africa, and parts of the Middle East.
That was a couple of years before they got the no doubt economically motivated crazy idea to assault every baby born in this country with the full series of this genetically modified concoction, the first dose of which would be given by their decree when the baby is in medical custody, in hospital, within 12 hours of birth.
The reader can easily find references supporting the genetic modification of many other vaccines already in use and others in development. I"ve included a few quotes from the National Vaccine Information Center (NVIC) below (both NVIC rotavirus quotes also link back to the manufacturer"s package insert) and have put in bold some of the references to genetic modification:
RotaTeqvaccine is manufactured by Merck and was licensed by the FDA in 2006.Description: RotaTeq is a genetically engineered vaccinemade of live, attenuated human-bovine hybridized reassortant rotaviruses. Other ingredients include sucrose, sodium citrate, sodium phosphate monobasic monohydrate, sodium hydroxide, polysorbate 80, cell culture media, and trace amounts of fetal bovine serum. It does not contain preservatives.
Rotarixvaccineis manufactured by GlaxoSmithKline and was licensed by the FDA in 2008.
Description:Rotarix is a genetically engineered vaccine made of live attenuated human rotaviruses. Other ingredients include: amino acids, dextran, sorbitol, sucrose, and Dulbeccos Modified Eagle Medium (DMEM). DMEM contains sodium chloride, potassium chloride, magnesium sulfate, ferric (III) nitrate, sodium phosphate, sodium pyruvate, D-glucose, concentrated vitamin solution, L-cystine, L-tyrosine, amino acids solution, L-glutamine, calcium chloride, sodium hydrogenocarbonate, and phenol red.
The liquid diluent contains calcium carbonate, sterile water, and xanthan. The diluent includes an antacid component (calcium carbonate) to protect the vaccine during passage through the stomach and prevent its inactivation due to the acidic environment of the stomach. There is no preservative in Rotarix.
Hepatitis B Vaccine
You may be wondering how Dr. Hawking"s statement about genetically engineered viruses endangering mankind passed by the vigilant media vaccine censors, especially on MSN of all places? It is most likely because the vaccine censors don"t understand the products they are protecting and promoting. The vaccine censors don"t understand that vaccines contain genetically engineered organisms that are directly injected or ingested by humans. The complicit media censors don"t understand how genetically modified vaccines can endanger mankind. They follow their marching orders to propagandize and censor, blindly and thoughtlessly.
So once the censors realize that Dr. Hawking"s statement contradicts the WHO and CDC"s message to all the countries of the world that genetically modified vaccines are safe and effective and necessary for human survival - once they get wind of the fact that the golden egg that is the only egg in their basket (at their insistence) that they hold up to the world as the savior of mankind is actually a rotten egg that has the very real potential to destroy humanity, will they proceed to censor Dr. Hawking"s future statements? Will the vaccine fascists go after Dr. Hawking in order to protect their golden egg? Will their seemingly limitless hubris enable them to try to alter his message and go so far as to try to discredit the smartest man in the world?
I feel very smart today. But I live in a very stupid world, Dr. Hawking and present company excepted.

Famed theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking warns a disaster on Earth is a "near certainty", owing to the growing risks posed by humanity"s own scientific progress.
Speaking in the lead-up to his eagerly expected public lecture on new research in relation to black holes, Hawking said the prospect of a planetary disaster is virtually inevitable, due to a number of ongoing threats for which we as a species are basically single-handedly responsible.
"We face a number of threats: nuclear war, global warming and genetically engineered viruses," he told Radio Times, as reported by Sarah Knapton at The Telegraph. "Although the chance of a disaster on planet Earth in a given year may be quite low, it adds up over time, becoming a near certainty in the next thousand or ten thousand years."
Nonetheless, while the prospects Hawking describes are certainly bleak, he says in the short-term, humanity should be able to climb out of this hole provided we live long enough to realise our interplanetary ambitions, that is.
"By that time we should have spread out into space, and to other stars, so it would not mean the end of the human race," he said. "However, we will not establish self-sustaining colonies in space for at least the next hundred years, so we have to be very careful in this period."
The ironic (but very believable) logic in Hawking"s arguments is that it"s humanity"s past advancements that have gotten us into this mess but it"s also only through continuing research and discoveries that we will be able to get out of it.
"Most of the threats we face come from the progress we"ve made in science and technology," he said. "We are not going to stop making progress, or reverse it, so we must recognise the dangers and control them. I"m an optimist, and I believe we can."
Hawking"s fears over the risks humanity faces before it can leave the planet are not new. For much of this century he"s spoken critically about where developments such as nuclear weapons and genetically engineered viruses may be leading us.
Last year, he joined a high-profile coalition of scientists and experts protesting against the development of autonomous weaponry controlled solely by artificial intelligence. His view is that political involvement is crucial, and that it"s everybody"s responsibility to keep progress steered where we need it to go.
"Science and technology are changing our world dramatically, so it"s important to ensure that these changes are heading in the right directions," said Hawking. "In a democratic society, this means that everyone needs to have a basic understanding of science, to make informed decisions about the future."

In the sequel, the couple finds themselves enlisting their the help of their old nemesisto fightwhat might be an even bigger threat: a sorority next door.
Chlo Grace Moretz, Kiersey Clemons, and Beanie Feldstein play three of the ladies of Kappa Nu, who arent about to let a little thing likefurious neighborsstop them from throwing epic ragers. Adding to the pain this time is the fact that the girls are, well, girls. With the sorority girls, its like a glimpse into their daughters future, and it terrifies them, Byrne has said. So what exactly has the Radners so spooked? Find out with the firstNeighbors 2: Sorority Rising trailer after the jump.
UPDATE: An international trailer forNeighbors 2 has just hit, and you can watch it below.
UPDATE: And heres an international trailer with some different footage.
Directed byNicholas Stoller,Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising opens May 20. Heres the detailed official synopsis:
Returning stars Seth Rogen, Zac Efron and Rose Byrne are joined by Chlo Grace Moretz for Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising, the follow-up to 2014s most popular original comedy. Nicholas Stoller again directs in a film that follows what happens when the will of parenthood goes against the bonds of sisterhood.
Now that Mac (Rogen) and Kelly Radner (Byrne) have a second baby on the way, they are ready to make the final move into adulthood: the suburbs. But just as they thought theyd reclaimed the neighborhood and were safe to sell, they learn that the new occupants next door are a sorority even more out of control than Teddy (Efron) and his brothers ever dreamed of being.
Tired of their schools sexist, restrictive system, the unorthodox ladies of Kappa Nu have decided to start a house where they can do whatever the h**l they want. When Shelby (Moretz) and her sisters, Beth (Kiersey Clemons) and Nora (Beanie Feldstein), find the perfect place just off campus, they wont let the fact that its located on a quiet street stand in their way of parties as epic as the guys throw.
Forced to turn to the one ex-neighbor with the skills to bring down the new Greeks next door, the Radners alongside best friends Jimmy (Ike Barinholtz) and Paula (Carla Gallo) bring in charismatic Teddy as their secret weapon. If he can infiltrate the sorority and charm his way through it, the thirtysomethings will shutter the Kappas home. But if they think that their neighbors are going down without a fight, they have severely underestimated the power of youthful ingenuity and straight-up crazy.

Fulton"s third pick, Emerson Electric, has a market cap of $46 billion. She said Emerson Electric"s dividend ($1.64) has increased by 7.5 percent per year over the past five years. Emerson Electric designs and manufactures electronic and electrical equipment, software and systems. The stock is up 32 percent over the past year, handily beating the S&P 500 which is up about 19 percent over that period.
Farr likes Chevron, Rockwell Collins, a communications and aviation electronics company, and Stryker a global medical device maker. His firm has over $900 million in assets under management. He and his family own shares of these stocks but his firm does not.
Farr said Chevron only gets 5 percent of its oil from the Middle East, allowing it to make money when oil prices rise but without the risk of losing too much production when there are conflicts in the Middle East. He believes Chevron deserves an "Exxon Mobil-like premium given the strength of its operation and improving returns on capital employed." He also said the stock is a little cheaper than its peers, trading at 10 times the calendar year 2014 consensus estimate.
Rockwell Collins has its business split between government and commercial customers so it can lean on its private sector investments when there are problems with the government. Shares have posted a 12 percent annual earnings-per-share growth over the past year, and the 1.8 percent dividend yield also makes it an attractive stock, Farr said. Its shares have nearly doubled in the past five years and are up more than 1 percent this month. The company"s trailing 12-month price-to-earnings ratio is approximately 16.
Lastly, Stryker, which makes implantable devices for things like hips, knees and spines, has a solid record generating above average and less volatile sales and earnings growth, Farr said. Stryker shares are up 33 percent this year and 8 percent this month. "An improving global economy, an aging population, increased penetration into faster growing emerging markets, continued efforts to improve efficiency, targeted acquisitions and intelligent capital allocation should help Stryker hit this earnings target," Farr said.
