Should Arrow"s Felicity Be Angry? How Did Hawkman Forget? Can Emmys Get Young? Nancy Drew Too Old? More Qs!

Arrow 4x11 Promo "A.W.O.L." (HD)

Weve got questions, and youve (maybe) got answers! With another week of TV gone by, were lobbing queries left and right about shows including The Good Wife, New Girl, Arrow and DCs Legends of Tomorrow!

1 | Did SNL forget Sasheer Zamata is a full-time cast member? And as fun as the Undercover Boss: Kylo Ren send-up was, shouldnt it have been 20 percent more clever? (Surely Stormtroopers grumble in the galley about pulling duty on an assuredly doomed planet/weapon.)

2 | If The Good Wifes Alicia and Lucca take up Carys offer and re-team with Lockhart-Agos-Lee, will you celebrate the end of the shows divided-firms dynamic or throw your hands up at yet another plot point in this case, Alicias determination to start a smaller firm with the types of clients she wants getting unceremoniously dropped?

3 | As much as we love the amount of vocal talent in the Madam Secretary cast, can the series please stop shoehorning musical numbers like, Blakes James Taylor karaoke into the Beltway drama?

4 | Didnt you cringe for Downton Abbeys Mrs. Hughes when Cora invited her to decline the use of the great hall for the wedding in front of Carson, Mary et al? And could Tom have stolen the couples thunder any more than he did if hed arrived during the ceremony?

5 | Did Room rugrat Jacob Tremblays Critics Choice Award acceptance speech alone prove that the Emmys would benefit from a Younger Actor category? (Even more so than adding, say, Best Dramedy?)

6 | Was Supergirls Cat mocking Lucys glorified yoga pants a rather catty quip from someone who typically croons the female empowerment anthem?

7 | Didnt you expect The Bachelor to keep Lace around waaaaay longer?

8 | Steve Harveys misty-eyed reaction to Miss Colombias declaration of forgiveness: Genuine emotional response or playing it up for ratings?

9 | Is the biggest leap with CBS new Nancy Drew not that shell be ethnically diverse, but that shes in her 30s and an NYPD detective? Wasnt the whole charm of the character that she was a teenage snoop?

10 | How could The Flashs Patty not realize her boyfriend is the speedster, especially after The Turtle made that comment about how much the hero cares for her and Barry just happened to disappear when The Flash showed up? Also, wheres the green sweater Wally left behind that first night (pictured)? (And why would he have taken it off?)

11 | Wouldnt New Girl clean freak Schmidt have noticed that Cece is a total slob no matter how happy he is about their engagement?

12 | Did Agent Carter deliver its most far-fetched moment yet by suggesting that any guy would not return Peggys phone calls? Also, how did the camera recording the zero matter event not get sucked into the vortex along with the jeeps and soldiers?

13 | Chicago Med fans, why do you think Connors mom really killed herself? What did his dad do?

14 | On The Shannara Chronicles, did Wils brains leak out his half-elf ears? How else to explain him falling for the Rovers seduction scheme, yet again?!

15 | As eagle-eyed TVLine reader Alex brought to our attention: Is/was The Flashs Patty sharing an apartment with Arrows Diggle/Lyla?!

16 | Do we have this right? The rather unique name of Arrow baddie Damien Darhks ruthless wifes is Ruv the same as portrayer Neal McDonoughs real-life missus? Elsewhere, was Felicity too forgiving of Olivers absence from the hospital? (At least Donna called him out on it!) And who is your latest Flash-Forward Grave theory: Diggle? Lance? Donna? Thea?

17 | Did Supernaturals Lucifer take a dig at Foxs upcoming Lucifer with that line about moving to L.A. and solving crimes? On that note: Would you totally watch a Supernatural spinoff starring Mark Pellegrino?

18 | Does Second Chances Tim DeKay wear the shiniest, brand-newest and most nicely tailored Kevlar vest on TV?

19 | Was Kato Kaelins appearance on the Baskets premiere some sort of cross-promotion for FXs upcoming The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story?

20 | If, as established during the #Flarrow crossover, Hawkman remembers all of his and Hawkgirls past adventures, how on Legends of Tomorrow did he not recognize Aldus last name, or that he and Chay-Ara so recently had a son? Amidst the heavier and flashier firepower wielded by Chronos, Captain Cold, Firestorm and Atom et al, doesnt Rips laser revolver seem a bit pew!-pew!-puny? Finally, whod like to join us in watching the Sara/Leonard/Mick bar scene on a continuous loop?

21 | Did Heroes Reborn rip off True Detective when Tommy gave that monologue about time being a circle?

22 | Just to be clear: Were all disturbed by the Angel From h**l title card, yes?

23 | Wont it be a great day when we dont have to write stories like this?

Hit the comments with your answers and any other Qs you care to share!

Whoopi"s Clapback to Stacey Dash: Why We Need Black History Month & BET [WATCH]

In case you"ve been living under a rock, there"s been a lot of talk about the 2016 Academy Awardsand the lack of diversity among this year"s acting nominees.

Jada Pinkett Smith and Spike Lee have both said they"ll boycott the Oscars this year. But actress and Fox News contributorStacey Dash, best known for her role in 1995"s Clueless, has different ideas about diversity, including doing away withBlack History Monthand black-focused television networks like BET.

Like Us on Facebook

"It"s ludicrous," Dash said Wednesday on Fox & Friends nduring a discussion about the Oscars controversy, according toUS Magazine."If we don"t want segregation, then we have to get rid of channels like BET and the BET Awards and the [NAACP] Image Awards, where you"re only awarded if you"re black." She said Americans need to get rid of Black History Month so people can celebrate being American instead of a category.

Whoopi Goldberg, who has been talking about the Oscars on The View this week, and co-host Paula Faris responded to Dash"s comments Thursday and stressed the importance of Black History Month, according toEUR.

"It"s not taught, as it pertains to America," Goldberg said. "American history holds all of us, but we"re not all treated like Americans. One of the reasons there is a BET is because networks wouldn"t take a lot of the shows that have an all-black cast."

"White history month is every other month, so Black History Month is there to spotlight the history," co-host Joy Behar said.

Instagram, Twitter and Facebook blew up following Dash"s comments; even BET chimed in via Instagram Memes.

The network"s accountreposted this meme

and this one:

Dash has not responded to the backlash.

Actress Jena Malone announces pregnancy with poem

Jena Malone & The Shoe - "Dead Rabbit Hopes" Acoustic Performance for Just Jared"s Spotlight Series
By Lisa Respers France CNN

(CNN) -- When it came time to reveal her baby bump, Jena Malone got poetic.

The "Hunger Games" actress posted a picture of herself and bit of a poem on Instagram on Wednesday to alert the world to the fact that she and "beautiful hearted baby daddy" Ethan DeLorenzo are expecting their first child.

"Womb to womb/To beating wing/I climbed out of the eternal/ And into the shape of me," she wrote. "Some words I wrote years ago when I was thinking about my own mother. And the woman she was when she had me."

Malone, rumored to be co-starring in the upcoming film "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," got deep as she reflected upon her condition.

"The shape your desires make out of you. The body you become to hold your dreams," her caption says. "It"s with two feet firmly on the ground and a heart swelling in an ocean of love that I"d like to share the new shape I am becoming to hold the greatest dream of them all. #babybump #newparents."

National Hug Day evokes bad memories for Dodgers" AJ Ellis

Farnham celebrates birthday, National Hug Day

National Hug Day is a fun-spirited day designed to unite people, but for Los Angeles Dodgers catcher A.J. Ellis, it ended up reminding him of some bad times -- with the "help" of his teammate, of course.

In celebration of National Hug Day, a fan sent a photo to Ellis of him and ace Clayton Kershaw embracing after Kershaw pitched a shutout in San Francisco to clinch the NL West division title last season.

Ellis retweeted the photo to his followers, admiring Kershaw"s ability to hold him -- a "230-pound(ish) giddy schoolboy," in his own words -- after pitching nine scoreless innings.

.@ClaytonKersh22 pitches CG shutout and still has strength to catch and hold a 230lb(ish) giddy schoolboy. #hugday https://t.co/BBDeP5CjVX

AJ Ellis (@AJEllis17) January 21, 2016

Dodgers third baseman Justin Turner seized the otherwise fuzzy moment as an opportunity to taunt his teammate -- because, well, that"s what athletes do.

@AJEllis17 @ClaytonKersh22 @DodgerFoodie @Dodgers I think he was trying to keep you from landing on your mask! #Sniper

Justin Turner (@redturn2) January 21, 2016

Turner is referring to an unfortunate incident that Ellis would rather forget.

While celebrating Josh Beckett"s no-hitter on May 25, 2014, Ellis stepped on the catcher"s mask of the day"s catcher, Drew Butera, and sprained his ankle, which sidelined him for three weeks.

Ellis had some fun with Turner"s conjuring of his unflattering incident, blaming Butera, who is no longer with the Dodgers.

.@redturn2 @ClaytonKersh22 better friend then @drewbutera pic.twitter.com/mY1JtEdBXv

AJ Ellis (@AJEllis17) January 21, 2016

Well, that was a successful celebration of National Hug Day -- with no sprained ankles, thankfully.

The 100"s New Season 3 Trailer Warns That We Better Start Preparing For Another War

The 100 | Hunted Trailer | The CW

Hope for peace. Prepare for war.

That seems to be The 100"s battle-cry heading into hits highly anticipated third season, which premieres on Thursday, Jan. 21. E! News has your exclusive first look at the CW hit"s newest trailer, which debuted at the 2016 Winter TCA Press Tour, and finds our heroine Clarke (Eliza Taylor) on the run as she"s being "hunted" by everyone after taking off on her own at the end of the season two premiere.

And Clarke is sporting a wild new look in the footage, as well as getting hot and heavy with someone who is not Lexa (Alycia Debnam-Carey, who is returning) or Bellamy (Bob Morley). (Sorry, Clexa and Bellarke fans.)

CLICK: Watch Shawn Mendes" make his acting debut (and sing!) on The 100

Eliza Taylor talked about Clarke"s surprising evolution over the course of the series thus far on the panel, saying, "It has evolved to my surprise. Constantly not knowing where the story is going...every day I get to work and I get to learn and grow with this character."

And Clarke isn"t the only character learning and growing in season three, as a devastated Jasper (Devon Bostick) is still having a hard time dealing with Maya"s death in the season two finale and Raven (Lindsey Morgan) is putting on a tough front about her leg injury...but not everyone is buying her act.

And it looks like that truce with the Grounders might not be a long-lasting one, as Lincoln (Ricky Whittle) warns "the truce will break and we"ll be at war" in the promo. On the panel, showrunner Jason Rothenberg teased fans will learn more about the Grounders in season three, saying,"We tell a lot of stories in [the Grounder capitol] Polis this season," adding there may or may not be a "civil war brewing" there as well.

The 100 season three premieres Thursday, Jan. 21 at 9 p.m. on the CW.

New planet could be named in honour of Arab thinker

Scientists who discovered new planet explain how they did it

Once it has been confirmed the discovery is definitely a planet, Arab names have been nominated for it.

Al Battani, or Al Batenius, a ninth-century Arab astronomer, astrologer and mathematician, from Syria, would be a great name for the new planet, said Prof Hamid Al Naimiy, an astrophysicist and chancellor of the University of Sharjah and director of the Sharjah Centre for Space Sciences and Astronomy.

Al Battani wrote many books on astronomy and trigonometry and his work was quoted by famous figures such as Nicolaus Copernicus.

Al Battani lived and worked in Raqqa, Syria, and one of his best-known achievements in astronomy was the determination of the solar year as being 365 days, five hours, 46 minutes and 24 seconds, a calculation that was only two minutes and 22 seconds off.

He made great contributions to the field of space and astronomy, and so it would be great to honour him like that by naming a new planet after him, said Prof Al Naimiy, who is also the president of the Arab Union for Astronomy and Space Sciences, and a member of the International Astronomical Union.

This is exciting news for us, because there are many objects out there, and the more we discover and understand our own solar system, the more information we get the more we understand about our own planet and about our history, he said, pointing out that Planet 9 was still a maybe at this stage.

There will be lots of investigations going on, because for something to be called a planet, it must have a complete orbit around its own star, and in the case of the ninth planet, a complete orbit around the Sun, he said.

The Sharjah Centre for Space Sciences and Astronomy will also be looking into this new discovery. It is an exciting time to be working and studying astronomy and space and beyond, Dr Al Naimiy said.

Ibrahim Al Qasim, project supervisor and manager of strategic research at Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre, came up with a more philosophical name for the new planet.

Al Ghareeb, strange one, he said. Because we just discovered it and know nothing about it. Demystifying it will be an exciting journey.

As the UAE prepares to send Al Amal, the Hope probe, to Mars in 2021, which will make the UAE the first Arab country to reach the Red Planet, the possibilities for discoveries are endless.

Who knows, maybe one day we will get a chance to explore it, Mr Al Qasim said.

Both agree that the latest discovery should be a lesson for mankind. The more we discover, the smaller we find we are, and so it should push us closer together as a human race, Mr Al Qasim said.
