Fans of Fifth Harmony Harmonizers, that is are well familiar with the rampant speculation online regarding the future of the group. Following a string of somewhat dicey interviews about their eventual disbandment last year, the girls assured us that theyre coming harder than ever with 5H2, signing to new management and hitting the recording studio to work on their Reflection follow-up.
But when Camila Cabello popped up solo as a feature on Shawn Mendes I Know What You Did Last Summer, some fans worried that the move was the beginning of a shift toward solo-dom for the 5H singer.
Not so, says Camila.
In a new interview with Seventeen, which declares Fifth Harmony the Most Powerful Girl Group on the issues cover, Cabello expressed her annoyance at the solo rumblings.
Its very frustrating, she said regarding online backlash about the collaboration.
Its been very difficult to watch people criticize me and my intentions. Its been shty. They turned me [doing the song] into a conspiracy theory. We literally just wrote a song backstage, and it ended up becoming something awesome. It wasnt a career move that I carefully planned out.
And there you have it: The latest 5H break-up conspiracy theory dispelled.

Kanye West vs Wiz Khalifa MEMES - Kanye west vs Amber Rose Twitter beef and - Kanye West vs
For a few minutes during his epic and now deleted tweet storm Wednesday, Kanye West was just plain hilarious, in his uniquely Kanye way. Raging at his fellow artist Wiz Khalifa, who had committed the crime of publicly expressing a lack of enthusiasm for the new name of Wests forthcoming album, WAVES, he issued proclamations seemingly begging to be turned t-shirts. You have distracted from my creative process, he railed. Maybe I couldnt be skinny and tall but Ill settle for being the greatest artist of all time for consolation. But then, asa bonus, hewent and provedhimself a world class jackass when it comes to talking about women.
As West continued to go nuclear, he took a pause from commenting on Khalifas music (corny as f__k) and pants (cool), toadd other bullet points to his list of the mans apparent shortcomings. 4th you let a stripper trap you. 5th I know you mad every time you look at your child that this girl got you for 18 years, he wrote, and later, 12th You wouldnt have a child if it wasnt for me. The references, as even those who cant follow the incredibly tangled system of former and current relationships orbiting the Kardashian sisters will recognize, were to model, entrepreneur and provocateur extraordinaire Amber Rose. Before moving on to other relationships, Rose and West dated for two years. She now has a nearly three year-old son with estranged husband Khalifa. Oh, and she started stripping as a teenager.
In an interview with Cosmopolitan last year, Rose discussed how she started out as an exotic dancer at age 15 to make money. I did it and I was like, Oh, h**l no, I cannot do this," she said. I was a kid. I think I was still a virgin at the time. Being onstage with my b***s out, it was like, Oh my G*d, this is not for me." But she soon grew to appreciate the job, continuing to dance until she was 25. That was the best time of my life! she said. Oh my G*d, I had so much fun. I really did. All the girls were really cool. The guys werent allowed to touch you. I was never sexually assaulted or [anything]. I was young, beautiful, I was onstage, I wasnt really ashamed of my body. I made lifelong friends. Lets just repeat that pertinent line: I wasnt ashamed.
Unfortunately, for a woman to not be ashamed is an unacceptable condition in many parts, and Rose has certainly spent the last several years enduring the taunts of those whod try to hoist embarrassment uponher. Last year, Kanyes sister-in-law Khloe Kardashian called out Rose over her comments about Kylie Jenner, saying, I was a stripper since I was 15 years old, Amber Rose told Foxx. Please dont worry about my sister who has a career & her s__t together at only 17. The implication, clearly, is that one cannot be a stripper and have her s__t together.
Around the same time, West jumped in the fray, saying on The Breakfast Club that Its very hard for a woman to want to be with someone whos been with Amber Rose. I had to take 30 showers before I got with Kim.
ButRose didnt care, firing back at critics taking issue with her for posting bikini pictures of herself on Instagram, now that shes the mother of a young son. Or as she put it, Kiss my MILFY a*s b*****s,In August she showed up with Blac Chyna at VMAs in outfits defiantly festooned with sexist slurs aimed at women just like them.
Rose can, obviously, take careof herself just fine. And on Wednesday, she shot back at Kanye West with a mic dropping and incredibly NSFW responsethat, in the process, laughed at him for getting bodied by a stripper. But as long as West brought it all up, lets just unpack the thorough grossness of what he said before deleting it all and explaining, All I want is peace and positive energy. We can even do this Kanye style.
First: He presumed that the word stripper is a pejorative, spitting out Roses former occupation as if it somehow is an insult to call a former stripper a stripper. (It is not.) Second: He suggestedthat Rose somehow trapped Khalifa, because they have a child together. Third, and frankly this ones the worst: West went after the guys toddler, narcissistically quoting his own Gold Digger in the process, suggesting that when he looks at his young son he feels not, say, parental pride, but the weary resignation of a man stuck with the boys stripper mom. Its quite the trifecta of classic sexist BS. Theres the trying to shame a man by pointing at his woman, because, right, this is really about the boys and the ladies are just there as symbols of their status in the world. Theres the assumption that a man would have to have been trapped to love and have a child with a former stripper, and of course, theres the continued straight up attempting to humiliate a woman forever havinga job that involved her body.
When I talked on Thursday to my friend Lily Burana, who like Rose spent the better part of a decade as a stripper and authored the memoir Strip City, we were both still agog. From Kanye to Tina Fey to Family Guy," she told me, knocking strippers is a perennial dis. Its misogyny; its s*x worker phobia; its completely anti-feminist. That time is over. Take a seat. She addedthat being a stripper is not an insult. Its a resume bullet point. And seriously, man, if you have issues with women who use their sexuality to advance their careers, you sure picked an interesting family to marry into.

If you"ve heard anything from us about possible Knickstrade targets, it"s been two words: Point. Guard.
Shaq says LSU "paid me very well"
After some rumblings about Detroit Pistons guard Brandon Jenningsand ex-Sixers guard Tony Wroten, there"s now another PG who could be on the Knicks" radar, per ESPN"s Ian Begley: The Atlanta Hawks" Jeff Teague:
The Nets are the worst franchise in pro sportsHopeless now. Hopeless in the future. But at least they"re Brooklyn"s problem now.
"The Knicks are one of several teams to express interest in the 27-year-old Teague. ...It"s unknown at this point how far along the talks between the Knicks and Hawks are but one league source said that casual discussions have been ongoing for several days.
"It"s also unclear what the Knicks have offered in a potential Teague deal.
"Several executives have labeled the Knicks" trade assets as underwhelming."
Here"s what the Knicks have that"s of any value, as Begley notes: Guards Langston Galloway and Jerian Grant, and a first-round pick in 2018 (though we all know what dealing first-rounders has done for the Knicks lately). That"s pretty much it.
Kevin Durant to the Knicks?
Teague still has this year and the next left on his contract, which would put a dent in the Knicks" 2016 cap ... and Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant just happens to be a free agent this summer.
The other option to shore up at the point? Wait until the offseason and go after a name like the Memphis Grizzlies" Mike Conley.

Just in case your mind was not blown enough by all of the surprises that The Flash gave you last night, know this: Another Speedster could be coming soon to Central City to mess with Barry Allen in a very unique way.
According to TVLine, Days of Our Lives alumni Allison Paige is going to be coming aboard the CW series later this season as Eliza Harmon, a woman who also has an alternate comic-book identity of her own in Trajectory. She is known for her speed, but also for causing some chaos and on the show, The Flash could end up being blamed for some of it. Its a classic superhero trope to have a city turn against a hero, but we are curious about what would happen in this world, given that Central City has been incredibly loyal to The Flashto the point that he has his own latte, and that they tried to hold a celebration for him before it was interrupted by Atom-Smasher in the season premiere.
Paige is coming on a show that already has a super-speedster as the Big Bad in Zoom, and we also had the Reverse-Flash return on Tuesday nights new episode. We already know that Harrison Wells daughter on Earth-2 is Jesse, which we presume is some sort of reference to Jesse Quick. Also in this episode we learned that the Earth-1 version of former speedster Jay Garrick is Hunter Zolomon, a man who may very well have a role to play in all of this before the season is over.

San Diego Medical Center Held Active Shooter Simulation 1 Week Ago Council moves ahead with $5B Rebuild San Diego ballotmeasure
SAN DIEGO The City Council Tuesday directed the City Attorneys Office develop language for a proposed ballot measure that would set up a method for funding infrastructure projects in San Diego over the next few decades.
Councilman Mark Kerseys Rebuild San Diego plan would amend the City Charter to dedicate future sales tax growth and money from reduced pension payments toward neighborhood upgrades, including streets, sidewalks, storm drains, parks, libraries, recreation centers, and police and fire stations.
In addition, it would preserve half of all new major general fund growth for infrastructure projects formalizing a commitment made by Mayor Kevin Faulconer in his first two budgets.
The money dedicated by the measure would close a gap in funding for fixing billions of dollars of neglected roads, sidewalks, municipal buildings and other city facilities that have been ignored until recently.
Kersey, his Infrastructure Committee and the mayors office have spent the past couple of years trying to figure out the scale of the problem, and to streamline the city processes meant to deal with the issue.
When my team and I first began putting together this measure, we agreed on one overarching goal to never let the citys infrastructure get this bad again, Kersey said. We realized pretty early on it would not be good enough to just invest in new projects or to just close the deferred maintenance gap, because as we now know, simply building new projects doesnt break the cycle of deterioration, which is how we got in this mess in the first place.
The plan doesnt include a tax increase so if it goes on an election ballot possibly in June it would require only a simple majority for passage.
Faulconer has endorsed Kerseys plan, which also received conditional support from the citys Independent Budget Analyst and San Diego County Taxpayers Association. Both the IBA and SDCTA have suggested tweaks.
The City Attorneys Office is scheduled to return Feb. 9 with draft language, at which time the council will determine whether it wants the Rebuild San Diego to last 20, 25 or 30 years. Kersey initially proposed 30 years, but several council members expressed a preference for a shorter time frame.
The City Council has until early March to decide whether the proposed measure will actually go on the ballot.
