Michael Wilbon and Tony Kornheiser of ESPNs hit show Pardon the Interruption made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night to talk about the early years of PTI, their working relationship, and their thoughts on some of the biggest sports stories going on right now. At one point, Jimmy Kimmel asked them about the recent news regarding Dwight Howard and the Rockets" desire to trade him, and Kornheiser told Kimmel about how Wilbon has been a Howard apologist for years. And after admitting that he has defended Howard for years, Wilbon went on to say that his opinion of Howard has soured recently because of what manyNBA players have told him about the Houston center.
I did defend him for years, Wilbon said. This is a hot-button thing. I defended him for years, because Tony started attacking him while he was leading a team to the Finals. Not great timing on his part, but he was right. Subsequently, players influence you, and when players pull you aside and say, This guy is a clown. Hes never serious about his craft, you start to listen.
Kimmel then attempted to get Wilbon to tell him whether or not Kobe Bryant was one of the players who called Howard a clown and, while Wilbon was unwilling to confirm or deny it, the look on his face did suggest that Kobe may have been one of those players, even though Wilbon was quick to say, Not necessarily.

Johnny Depp Spoofs Donald Trump in Epic "Funny or Die" Biopic
This is gonna be uge! Fresh off of the news thatJohnny Depp will be stepping into the unseeable shoes of Universals The Invisible Man, word of an even bigger role has emerged. It turns out that Depp played current Republican frontrunner for President, Donald Trump, in a lost film. Supposedly directed by Trump in the 80s and based on his bestselling book The Art of the Deal, this Funny or Die movie is period-appropriate from Trumps hairdo to his unending hubris. Its easily my favorite performance from Depp in years, probably because his over-the-top style and spot-on Trump impression are played so perfectly. The folks over at Funny or Die originally filmed this in December, wanting to keep it hush-hushin order to get it together quickly before the Trump fad burned out; with Trump winning the New Hampshire primary last night, it looks like the joke might really be on them.

David Fry is the last remaining occupant inside the refuge. The other three militants have already surrendered to authorities. Fry is currently refusing to leave. He is saying his grievances have yet to beheard.

Gavin Seim is live streaming a phone call with militants inside the Malheur refuge. They are speaking with Nevada State Rep. Michele Fiore who says her and Rev. Franklin Graham are approaching the refuge with three FBIagents.
Last night, occupiers agreed to leave the refuge if Graham and Fiore were allowed to accompanythem.
OPB also confirmed Thursday morning that Blaine Cooper, a key member of the occupation who later fled, was arrested by authorities. You dont have any idea what were going through, said his wife MelissaCooper.
Seims live stream offers a window into the negotiations taking place between occupants andofficials.
Militants are on edge as they prepare to possibly surrender. If they double cross, all deals are off, said armed occupier Sean Anderson. He added that the four remaining militants are currently unarmed and plan to stayunarmed.

Possible Surrender: The four remaining occupiers at the wildlife refuge said they would surrender to the FBI Thursdaymorning.
Occupier Sean Anderson said the four will set their weapons aside and turn themselves in at 8 a.m. if Nevada state Assemblywoman Michele Fiore meets them at the gates of the refuge. Fiore agreed to that plan during a conversation with the militants streamed live online Wednesdaynight.
Fiore, who has a relationship with the Bundy family, landed at the Portland airport earlier in theevening.

A possible resolution to the 41-day occupation came after a night of often tense negotiations between militants, the FBI, Fiore andothers.
The FBI has not confirmed the Thursday morning surrender will takeplace.
OPB learned that militant David Frys increasingly erratic behavior caused the FBI to surround the compound Wednesdayevening.
Law enforcement said in a press release they saw one occupier drive an ATV outside barricades established by the militants. An official speaking on background confirmed that person wasFry.
The FBI also said agents attempted to approach Fry when he passed the barricade, but Fry sped back toward the militantscamp.
Occupiers later placed a call to media personality Gaven Seim, who has posted YouTube videos throughout the occupation in support of the militants. Seim streamed the call liveonline.
The occupiers could be heard screaming at the FBI and each other throughout thecall.
The streamed call at one point reached nearly 70,000viewers.
Militants grew aware of their large audience as the night went on. They ranted about subjects ranging from Common Core to Hillary Clinton andObamacare.
Fry, Anderson, his wife Sandy Anderson, and Jeff Banta have all been indicted on federal conspiracy charges as a result of the refugetakeover.
Cliven Bundy Arrested: Around 11 p.m. Wednesday, law enforcement detained Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy at the Portland airport. Hes the father of occupant leaders Ammon and Ryan Bundy, who remain in Multnomah County Jail. It is unknown how the move might affect negotiations withmilitants.
Cliven Bundy will make an initial appearance in federal court in Portland today at 1:30 p.m. Bundy told OPB earlier in the week that he planned to come to Portland to bring attention to his two sons being held in jail, but didnt want to publicize the date he planned toarrive.
Ammon Bundys lawyer, Mike Arnold of Arnold Law in Eugene, said he was surprised law enforcement moved on Cliven Bundy.
Im wondering whos in charge, Arnold said. Im sort of in frustrated disbelief right now that theres someone in the federal government right now who thought it was a good idea to arrest Cliven Bundy while (Nevada State Rep.) Michele Fiore was negotiating for the stand down at the refuge.
Bundy was detained under a U.S. Marshal hold and is facing federal charges. Bundy is expected to appear in federal court in Portland Thursday at 1:30p.m.
Refuge Remains Quiet Overnight: While there were heated negotiations Wednesday night, the early hours of Thursday morning remained cold andquiet.
From the FBI checkpoint on the road leading to the wildlife refuge, there was no sign that plans for the militants to surrender at 8 a.m. Thursday hadchanged.
However, online discussion of the refuge occupation did continue through thenight.
Around 4 a.m. Thursday morning, famed evangelist Franklin Graham, son of Billy Graham, posted on his Facebook that he was traveling to Burns to help negotiate an end to thestandoff.
Last night I was on the phone with (the occupiers) for several hours, was able to have prayer with them, and they have said they would come out today, Graham wrote. I am on my way there and hope to be there by 7:00 AM theirtime.

When world football phenom Pel called it "the beautiful game" back in the "50s, football (or soccer for the US folks) was just barely being broadcast in color.
The sport and the technology to watch it has come a long way since then, going from bulky CRT TVs to insanely thin flat panels that are capable of over a billion colors.
Tomorrow the evolution in watching the beautiful game takes its next step during a friendly between Mexico and Senegal that will be broadcast in Ultra-High Definition.
The game, which takes place in Miami, Florida, will be tested on Sony 4K TVs by a company called NeuLion, which is responsible for broadcasting 4K streams over the internet and has recently been used by both the NBA and BT Sport to stream Ultra HD content.
What makes the game so special is that it"s part of a growing trend of 4K broadcasts, something multiple providers are interested in - DISH even has the technology to do so - but until networks get on board, 4K content will remain in the realm of online streaming.
The match-up starts at 8 pm ET (5 pm PT) on Wednesday, February 10 (or 1am GMT).
YouTube Red, the new subscription service from YouTube, goes live today, February 10, with YouTube also announcing new projects.
Launching with its first three original films, "A Trip To Unicorn Island", "Dance Camp" and "Lazer Team", and an original series, "Scare PewDiePie", YouTube have also revealed that it has two new projects launching later this year.

One of these projects will be a documentary by two-time Academy Award winner Barbara Kopple about YouTube creator and transgender woman Gigi Gorgeous. The second is set to be an original series entitled "Foursome" which focuses on a group of best friends navigating their way through high school.
YouTube have also revealed that there are four more original series currently in the development stages. YouTube Red can be accessed here, however the service is currently only available in the US.
