Skandal an einer Schule in Houston (Texas). Lehrerin Alexandria Vera ist untergetaucht und wird per Haftbefehl gesucht.
Bei einer Vernehmung vor wenigen Tagen hatte die 24-Jhrige nicht nur gestanden, ber Monate ein Liebesverhltnis mit einem Schler gehabt zu haben. Sondern auch, dass sie von ihm schwanger geworden ist. Der Schler war zu dem Zeitpunkt 13 Jahre alt.
Alles sei einvernehmlich geschehen, hatte Alexandria Vera spter behauptet. Auch die Eltern des Jungen htten von der Affre gewusst. Sie htten zuletzt sogar erlaubt, dass ihr Sohn bei der Englischlehrerin bernachtete.
Damit Mitschler und auch die Vorgesetzten an der Stovall Middle School keinen Wind von der Sache bekamen, hatte Vera ihn nach eigener Aussage immer morgens zum Elternhaus zurckgefahren, so dass er den Schulbus mit seinen Mitschlern nicht verpasste, heit im polizeilichen Ermittlungsprotokoll, aus dem die Zeitung Houston Chronicle zitiert.
Trotzdem war die Sache aufgeflogen und zunchst eine interne Untersuchung durch die Schule angelaufen. Als dann auch noch Vertreter des Jugendamtes ttig wurden, und sie in der Schule zum Verhr baten, hatte Vera sich nach eigenen Angaben heimlich einer Abtreibung unterzogen, und die Affre abgestritten.
Allerdings ergab die Auswertung ihrer Telefonliste, dass sie nach dem Unterricht fast tglich in ihrer Wohnung zusammen waren. Als die Polizei sie jetzt mit zur Wache nehmen wollte, war ihre Wohnung leer. Alexandria Vera wird wegen Kindesmissbrauchs landesweit gesucht.

The Ministry of Health has begun to prepare for the possibility of babies being born with microcephaly arising from mothers being infected with the Zika virus (ZIKV) during pregnancy.
Microcephaly is a birth defect in which a baby is born with a small head.
These babes can also develop mental conditions that can impair their development.
Director of Emergency, Disaster Management and Special Services in the Ministry, Dr Melody Ennis, says the health ministry, as part of its response to ZIKV, is turning its attention to looking at measures to treat children with microcephaly in the event the country records such a cases.
Ennis says the response programme would also look at providing psycho-social support to families with a baby affected by the condition.

She was speaking today at a press conference and prayer breakfast for the launch of Disaster Preparedness Month 2016.
There have been reports of a suspected case of a pregnant woman being diagnosed with the Zika virus, but the health ministry has declined to comment on the matter.
The ministry has since called a press conference for tomorrow on ZIKV to update the country.
Health Minister, Dr Christopher Tufton, told our news centre that the number of ZIKV cases has increased to 15.

A lot of hook-ups happened at Drake"s Memorial Day bash.

Drake apparently got lucky, too. He and model Hailey Baldwin, who previously dated Justin Bieber, were reportedly all over each other at the rapper"s party at his Hidden Hills estate.
The next night, the two were photographed going out for a dinner at a West Hollywood hotspot. Being photographed together in public by the paparazzi is one form of a Hollywood coming out.
TMZ says Drake, previously connected to Rihanna, and Baldwin arrived at The Nice Guy around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday. They got a table with another couple, and the group ordered shots.

While Baldwin spent some time staring at her phone, she and Drake supposedly were cozy enough that it was clear they were on a date, TMZ said.
The New York Daily News says neither Drake nor Baldwin have responded to reports of a romance but she did sort of refer to Drake"s "Summer Sixteen" lyric with a recent Instagram caption: "summer 15.

Jan Crouch, the pink-haired televangelist who helped found Trinity Broadcasting Network, which owns the Holy Land Experience theme park in Orlando, has died, according to her son.

The Christian television network tweeted the news of her death Tuesday morning. Crouch had been taken to an Orlando-area hospital after suffering a "significant" stroke Wednesday, it said.
"Laurie and I have just watched the transition of our precious Mother from this world to the next; watched her step into the presence of Jesus and into her heavenly reward. Jan Crouch, known around the world as Momma Jan, has gone home," her son, Matt Crouch, said in a statement on he and his wife"s official website.
According to a released obituary, Crouch, whose full name is Janice Wendell Bethany Crouch, passed away after a short illness at the age of 78.
Crouch met her husband, Paul, while in college, then both served in pastoral ministry. In the 1960s, the pair headed to California and became trailblazers in Christian television, launching TBN. The network grew into what"s called the world"s largest Christian TV network, and the Crouches became international sensations.
In 2007, Jan Crouch and her husband took over the failing Holy Land Experience, nestled along I-4 by Conroy Road, and turned it into an Orlando mainstay.
The religious theme park, which opened in February 2001, is required to offer one free day per year in order to qualify for property tax exemptions as a religious entity. The late-February free day often fills the park.
The California-based TBN, which owns the park, saves about $300,000 each year in Orange County tax exemptions.
However, TBN wasn"t without its controversies, drawing criticism over its prosperity gospel and investigations into its finances.
Paul Crouch died ofdegenerative heart disease in 2013.

SummerSlam 2016 is nearly three months away, but the card for WWEs second-biggest show is already falling into place. With Money in the Bank fast approaching and the returns of both Seth Rollins and John Cena already things of the past, the card for Aug. 21 in Brooklyn is shaping up to be even better than that of WrestleMania 32.
John Cena is back, and he is all but guaranteed to be in one of the biggest matches on the card. However, this could be the first time in a few years that he doesnt fight for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam. Hes been in the title match every year since 2011, but it will likely be WWEs new group of stars that close out the show this time around.
A lot can change in the coming months, and much is still to be determined with the impending brand split. But its looking like WWE hasa few SummerSlam matches already mapped out.

Cena and Styles will certainly have a match in the near future after Styles and The Club attacked Cena upon his return to Monday Night Raw. In his few months in WWE, Styles quickly became one of the companys most popular babyfaces. But WWE signed him in large part because of the work he did in New Japan as a heel, and he has a chance to become one of WWEs top villains. Their match should be the biggest on the card, other than the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match.

Its the match that should have been the main event of WrestleMania 31 or WrestleMania 32, had it not been for an injury to Seth Rollins. Rollins will challenge Roman Reigns for the title at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view on June 19, where Dean Ambrose will competein the ladder match for the right to earn a title shot. Look for Ambrose to win the ladder match, setting up a triple threat match among all three members of The Shield at Barclays Center.
Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn

The Owens vs. Zayn feud is the oldest one in WWE, dating back to NXT a year and a half ago. Theyve already faced each other in a singles match at Payback, but they are likely headed towards a bigger match at SummerSlam, one with more on the line. Zayn has a claim to an IntercontinentalTitle match since it was his Helluva Kick to Cesaro that led to The Mizs pinfall at Extreme Rules, though it wouldn"t be surprising to see Owens regain the belt in the coming weeks. Whether its a title match ora match with some sort of stipulation, it only makes sense that Owens and Zayn will face off one more time.
Brock Lesnar vs. Bray Wyatt

It looked like Lesnar and Wyatt would face off earlier in 2016, but that match never came to fruition. They didnt fight at WrestleMania 32, as was rumored, and when they were supposed to have a match at WWE Roadblock, it ended up being Lesnar vs. Luke Harper, with Bray never getting involved. Both wrestlers have been off TV since April, and with no other likely opponents on the roster, their feud should finally reach a conclusion at SummerSlam.

Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson have teamed with Styles to become the biggest heel faction in WWE, and they could quickly find themselves in the title picture. The Club attacked The New Day on Monday, and a match between the two teams will happen sooner rather than later. The only question involves how many teams will be involved in the match, and it wouldnt be surprising to see a multi-team tag match at SummerSlam.

WWE has kept Sasha off TV in many of the weeks following her loss at WrestleMania 32, but that doesnt mean she wont be re-inserted into the title picture. Shes the most popular wrestler in the womens division, and WWE is likely planning to have her face Charlotte at SummerSlam. In the meantime, Charlotte will continue to look strong with pay-per-view wins against the likes of Becky Lynch, Natalya and others.

The former Saturday Night Live veteran broke out her classic impression for her new NBC variety show with Martin Short, Maya & Marty.
In the sketch from Tuesday"s premiere episode, Rudolph"sMelaniawas selling diamonds that can be eaten, because wearing a bunch at once is just not enough.
We love diamond, but we all ask ourselves, why can we not eat it? Not anymore, you can with Melanias Edible Diamonds. Give yourself the gift of it," the fauxMelania says, adding in a monotone voice that her edible diamonds can now be added to all your foods to eat in your mouth.

"Ted would be very mad if he knew I were here,"McKinnon"s Cruz said. She then asked Rudolph"sMelania to pronounce different words because she liked her accent.
