How Uruguay"s Anger with the Referee Lost the Match with Mexico

Mexico vs Uruguay 3-1 - AutoGol de Pereira - Copa America Centenario - 05/Junio/2016

The 2016 Copa America Centenario has finally woken up! Late Sunday night, Mexico battled Uruguay, with El Tri ultimately coming away with a 3-1 victory. The match certainly wasnt without controversy, as Uruguays Matias Vecino and Mexicos Andres Guardado both earned red cards. There was also a disallowed goal and a Mexico assistant coach sent off for criticizing the referee (to put it mildly).

And yet, all that paled in comparison to the scenes before and after Rafa Marquezs 85th minute goal, which put Mexico ahead 2-1. The sequence prior to the Mexico legends strike proves the importance of maintaining a level head and the complete stupidity of arguing with the referee.

In this instance, it was Uruguays focus on the officials performance rather than their own that cost them the match. Heres what happened

Julianne hosted the show alongside Terrence J and she looked looked stunning in her silver gown! The sparkling dress was simply show-stopping as it highlighted Juliannes svelte frame and put her toned shoulders on display. It added an extra dose of sexy to the red carpet, thanks to the sexy slit on one side that allowed her to show some leg. Ankle-strap sandals elongated her frame and polished off the look perfectly and she had a nice bronze glow!

The blonde beauty was beaming when she stepped out for the show as she wore her short hair down in a voluminous blowout, perfectly polishing off the glam look.

"Deadwood" Movie Might Finalize By Late 2016, Says Ian McShane

Davos from Game of Thrones on Ian McShane"s Spoilers

Deadwood boss David Milch supposedly has stacks of scripts ready to go for an all-but-greenlit HBO revival, but hasnt yet finalized a deal with the cable network, especially after its recent regime change. That said, series star Ian McShane is still more than game to return, suggesting a deal might be finalized as early as late 2016.

Currently busy with shooting Starzs American Gods (dont forget a quick trip to Westeros in Sundays Game of Thrones), McShane told Entertainment Weekly of undaunted interest in returning to the iconically profane role of Al Swearengen, whenever the movie should come together. McShane wondered if the movie might leap ahead a decade, after the famous historical fire, pointing out that creator David Milch was supposed to have a deal with HBO (or perhaps even shoot) sometime in the next year:

Of course Id love to reprise that. How could one not, when it was snatched away rather unjustly by a combination of forces well never know about hubris or money or whatever. But [Deadwood] certainly finished too early. At the time, most of us working on the show were incredulous. Its been announced by HBO so its not like Im saying it. I know for a fact David is working on the script. Its been 10 years since it finished. [Star Timothy Olyphants] free from Justified.

Im hoping theyll make the deal soon, for two or four hours, whatever they decide on. It was a very close knit group of actors on it. We got along very well. Im sure David will decide to set it 10 years later, after the great fire or whatever happened in Deadwood. They havent done the deal yet. They [were planning]to do it late this year or early next year.

Of course, itd still be up to Milch to gather the prolific cast (sadly without Ralph Richeson), which in three seasons included Justified lead Timothy Olyphant, Fear The Walking Dead lead Kim Dickens, Jessica Jones alum Robin Weigert, Breaking Bad breakout Anna Gunn, Paula Malcolmson, Molly Parker, and many more. The series also featured early guest spots for Parks and Recreation favorite Nick Offerman (take caution Googling that one), and even a young Kristen Bell.

For those unaware, HBOs Deadwood ran from 2004 to 2006, showcasing the rise of Deadwood, South Dakota from frontier gold prospecting camp to fully-annexed territory.

Milchs current HBO work with Shadow Country will take precedence over a Deadwood movie, but could the official greenlight come later this year?

NY. man wins Nathan"s Hot Dog contest at Pocono Raceway

GREEN GREEN GREEN!!!!!!...Pocono Raceway,Aug.5th,2012,The Pennsylvania 400
The winner of the Nathan"s Hot Dog eating contest at Pocono Raceway came down to half a hot dog.Eric Booker of Selden, New York qualified for the National Hot Dog competition that will be held on July 4 at Coney Island. The 10-minute feat had Booker eating 23 hot dogs. Before the event, Booker took some time to rap for the audience, showing that his skills don"t all lie in eating, even though the raps were mainly about food.About 400 hot dogs were grilled up for the field that included rookies and veterans of the eating contest circuit.Veteran William Myers of Allentown, said though his numbers aren"t great, he keeps trying. He will do between 13 and 18 contests through the year. Recently, he took part in a Peeps eating contest in Washington D.C. Other contests he"ll do this year include pepperoni rolls, chicken spiedie and slug burgers. To get through the contest, many of the eaters had their own drinks to help get the food down better, from water flavorings to Gatorade and iced-tea.Rookie Tom Serpico of Whitehall, was notified last week that he would be part of the contest."I got put on the wait list," he said, adding he was excited to be part of the experience. "My goal is to stay consistent (and) eat as many as I can."Realistically, he was hoping for 10 to 12 hot dogs. The hot dog eating contest was preceded by a short question and answer session with Richard Petty, a seven-time championship winner in NASCAR.The contest was only one aspect of the fan fair area that was not as crowded with fans because of the wet and foggy weather.Almost cutting the fan fair in half was the Wall of Remembrance on the Global War on Terror. This is not the first time the wall was at the track, as it was damaged in 2012 in a strong storm that came through the area. The wall was destroyed and it has taken four years and $60,000 to repair the wall, said Richard Nichols, director and chairman of the Rare Area Support Foundation, which built the wall.He said coming back to Pocono Raceway set a timeline for them to finish fixing the wall.On one side the wall was a timeline, starting at April 1983 with the U.S Embassy bomb attack and runs through February and North Korea"s launch of a long range rocket. The other side of the wall has a list of the 11,000 names of those that were lost during the wars and terror attacks."It"s a constant reminder to stay vigilant," Nichols said. The rainy weather chased away fans as the race was postponed to Monday. Tammy and Marissa Marsh from Walnutport said it was a bummer to have to go back home without getting laps in on Sunday. To pass the time, the two went through the tents, finding the freebies, as well as buying shirts.Marissa Marsh had been up at the track every day during the weekend and will back again Monday at noon. Those from further away, such as Melissa and Robert Oliver from New York were at Pocono for Melissa"s birthday. The pair were disappointed the race didn"t happen Sunday, but said they would be back Monday and stay the night in the area.
