Amy Schumer Is "Disappointed" In Show Writer and Friend Kurt Metzger Over His Comments on Sexual Assault

Amy Schumer has spoken out about her disappointment over one of her show writer"s controversial comments about rape.

In a now-deleted Facebook post, Kurt Metzger who has worked as a writer on Inside Amy Schumer criticized women who claim to have been raped, but do not report it to the police.

"I am so saddened and disappointed in Kurt Metzger," Schumer tweeted in response to the Inside Amy Schumer writer. "He is my friend and a great writer and I couldn"t be more against his recent actions."

Metzger"s post, obtained in a screenshot by Medium.com, joked about the topic as he wrote that declaring someone is a rapist without evidence is "like hammering the nails into Jesus My Lord"s feet! Or re-raping the victim"s good hole. Or asking for proof in a murder trial!"

As fans responded to Schumer"s tweet, questions about Metzger"s employment continued to come up, prompting the actress who recently revealed she was a victim of sexual assault to later tweet, "Kurt does not work for me. He is not a writer on my show. Please stop asking me about it. His words are not mine."

Metzger"s most recent writing credit on the show is from an April episode.

Metzger responded in a series of social media posts defending his position on the topic, saying that he wasn"t victim blaming and that the people who are accusing him of doing so are missing the point that he was simply asking for more information.

"Sorry for spreading so much HATE by merely asking ANY QUESTIONS before I join your mob! Can u please accept my apology," he wrote, adding in other tweets, "Wouldn"t blame a victim for trying to destroy an attacker"s rep Notice I didn"t declare guilt or innocence on this dude? I merely stated that the idea of an "internal ucb [Upright Citizen"s Brigade] investigation" is f---ed."

Metzger continued his defense on Facebook and will discuss the issue in an interview on Race Wars on Sirius XM"s Opie Radio on Wednesday night.

Khabib Nurmagomedov is a terrifying man, and on Tuesday he sent a chilling message to Conor McGregor. However, to the likely relief of many McGregor fans, the harrowing threat contained in the Dagestani fighters tweet was not actually aimed at the UFC featherweight champion.

Nurmagomedov is currently the UFCs top-ranked lightweight contender, but ever since Eddie Alvarez got his destructive hands on the 155-pound belt, the undefeated sambo stylists chances of getting a title shot seem to have gotten slimmer and slimmer.

Thats because Alvarez has set his sights on the winner of this weekends huge rematch between McGregor and Nate Diaz, whomever that may turn out to be. At every opportunity, the Philadelphia native has called out the two men and tossed derision in their direction, with The Notorious Irishman seemingly the main target of his taunts.

Alvarez says he just wants a lucrative showdown, acknowledging that fighters only have a limited time in which to accumulate cash, and thus he is taking aim at the two biggest names in or around his division. But in Khabibs eyes, the new champion is a chicken, intent on avoiding him and taking on supposedly less dangerous opposition.

With Alvarez unaffected by these attacks on his manhood, Nurmagomedov turned his attention to McGregor. The Eagle first took a pop at the 28-year-old Pay-per-view star over his March defeat to Diaz, before warning him to stay off that path to the lightweight title.

But it was Alvarez who was the subject of the disturbing imagery that followed.

The UFC 202 press conference with Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz got a little nuts

It started with McGregor turning up around half an hour late, saying he believed the press conference was supposed to begin at 1.30 Vegas time.

Diaz, Dana White, Anthony Johnson and GloverTeixeira had been answering press questions, when Diaz stormed off with his crew a few minutes after McGregor arrived and apparently threw the first bottle.

The fight takes place this Sunday morning on BT Sports. The main card begins at 3am, with McGregor and Diaz headlining as the last fight on the card.

If clowns were considered nightmare fuel before, a new but somewhat familiar face has just been added to the canister. Entertainment Weekly premiered the first look atBill Skarsgrds Pennywise in the upcoming two-part feature film adaptation of Stephen Kings classic novel It. Directed by Mama helmer Andrs Muschietti, part one is expected to hit theaters on September 8, 2017.

Skarsgrd also shared some insight into his take on the character telling EW, It truly enjoys the shape of the clown Pennywise, and enjoys the game and the hunt.Whats funny to this evil entity might not be funny to everyone else. But he thinks its funny. The young actor sang the praises of Tim Currys onscreen portrayal that came before him in the TV miniseries from the 90s saying, Tim Currys performance was truly great, but its important for me to do something different because of that.Ill never be able to make a Tim Curry performance as good as Tim Curry.

One way that we knowSkarsgrds portrayal will be different is the actors age adding an extra layer of discomfort to the idea of a young man hunting young children. When Will Poulter was announced to play the role in Cary Fukunagas now-scrapped interpretation, we at Nerdist loved the choice of going young for the role, something that the producers clearly wanted to stick with by casting the 25-year-old actor. Theres a childishness to the character, because hes so closely linked to the kids.The clown is the manifestation of childrens imaginations, so theres something child-like about that.

The agonizing moment a Japanese pole vaulter probably wished he had a smaller p***s happened just as he attempted to clear the bar at 5.3 meters. Instead of gliding over, he knocked it with his manhood.

It was a bit of an, ahem, b***s up for Hiroki Ogita, who was participating in the Rio 2016 final. His Olympic dreams were similarly crushed when his p***s smacked off the pole.

His leg initially touched the bar, leading it to wobble slightly, but ultimately it was his p***s that whacked off the pole on his first attempt. On his second try, he eventually cleared the bar but failed to make the cut for the finals after finishing in 21st place.

Ogitas pink lycra bottoms did him no favors; he was seen grimacing in pain when he fell onto the mat.

Though it was a sad moment for Ogita, the incident didnt stop Twitter from having the last laugh.
