Dancing With the Stars Season 23 will see the return of pro dancer Derek Hough!

Hough took to Facebook to confirm that he will be back for another season of the ABC dance reality show on Monday, Aug. 29. In his post, he shared that his Broadway show Singin in the Rain has been delayed, freeing up his schedule for Dancing With the Stars Season 23.

I"m a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. This fall, I was planning on being immersed in rehearsals for Singin" in the Rain on Broadway, but due to successes of the shows currently running, that project has been delayed because there simply isn"t a theatre available. Singin" in the Rain is still very much part of my future plans, he wrote.With my fall schedule freeing up I"m excited to say that I"ll be back on Dancing with the Stars for Season 23. It"s always great to be back with my DWTS family, coaching, creating and making lasting memories."

The professional dancer and choreographer also expressed his gratitude toward Hairspray Live! for giving him the push to return to the ABC show. Hough was previously announced to be joining the cast of NBCs production of Hairspray Live! as variety show host Corny Collins.

I"m grateful to everyone at Hairspray LIVE! for enabling me to do double duty on two major productions at the same time this fall. It"s going to be a challenge that I"m looking forward to, he continued in his Facebook statement. This next year is gonna be JAM packed with exciting projects and I can"t wait to share it ALL with you. Are you guys ready to MOVE?

Since joining Dancing With the Stars in Season 5, Hough has been crowned the winner six times alongside his celebrity partners. He took home the Mirrorball Trophy with formerDancing With the Stars co-host Brooke Burke, Nicole Scherzinger, Dirty Dancing star Jennifer Grey, American Idol alum Kellie Pickler,Glee alumAmber Riley and Bindi Irwin, Entertainment Weekly noted.

His sister Julianne Hough, who announced her exit from Dancing With the Stars last year, has yet confirm whether or notshe will be back this season. The pro dancer served as a judge on the show from Season 19 to 21.

The celebritieswho will be partnering up with Hough and the other pros will be unveiled on Good Morning America on Tuesday, Aug. 30.Watch Hough and the rest of the cast when Dancing With the Stars Season 23 premieres Monday, Sept. 12 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.

Carol Kane says Gene Wilder gave her a "second chance" to act

At age 23, Carol Kane was fresh off a Best Actress Oscar nomination with no prospects on the horizon.

The phone hadnt rung for a year, she said. Then Gene Wilder called.

Out of the blue I got a call from Gene saying that hed like to meet me about The Worlds Greatest Lover," Kane said Monday. (It) was a comedy, which Id never done before. I have no idea why he thought I could do it, but he was a purist, he was kind of a poet and I met him and he asked me to do this movie with him.

Wilder, who died Sunday at 83, wrote, directed and starred in The Worlds Greatest Lover, about a baker (Wilder) and his wife (Kane) who move to Hollywood during the silent film era to enter a talent search for someone who might compete with Rudolph Valentino.

Remembering the genius that is Gene Wilder

Kane, 64, was only 25 by the time it wrapped, but getting that call from Wilder still felt to her like a second chance, she said.

She remembers Wilder being compassionate and inspirational as a director but serious and sensitive, too.

(He was) clearly one the great clowns the Chaplin of talkies in some ways, she said.

The Worlds Greatest Lover was not particularly well-received when it came out in 1977. Kane thinks it might not have gotten the right publicity.

It was a little under the radar unfortunately, she said. But I think that it holds up beautifully and that its lovely and funny and worth a second look.

Kane would stay in touch with Wilder on and off over the years, and she loved seeing the friendship of Wilder, Mel Brooks and Dom DeLuise (who also starred in The Worlds Greatest Lover as the studio mogul).

Wilder and Kane reunited in 2001 to perform in three classic one-act farces at the Westport Country Playhouse, but shell always remember the great significance of that phone call more than 40 years ago.

He was a gentle man and a gentleman a true, true artist, Kane said. We never saw anyone like him before or after.

Ryan Lochte Lands New Endorsement Deal Amid "Dancing With The Stars" 2016 Casting Rumors

Ryan Lochte mightstill be under investigation for his 2016 Rio Olympics robbery scandal, but it looks like the athlete"s days as a celebrity endorser are far from over.

The 12-time Olympic medalist has landed a new endorsement deal with Pine Bros. Softish Throat Drops, E! News has learned. The company"s CEO, Rider McDowell, reportedly offered the deal to the 32-year-old swimmerfollowing his scandal and released a statement asking the public to be "a little more understandingeven forgivingof the young American swimmer."

"We all make mistakes, but they"re rarely given front-page scrutiny. He"s a great guy who has done in credible work with charities. I"m confident that Pine Bros. fans will support our decision to give Ryan a second chance," McDowell stated.

Lochte took to Instagram on Thursday to thank Pine Bros. after finalizing the deal."Thanks to all the folks at pine bros. for your confidence in me. I look forward to making you proud," he wrote.

This new endorsement deal comes after Lochtewas ditched by four of his sponsors, includingSpeedo, Polo Ralph Lauren, Gentle Hair Removal and mattress maker Airweave,following his robbery scandal,CNN reported. The swimmer came under fire last week after Rio de Janeiro officials revealed that he exaggerated a report than he and three of his teammates were robbed at gunpoint by police.

On Monday, Speedo released a statement after dropping Lochte, saying,"While we have enjoyed a winning relationship with Ryan for over a decade and he has been an important member of the Speedo team, we cannot condone behavior that is counter to the values this brand has long stood for. We appreciate his many achievements and hope he moves forward and learns from this experience."

The athletehas been indicted by Brazil police with false report of robbery, E! News reported Thursday. In a statement, officials announced thathewill be notified of the indictment so he can decide whether or not to seek defense council in Rio de Janeiro.

Despite his ongoing case, Lochte is reportedly joining the celebrity lineup for "Dancing With the Stars" Season 3, a source told USA Today Sports. Find out whether the athlete makes it to the show when the complete "Dancing With the Stars" Season 23 cast is announced on "Good Morning America" on Tuesday, Aug. 30.

Simone Biles may not be appearing on Season 23 of Dancing With the Stars after all. It was reported that the 19-year-old Olympic gymnast would be competing for the Mirror Ball trophy on the upcoming season of the ABC show, but Biles said in a recent interview that shes not sure if her busy schedule will allow it.

I would love to do Dancing With the Stars, but so far we have a three month tour after this Olympics, she told E! Online Friday. Im not sure if Ill have time. Even though Biles might not be able to fit the show into her schedule, the athlete did say that she would like to join the show in a future season. I would really love to do it in the spring if thats possible, she said.

Were sure Biles joining Dancing With the Stars in the spring would be OK with the shows producers. According to Us Weekly, the gymnast is the shows top Olympic pick. They would love to cast some Olympians if possible, a source said.

Other celebrities said to be joining the 2016 cast are Bachelorette star JoJo Fletcher and former Disney Channel actor Jake T. Austin. Emma Samms, from General Hospital, also teased that fans may see her dancing across the ballroom on Season 23. A few weeks ago, Samms tweeted that she had some good news to share but she couldnt say anything yet. Dancing With the Stars host Tom Bergeron responded to the tweet, writing: Youre such a tease!

As far as which pro dancers will be back for another shot at the coveted trophy, the official Dancing With the Stars Twitter page has been sharing photos and videos of the pros practicing for the premiere. Us Weekly also reported that Allison Holker will be returning after taking last season off to have a baby.

Dancing With the Stars will announce the Season 23 cast on Good Morning America Tuesday, Aug. 30, and the season premiere kicks off Monday, Sept. 12 at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.

Darrell Ward, star of the History channels Ice Road Truckers, tragically died at age 52 in a plane crash near Rock Creek, Montana. According to KPAX Channel 8, the reality personality was one of two victims who passed away in the fatal aircraft accident.

Confirmation of the devastating news came in a press release posted to Wards Facebook page late Sunday night.

Darrell Ward had just left The Great American Truck Show in Dallas, Texas, where he enjoyed meeting numerous fans and friends and was heading to Missoula to begin filming a pilot for his new documentary style show involving the recovery of plane wrecks when he and his co-pilot crashed and lost their lives, the statement read. An investigation is ongoing and more information will be made available at a later time as the National Transportation Safety Board will be handling they investigation.

The press release went on to say that the self-proclaimed adrenaline junkie who had more than thirty years of highway trucking experience and enjoyed log hauling and fighting forest fires left behind his kids and grandkids, whom he loved most.

Trucking has always been a large part of Darrells life; from running the harvest rigs with his grandparents and family, to driving trucks from Montana to Alaska and all roads in between, the release continued. In his free time, you could usually find Darrell giving back to the community any chance he got, he had promoted the most recent food drive to help victims in the Louisiana Floods and was scheduled to appear as the grand marshal for the Truck Convoy for Special Olympics in Nova Scotia.

The History channel took to Facebook on Monday morning to share their condolences for Ward. We are saddened by the tragic loss of Darrell Ward, a beloved member of the HISTORY family, the network wrote. He will be greatly missed and our thoughts are with his family during this difficult time.

The 10th season of Ice Road Truckers, which includes Ward and his partner, Lisa Kelly, premiered on August 4. The late adventure-seeker quickly became a fan favorite on the docuseries because of his fearless attitude and his penchant for helping other truckers out even his rivals.

Missoula County Sheriffs Deputy Ryan Dunster told KPAX Channel 8 that an investigation regarding the cause of the wreck is underway. Funeral plans have not yet been announced.

Comcast wins FCC ruling over Liberman"s discrimination complaint

The FCC has decided in favor of Comcast in a programming dispute with Spanish-language broadcaster Liberman Broadcasting.

The agency ruled, essentially, that Liberman is not a video programming vendor seeking a carriage deal for its Estrella TV. The company is actually a broadcaster, the FCC said, whose signal is carried on broadcast retransmission licensing.

Liberman filed its complaint with the FCC after Comcast pulled Estrella from its program guide in Houston, Denver and Salt Lake City in February. In its discrimination complaint, Liberman accused Comcast of favoring its Spanish-language NBCUniversal assets, Telemundo and NBC Universo.

"While it could be argued that Liberman is engaged in the "production, creation, or wholesale distribution of video programming for sale" to the extent it seeks compensation from Comcast for carriage of its television broadcast stations, it is in fact negotiating compensation for the retransmission of its television broadcast "signal" rather than carriage of the "video programming" contained within that signal," the FCC said in its order.

Liberman said its considering an appeal.

We are disappointed by todays decision from the FCCs Media Bureau, which dismissed LBIs complaint on a narrow technicality relating to standing," Liberman said in a statement.

"Obviously, we disagree with the Media Bureaus interpretation of the relevant statutes. But more importantly, this technical decision in no way absolves Comcast of the underlying wrongdoing of discrimination against Estrella TV as an independent programmer."

In its own statement, Comcast said, "Liberman Broadcastings carriage complaint had no basis in law and was simply an attempt to extract carriage of Estrella TV and fees from Comcast that are in no way justified."
