PLAYSTATION NETWORK DOWN SERVERS CRASH WEBSITE MAINTENANCE PSN PS4 PS3 HACKED (US) 9/1/2016
PlayStation and PSP owners can now enable two-factor authentication on their PlayStation Network accounts, adding a much-needed layer of protection to a service that has suffered severe security breaches in recent years. Sony confirmed that users would be able to activate two-factor authentication on their accounts in a tweet last night that linked to a new security page that explains how the process works. Users who choose to activate the safety measure will receive codes via SMS that they"ll need to input alongside their password and username as before.
It"s a welcome move by Sony, but it"s come conspicuously late a full five years after the company suffered adevastating hack that compromised the personal details of 77 million PSN users. Rival Microsoft started offering two-factor authentication for its online accounts (including Xbox Live)more than three years ago, and Sony has facedcontinuous criticism from PlayStation owners for not doing enough to stop account hijacking. Two-factor authentication still isn"t totally hack-proof, but it does offer an extra layer of account security that might stop nefarious forces from getting their hands on all your games, making it a good idea to enable as soon as possible.
#10 Florida State Headlines ACC Teams in Initial AP Top 25 | ACC Now
We"ve already see how other national polls have reacted to Week 1 upsets and surprises. The Coaches Poll was particularly kind to Texas-based teams and now the AP Top 25 has shown an affinity for Washington, which checks in at No. 8 after handling Rutgers 48-13.
Alabama is still No. 1 and received 54 of 61 possible first-place votes followed by No. 2 Clemson (two), No. 3 Florida State (four), No. 4 Ohio State and No. 5 Michigan (one). Wisconsin, meanwhile, surged to No. 10 after beating LSU, which fell to No. 21.
Similar to the Coaches Poll, the AP voters are also high on No. 6 Houston, No. 11 Texas and No. 20 Texas A&M, all of which came up with big wins this past weekend. UCLA, which fell to the Aggies, dropped out of the top 25. Florida also fell from the top 25 despite beating UMass 24-7. Miami took its place.
If you want even more teams ranked, check out the updated CBS Sports 128. Here"s how the AP Top 25 looks from top to bottom.
Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston have called it quits after just three months of dating!
We can"t say we"re super shocked to hear the short-lived relationship is over considering the 35-year-old actor reportedly wanted things to be way more public than Tay was ready for and it turns out the Sparks Fly singer is the one who ended things for good.
Multiple insiders tell Us Weekly:
"She was the one to put the brakes on the relationship. Tom wanted the relationship to be more public than she was comfortable with. Taylor knew the backlash that comes with public displays of affection but Tom didn"t listen to her concerns when she brought them up. [Hiddleston is now] embarrassed that the relationship fizzled out."
Quiz: How Well Do You Know Taylor Swift?
What a whirlwind!
Another source blames the swiftness (pun intended) of the relationship just two week"s after the pop star"s breakup from Calvin Harris for their failed momentum:
"It was an intense start. No one can keep that kind of momentum going. They get along great and will remain friends, but they just don"t see it working romantically right now."
So much for that!
People has also confirmed the split, but provided no additional details.
Thoughts???

#10 Florida State Headlines ACC Teams in Initial AP Top 25 | ACC Now
CBS Miami: Twitter | Facebook
As Miami fans continue to feel quite content with the Hurricanes 70-3 season-opening win over Florida A&M University, the team got some good news Tuesday afternoon thatll keep fans smiling.
UM entered the Associated Press Top 25 poll Tuesday, earning the No. 25 spot in the week two release.
Defending National champ Alabama remained in the No. 1 spot; followed a pair of ACC teams Clemson at No. 2 and Florida State, who rallied from a 22-point deficit on Monday night to defeat Ole Miss, at No. 3.
The Hurricanes are the only other ACC team on the list; the Big Ten has five teams in the latest AP Poll headlined by rivals Ohio State (No. 4) and Michigan (No. 5) and Wisconsin jumping to No. 10 after defeating LSU, which fell to No. 21.
UM was not ranked in the USA Today Coaches Poll, which was released earlier Tuesday, but it was one of the leading vote-getters.
For Miami, earning a spot in the AP Top 25 is a nice accolade, not only for what the team did in its lopsided win over the Rattlers but also for the elevated level of expertise that the new coaching staff brings to the program.
After the game against FAMU and a couple days prior to the release of the rankings, Canes junior quarterback was asked about the team possibly earning a spot in the top 25.
Its cool to hopefully get into the top 25, Kaaya said. Being ranked is something that we havent been in a while. I dont remember a time that we were in the top 25 in the last couple yearsso thatd be awesome.
The last time the Hurricanes found themselves in the AP rankings was in 2013 when UM earned the No. 24 spot the week of November 10th when Kaaya was a senior in high school.
Miami, which will face a tougher test this Saturday when it hosts Florida Atlantic (6 p.m. kickoff at Hard Rock Stadium), looked like a different team than it had in years previous this past Sunday. Granted it was in one game against an inferior FCS-level opponent, there was a noticeable difference in the way the Canes went about winning the game.
Still, slipping into the backend of Top 25 rankings at the second week of the season is not Miamis ultimate goal.
For us, the plan is to keep going and not worry about the outside. I mean, the ranking would be nice but at the same time we cant just sit on that, Kaaya said postgame this past Saturday. If they rank us outside the top 25, if they rank us No. 25 or No. 24. It doesnt matter. We have guys who are still hungry and are still going to keep going.
Others receiving votes: Florida 117, UCLA 62, Boise State 50, Utah 43, San Diego State 37, North Carolina 23, Nebraska 13, Auburn 13, Pittsburgh 7, BYU 5, Navy 2, West Virginia 1, Colorado 1.
LIVE HD: Apple iPhone 7 Presentation Release Stream | Apple Keynote 2016
Is there anything as sweet as the beginning of fall? Starbucks reintroduces the Pumpkin Spice Latte, the Kansas City Chiefs still have a shot at the playoffs, and Apple announces another iPhone. Today we learn what"s next from the technology giant, with rumors pointing to the iPhone 7 and new variations on the Apple Watch.
The iPhone 7, or whatever Apple chooses to call the latest variation of its smartphone, may be a modest update. A better battery, an improved Touch ID button, a simpler antenna, and a faster processor are likely to be packed into the familiar iPhone design, while the iPhone 7 Plus may also get a dual-lens camera. The latter upgrade could improve image quality and low-light performance, and the two lenses could also allow the smartphone to use visual depth information for a number of novel photographic tricks.
The iPhone 7 is expected to have one less-than-appealing tweak: it may be the first Apple smartphone to ditchthe traditional headphone jack. Though perhaps the bigger concern for potential iPhone 7 owners is the early word on the iPhone 8. The next generation smartphone is unlikely to be mentioned at the event, butrumors about its flashy upgrades loom over its unreleased predecessor.

Some reports speculate that the new device will have built-in GPS, so it will be able to track runs and other activities more accurately when it"s not connected to an iPhone. TheApple Watch 2 is also rumored to feature a larger battery, possibly to power this addition.

There"s a small chance the revised MacBook Pro, which is rumored to have a "touchscreen strip," will appear. Though last monthBloomberg reported the revamped laptop will appear at a later date. So don"t get your hopes too high. Then again, if you just bought a new computer for school, it may feel nice knowing the hardware isn"t already outdated.
Of course Apple may surprise everyone with something entirely new and unexpected. Will we finally see a new Apple TV, a discrete Apple gaming system, or simply an official controller for Apple"s mobile devices? Don"t count on it, but feel free to dream, just as I dream of this year"s Kansas City Chiefs winning the Super Bowl as I take comfort in my sweet pumpkin-flavored coffee. Ah, the joys of fall!

MEXICO VS HONDURAS 0-0 EMPATE Resumen Eliminatoria (CONCACAF) RUSIA 2018 | 2016
ALFREDO ESTRELLA/Getty Images
Mexico entered Tuesday night"s 2018 CONCACAF World Cup qualifier against Honduras with the top spot in Group A locked up, and it played a fairly mundane game as the two sides played to a scoreless draw at Estadio Azteca in Mexico City.
By virtue of the tie and superior goal differential, Honduras finished second in Group A and advanced to the Hexagonal round of qualifying as it just edged out a Canadian side that dispatched El Salvador 3-1 on Tuesday night.
Here"s a look at the final Group A standings now that the fourth round of CONCACAF qualifying has come to a close:
As expected, Honduras came out with far more fire than the opposition in a game that amounted to nothing more than a formality for Mexico.
Seeking to put the clamps on the second spot in Group A, Honduras applied a few waves of attacking pressure throughout the first 25 minutes and outshot the Mexicans 5-1 in that span.
However, early runs and dead-ball opportunities yielded little in the way of quality chances, and the two sides entered halftime knotted at zero as neither side wielded a particularly strong sense of urgency.
ESPN FC"s Cesar Hernandez provided a concise overview of the game"s relatively uninspiring first frame:
Mexico ramped up its offensive energy over the first 10 minutes of the second half, and it showed whenHirving Lozano andAndres Guardado paced an attack that nearly found twine on several occasions and made Honduras start to sweat.
But despite El Tri"s best efforts, a go-ahead goal proved elusive, even though Honduras settled back and appeared to embrace a strategy that hinged on keeping things level at nil-nil.
And while that strategy provided some aesthetically displeasing results, it paid off for a side that had its eyes on the final round of World Cup qualifying.
Next up for Mexico is a meeting with the United States on Nov. 11.
After the U.S. squashed Trinidad and Tobago, 4-0, on Tuesday night at EverBank field to clinch the top spot in Group C, it earned the right to host Mexico in the opening game of Hex play when qualifying resumes in just over two months.
The bad news for El Tri is that the key clash will take place in Columbus, Ohio, where the U.S. is 4-0 against Mexico with all four victories coming by a 2-0 margin, according toSports Illustrated"s Grant Wahl.
And after Mexico defeated the Americans 3-2 at the Rose Bowl in the 2015 CONCACAF Cup, Jurgen Klinsmann"s side will undoubtedly be focused on exacting revenge behind the play of rising superstar Christian Pulisic.
