Natasha Bure, daughter of "Full House" (and "Fuller House") star Candace Cameron Bure, stepped on the stage for a blind audition on "The Voice" Monday night, and let"s just say she made mom very, very proud.

The elder Bure, 40, stood on the sidelines while Natasha crooned a confident "Can"t Help Falling in Love With You" for the coaches, convincing Adam Levine to punch his button and turn around.

"Shut up!" cried Bure backstage, ecstatic for her daughter, while standing alongside husband Valeri Bure, a former Russian hockey player.

Levine told her that the performance was "self-assured," noting, "There was something there that was really different and special."

But as he noted, "The second my chair turned around you had a little bit of a nervous breakdown." He advised her to work on getting her nerves together.

"My mind isn"t nervous but I think my body gets nervous," she told the coaches.

In the end, she earned a slot on Team Adam no small feat. Maybe this video from "Full House" stars John Stamos and Bob Saget helped amp her up?

However she did it, congratulations to Natasha and her support team most especially mom!

Police, District Say They"re Taking Social Media Threats of Clown Attacks at Schools Seriously

5 Disturbing Clown Sightings Caught on Camera

A flood of social media posts that surfaced in recent days threatening attacks on Philadelphia schools by clowns some of which named specific schools prompted Philadelphia police and the city school district to investigate.

The district and police on Sunday released a joint statement saying that the unnerving posts, some of which named Philadelphia schools as targets in attacks to be carried out by clowns in the coming days, are being taken seriously.

"The School District of Philadelphia"s Office of School Safety alerted both the Philadelphia Police Department and the Office of Homeland Security Saturday upon learning of these disturbing social media posts," the statement read in part. "The safety of our children and the communities surrounding our schools is a top priority for us, and we are taking this matter seriously."

Authorities said similar posts have surfaced in a number of other states, but they"re actively investigating those in Philadelphia and "pursuing those responsible for them."

Reports of clown sightings across the country surfaced in recent weeks, including several in the Philadelphia area and surrounding counties.

Police in northeastern Pennsylvania about two weeks ago said they were investigating in Pottsville after receivinga report that a 12-year-old girl and her friends were chased by a clown, who then threw a stick at them and yelled obscenities before running back into the woods. Last week in Reading, police said a 16-year-old boy was stabbed to death after someone in a clown mask may have provoked a confrontation.

Reports of clown sightings have also surfaced in Lower Macungie, Easton, and New Jersey over the last several weeks.

Forecaster: "Timeless" and "Conviction" face off in a battle of new shows

Conviction (ABC) First Look Featurette HD
Forecaster: Timeless and Conviction face off in a battle of newshows

One of the more intriguing timeslot battles of the new season kicks off Monday, as ABC, CBS and NBC all bring their 10 p.m. shows on line.

In the long term, CBS Scorpion probably sets up as the healthiest of the three. Its already an established show, and by the midpoint of the season (if not sooner) it would be no surprise to see it at the top of the 10 oclock heap.

The face-off between two new shows one of which will feel very familiar and the other of which is part of a big trend this season will be pretty interesting to watch.

The more familiar show is ABCs Conviction, about a former first daughter (Hayley Atwell, back on ABC after Agent Carter) whos put in charge of a conviction integrity unit i.e., checking whether people in prison should really be there at the Manhattan D.A.s office. Its a procedural with a charismatic lead, just like the show its replacing, Castle, was, and the dynamics between Atwells cynical character and her more idealistic colleagues will be familiar to anyone whos ever watched House.

NBCs Timeless, meanwhile, sends its three leads (Abigail Spencer, Malcolm Barrett and Matt Lanter) traveling through time (the pilot sends them to the date of the Hindenburg blimp explosion) to chase a criminal (Goran Visnjic) whos stolen another time machine with the intent of changing history to destroy the current present. Its one of four new shows with a time-travel element this season (Frequency, Time After Time and Making History are the others), and it gets to be first out of the gate.

Since it has The Voice as a lead-in, Timeless will likely put up a better premiere number than Conviction on Monday night. But it will be interesting to see how the two shows play out in the ratings over the course of the fall. Will novelty and a strong lead-in keep Timeless up, or will viewers go more for the tried-and-true formula of Conviction?

Predicteach new shows premiere rating below and discuss their longer-term prospects in the comments.

Will Florida Supreme Court rule against statute-of-limitations on foreclosures?

Killer Clowns In Houston Texas

In Florida, a five-year statute of limitations could prevent banks from being able to foreclose, even after the lengthy court process.

As a result, some mortgage servicers, who make payments on behalf of the borrowers, help keep the accounts active.

According to a report by Moodys Investors Service, Servicers are trying to best preserve their foreclosure rights pending the Florida Supreme Court Decision. The issue arises because many loans went to foreclosure, stalled and then became dismissed several years ago when large bank servicers instituted foreclosure moratoriums and large Florida foreclosure firms went out of business amidst claims of improper practices.

The Florida Supreme Court is currently deciding on a case, U.S. Bank v. Bartram, that will decide if servicers can restart foreclosures after five years, or if they will be barred by the Florida statute of limitations, according to the article.

While they wait on the court"s decision, servicers continue to make payments, allowing mortgagers to sue for up to five years worth of payments. From Moody"s perspective, as a credit ratings agency, analysts do not expect bond performance to be greatly impacted either way.

At any rate, the report by Moodys Investors Service states, Without crediting these payments, servicers would either do nothing and wait for the Supreme Court ruling or fun the risk that courts will rule that missed payments more than five years ago are barred by the statute of limitations and may dismiss the foreclosure.

If the court rules that servicers cannot restart the clock, some foreclosures could be permanently barred, forcing banks to accept less, give deals or greatly lower the monthly payment, according to the article. The bank may elect for a short sale in order to get any recoveries.

The court ruling will have only a minor impact on overall RMBS performance because the number of previously dismissed foreclosure actions that are seriously delinquent or in foreclosure is minimal, the report said. Only approximately 3% of private label loans backed by properties in Florida had a prior foreclosure dismissed and are greater than 60 days delinquent or in foreclosure.

The actress previously had long hair with face-framing layers, but it looks like she decided it was time for a change. Bure"s longtime hairstylist Daniel Blaylock told Us Weekly that he chopped her tresses into a graduated, textured bob with a deep side part.

Its shorter in the back, longer in the front, has beautiful movement and long side-swept bangs, Blaylock told Us of the shorter haircut. I first cut off all the length at right above her shoulders. This removed her damaged ends and hair, which was the inspiration for a fresh cut. Using her previous shorter layers as a guide, I added in texture by point-cutting into my sections to provide movement and create an edgy but chic look.

After prepping Cameron Bure"s strands with his favorite Oribe conditioning spray and Krastase thermal protectant and reconstructive serum, Blaylock blew out her hair with a round bristle brush to complete the look. Besides getting rid of damaged hair, her new bob also reduces her morning hair-care routine and blowout time.

She loved how healthy her hair felt, how effortless it looks, and the movement in the cut! Blaylock told Us. The maintenance will not be as extreme with a cut like this, and that will work even better for her schedule!

How To Vote In Texas This November

#INQFact: How to Vote in the Philippine elections

Dear Mr. Premack: I have always been eager to vote, but this year at age 82 I let my driver"s license expire and moved from Austin to San Antonio to live with my daughter. I want to be sure I am all set to vote with ID and Registration. What should I do, and how soon? W.T.

Registration is required in order to vote in the upcoming November election. People can register in person or by mail. The Texas Secretary of State says the deadline to register is October 11. If registering by mail, the application must be postmarked on or before October 11. Don"t wait for the deadline; give yourself and the county as much time as possible to be sure your registration is proper. An application can be obtained online, but there is no way to actually register online. Registration must be done in person or by mail.

If a voter has moved or changed their name, their registration must be updated. According to the Secretary of State: If you moved within the same county where you are currently registered, you must file the new address information in writing with your voter registrar (for Bexar county, visit http://www.bexar.org/1706/Registration-Changes).

If you moved to a different county you must re-register in your new county of residence. So, W.T., you must re-register in your new county by October 11 to be eligible to vote.

Anyone who wants to confirm they are properly registered may verify online at https://teamrv-mvp.sos.texas.gov/MVP/mvp.do. Those who are properly registered receive a registration card in the mail. The Secretary of State highly recommends presenting the registration card at the polling place. If you do not present your registration card but your name is on the list of eligible voters, you can still vote with proper ID. If you have no registration card and are not on the list of eligible voters, you may be denied the vote.

Registered voters also need to present one of the seven forms of photo ID, or present some other acceptable ID along with a Reasonable Impediment Declaration (which they will provide at the polling place). See my August 29 column for more information on Voter ID (http://www.mysanantonio.com/life/life_columnists/paul_premack/article/Court-Order-relaxes-Voter-ID-requirements-9191400.php). W.T.: if your driver"s license has been expired less than four years you should be able to use it as ID to vote.

Vote Early or by Mail

Once properly registered, consider Early Voting (open from October 24 November 4, a tight squeeze if you are not yet registered). Also, consider Voting by Mail if you are age 65 or older on election day, are disabled, or will be out of the county on election day. You must apply for a mail ballot. In Bexar County, you can request an application by phoning the Elections Office at 210-335-0362 or by mailing them a request. Applications to vote by mail must be received by the county by October 28 (so if you are not yet registered, you may be too late to apply this year).

Candidate Forum

The League of Women Voters is holding a Candidate Forum on October 5 at 6 pm. Candidates for Civil and Criminal Judgeships and for Sheriff will attend. The Forum is free, and will be at the UTSA Downtown Campus.
