Julian Assange warns WikiLeaks will make "significant disclosures ...

Wikileaks Hacked Hillary Campaign E-mails Confirm Extraterrestrial Intelligence?

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange promised "significant" disclosures on subjects including the U.S. election and Google in the coming weeks as the secret-spilling group marked its 10th anniversary on Tuesday.

Assange said WikiLeaks plans to start publishing new material starting this week, but wouldn"t specify the timing and subject and warned that the so called "October Surprise" may expose Google.

The war between Assange and the tech giant started in 2014 when he wrote about the company in his book titled, "When Google Met Wikileaks", according to Recode.

"Nobody wants to acknowledge that Google has grown big and bad," Assange wrote in the book.

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange (pictured in 2016) promised "significant" disclosures on subjects including the U.S. election and Google in the coming weeks as the secret-spilling group marked its 10th anniversary on Tuesda

Assange (pictured above on Tuesday) said WikiLeaks plans to start publishing new material starting this week

"But it has. Schmidt"s tenure as CEO saw Google integrate with the shadiest of U.S. power structures as it expanded into a geographically invasive megacorporation."

Assange became concerned about former Google CEO Eric Schmidt"s ties with the State Department in 2009 when Hillary Clinton was serving as secretary of state.

He has claimed that Schmidt, who is a chairman at the company, has worked with the Clintons for years, as Donald Trump accused Google of political bias saying that it suppresses negative news about Clinton.

Speaking by video link to an anniversary news conference in Berlin earlier this week, he said the leaks include "significant material" on war, arms, oil, internet giant Google, the U.S. election and mass surveillance.

WikiLeaks hopes "to be publishing every week for the next 10 weeks," Assange said.

Assange wrote in his 2014 book that "Schmidt"s (file above) tenure as CEO saw Google integrate with the shadiest of U.S. power structures as it expanded into a geographically invasive megacorporation"

The group, which released Democratic National Committee emails days before the party"s national convention earlier this year, wouldn"t say who or what campaign would be affected by the upcoming U.S. election leaks.

Assange said speculation that he or WikiLeaks intend to harm Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton is "false."

Asked whether he feels any personal affinity with Clinton"s Republican rival, Donald Trump, Assange replied: "I feel personal affinity really, I think, with all human beings."

"I certainly feel sorry for Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump," he added. "These are two people that are tormented by their ambitions in different ways."

Assange claimed that Schmidt has worked with the Clintons for years, as Donald Trump accused Google (file) of political bias saying that it suppresses negative news about Clinton

Wikileaks came to prominence a decade ago by publishing classified documents that related to prisoners in the United States" Guantanamo Bay, NSA surveillance of world leaders and military operations in Afghanistan.

In addition, millions of diplomatic and military files were made public by Wikileaks from US soldier Chelsea Manning who is currently serving a 35-year prison term for leaking the information.

Sweden is seeking Assange"s extradition in a rape investigation.

He hasn"t left the Ecuadorean Embassy in London since 2012.

Assange denies the rape allegation and says he fears being extradited to the U.S. to face espionage charges if he leaves.

Could Hurricane Matthew interact with Hurricane Nicole?

The path of hurricane Nicole and hurricane Matthew

As Hurricane Matthew makes its way up the Florida coast, forecasters now predict that the storm will go back into the Atlantic and head back toward us.

>> Read more trending stories

But as Matthew makes that turn into the Atlantic, it could get in Hurricane Nicole"s path, resulting in both storms interacting with one another. This phenomenon is calledthe Fujiwara effect.

Named after a Japanese meteorologist, this phenomenon can happen when tropical cyclones are less then 900 miles between each other.

>> Read the latest on Hurricane Matthew

But what happens when they collide?

If one storm is stronger and bigger than the other, it will simply "absorb" the storm. But if they are both of similar strengths the two will move around their common mid-point and "dance" around each other, according to weather.about.com.

A recent example of the Fujiwara effect is Hurricane Wilma in 2005. Wilma "absorbed" Tropical Storm Alpha after making landfall in south Florida.

The possibility of this happening with Hurricane Matthew is still "highly speculative," our news partners at WPTV report. But Matthew"s forecasted path is not as odd as people may think.

In 2004 Hurricane Ivan showed a similar path to Matthew, but instead made it"s way into the Gulf of Mexico hitting Alabama. The storm then moved north into the Atlantic Ocean, turning around south to hit Florida, and then moving back into the Gulf of Mexico to make landfall a third time in Louisiana.

N.J. lawmakers want Christie response to Hurricane Sandy report

Hurricane Sandy: Super Storm Slams East Coast States

WASHINGTONTwo New Jersey members of the U.S. Housewant Gov. Chris Christie to respond to a government watchdog reportthat questioned how the state spent $43 million in Hurricane Sandyhousing funds.

Reps. Frank Pallone Jr. (D-6th Dist.) and Bill Pascrell Jr. (D-9th Dist.) said Christie needs to account for the money spent on the housing programs and make sure that future funding is properlyhanded out. They plan to release a letter at a press conference in Moonachie on Friday.

New Jerseyhad awarded a three-year, $67.7-million contract to Hammerman and Gainer Inc. to distribute funds for three housing programs, butended it after one yearfollowing complaints by homeowners aboutinept management, poor communication and long delays. The state wound up paying $43.5 million.

U.S. questions $43M in Sandy spending

"We want answers for the folks who were left without homes," Pallone and Pascrell saidin a joint statement. "We want answers because this federal funding was spent improperly. We want answers and we want action to ensure this doesn"t happen again when the next storm hits New Jersey."

The HUD inspector general said the Christie administration did not properly account for$43.1 million. The report saidthestate did not ensure that the disbursements met a national objective, that the prices were fair and reasonable, the costs were necessary and there wasproper documentation forlabor and travel costs.

The inspector general said HUD should either require proper documentation or demand that the state repay the agency.

The New Jerseyattorney general"s office rejected the findings, saying there was proper documentation for the expenses, that the state Department of Community Affairs corrected some of the problems while the agreementwas in place, and that the state properly followed its own rules in awarding the contract.

The two Democratic lawmakers earlier sought an investigation by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in 2014 after the state ended its agreement with Hammerman & Gainer.

"We fought too hard for these federal disaster recovery dollars to stand by while they are recklessly mismanaged," the lawmakers wrote at the time. "New Jerseyans who are still struggling to put their lives back together over a year after Hurricane Sandy deserve better."

Pascrell and Pallone have been critical of the state"s response to Sandy. After New Jersey in January got only $15 millionof the$326 million it requestedin disaster relief under a program funded in the Hurricane Sandy aid package, Pallone said the state submitted"a lousy application"and Pascrell gave the administration"poor grades."

Upcoming FNAF game, "Five Nights at Freddy"s: Sister Location"

The indie horror game "Five Nights at Freddy"s" gained an unbelievably huge following when it was released in 2014. Next week, fans will be treated with more things to do, a whole new set, and lots more to be thrilled about with "Five Nights at Freddy"s: Sister Location."

New Spinoff Sequel

Independent video game creator, developer, and writer Scott Cawthon will debut aspinoff sequel for his hit horror video game. The fan base of the "Five Nights at Freddy"s" franchise has amazingly grown so much, even if the original installment was just released two years ago. The new game, "Five Nights at Freddy"s: Sister Location," will offer a lot more to the table to further pound the heart of its players.

According to a report, one of the features of "Five Nights at Freddy"s: Sister Location" to get the players going is free roaming. This would require players to accomplish several different tasks before and after they get in a location. This gameplay mechanism would then be critical to a player"s future fate in the game, as being trapped in their chosen room would be highly possible.

Game Improvements

News and updates for "Five Nights at Freddy"s: Sister Location" have been very scarce. This is because Cawthon has been limiting his responses in threads and forums on Steam. It is important to note that Scott Cawthon is an individual entity who has been in charge of almost every aspect of the "Five Nights at Freddy"s" franchise.

However, on the occasion when Cawthon does respondon the threads, he drops precious information regarding "Five Nights at Freddy"s: Sister Location." He had previously said that he is still looking at how to improve the gameplay, and he is still evaluating whether some of the changes would be approved or frowned upon by the actual players.

Fans have been worried if "Five Nights at Freddy"s: Sister Location" would be another disappointment, much like the "Five Nights at Freddy"s World." The pressure is definitelyon for Cawthon to once again incorporate interesting game elements that would not feel recycled but still cohesive.

Release Details

What the fans are looking for in the upcoming "Five Nights at Freddy"s: Sister Location" are the things that will set it apart from its previous installments. While the free roaming feature is indeed a great addition to the game, better voice acting and maps have been long clamored for by the fans. With this, everyone is looking forward for the official release of "Five Nights at Freddy"s: Sister Location" next week, on October 7.

Marco Estrada, Toronto Blue Jays rout Texas Rangers in ALDS Game 1

Texas Rangers 2016 Postseason Hype Video

ARLINGTON, Texas Marco Estrada took a shutout into the ninth inning, Jose Bautista hit a long, punctuating three-run homer and the Toronto Blue Jays opened their AL Division Series rematch with a 10-1 romp over the Texas Rangers on Thursday.

Bautista, who had the emphatic bat flip after his tiebreaking homer in the ALDS clincher last October against the Rangers and got punched the last time the Blue Jays played in Texas in May, drove in four runs. He had an RBI single in Torontos five-run third off All-Star left-hander Cole Hamels.

Most popular baseball stories

Bautista added a 425-foot blast in the ninth inning, and the Blue Jays slugger seemed to deliberately drop the bat softly near home plate after his second homer of this postseason.

Troy Tulowitzki hit a bases-loaded triple for the Blue Jays. Toronto has won four straight overall, including an 11-inning, 5-2 victory over Baltimore in the AL wild-card game Tuesday night.

Estrada, also an All-Star pitcher this season, limited Texas to four hits, the last Elvis Andrus leadoff triple in the ninth. Manager John Gibbons removed the right-hander after Shin-Soo Choos RBI grounder ended the shutout bid.

Estrada has never pitched a complete game in the majors and the Blue Jays didnt throw one this season. No matter, Estrada gave them all they needed to start this best-of-five series.

Toronto had to win its last two regular-season games at AL East champion Boston just to make the playoffs. The Blue Jays then won at home this week when Edwin Encarnacion hit a game-ending, three-run homer to beat Baltimore.

Bautista was booed heartily during pregame introductions and while he batted in the first inning. There also were chants of Rougie! Rougie! those were for Rougned Odor, the second baseman who punched Bautista and ignited a bench-clearing brawl in their last meeting May 15. Odor was suspended seven games.

By time Bautista led off the seventh with a walk, the ballpark was quiet with the Rangers down 7-0. After he homered, a fan threw the ball almost back to the infield.

The only hit Estrada allowed in the first six innings came when Adrian Beltre led off the second with a soft grounder to the right side of the infield, when the pitcher didnt get over to cover the base.

Texas didnt have another hit until Carlos Beltran singled in the seventh, but was promptly erased by a double play.

Hamels, the MVP of the 2008 World Series and NLCS for Philadelphia, threw 42 of his 82 pitches in the third. He allowed seven runs (six earned) with three walks in 3 1/3 innings.

Ezequiel Carrera was on second base with two outs in the third when Josh Donaldson hit a liner toward base. Donaldson had even stopped running, assuming that Beltre would catch the ball instead, the rising liner ricocheted off the mitt of the four-time Gold Glover and into left field for an RBI double that made it 1-0.

Encarnacion then had a single on a liner off Hamels outstretched glove, before Bautistas run-scoring single and Russell Martins walk to load the bases.

Tulowitzki followed with a triple deep into the right-center gap on a ball that All-Star center fielder Ian Desmond might have lost when running out of the sun and into the shadows while getting close to the wall during the late afternoon.

Melvin Upton Jr. homered starting the Toronto sixth before Andrus one-out throwing error from shortstop allowed leadoff hitter Devon Travis to reach.

Donaldson, who had four hits and walked, then had an RBI double to chase Hamels. Alex Claudio then pitched 3 2-3 scoreless innings.

When Texas had errors on three consecutive plays in that shaky seventh inning of Game 5 last October, leading up to Bautistas homer, Andrus had two of them. Andrus had misplayed a grounder to start that frame, and dropped an easy toss on what would have been a sure force out.

TRAINERS ROOM

Blue Jays: Closer Roberto Osuna came out of the AL wild-card with shoulder soreness, and it was never clear beforehand if the right-hander was available for the ALDS opener. He was never needed. If not today, there should be no limitations (Friday), manager John Gibbons said before the game.

Rangers: Choo was on the postseason roster, batting ninth in the opener and went 0 for 3. He had four stints on the disabled list this season, and had missed 39 games with a fractured left forearm before returning for the last three games of the regular season.

UP NEXT

Blue Jays: LHP J.A. Happ, a 20-game winner, allowed one run in seven innings in a win against the Rangers on May 5. He stars Friday afternoon at Texas.

Rangers: Yu Darvish starts only his second postseason game in his five seasons with Texas. The right-hander from Japan lost the 2012 AL wild-card game against Baltimore, and missed last season after Tommy John surgery.

FAN CHARGED IN BEER-THROWING INCIDENT

The man who threw a beer at Baltimore outfielder Hyun Soo Kim during the seventh inning of Tuesday nights AL wild card game has been charged with mischief.

Ken Pagan, 41, a copy editor for Postmedia, reported to a police precinct in Toronto Thursday evening. He was later released and is due in court in late November.

Pagan contacted police Wednesday evening after police released a photo of him.

Toronto police said Thursday they are sure they have the right man. We are confident we have made a positive ID and we will continue to work with the Rogers Centre to further the investigation, Police spokeswoman Meaghan Gray said.
