"Horrified" Jake Tapper Responds to WikiLeaks Emails That Expose Donna Brazile as Clinton Mole

Donna Brazile Can"t Handle Megyn Kelly

When WikiLeaks dumped the most recent batch of emails, a number of people were stung in their connection to the Clinton campaign.

Among them was former CNN commentator Donna Brazile, who is now serving as interim chair for the Democratic National Committee a post that was, ironically, vacated by Debbie Wasserman Schultz after she was stung in a similar document dump just before the convention.

Brazile was revealed to be Clinton"s mole at CNN, feeding information about attacks from the Sanders campaign during the primary. But another email suggested that Brazile may have even facilitated the Clinton campaign"s access to questions ahead of televised town hall meetings.

CNN"s Jake Tapper spoke to WMAL"s Larry O"Connor and Brian Wilson about his former colleague:

"Its a very, very troubling look, I have tremendous regard for Donna Brazile. Shes a good person and a nice person and I like her a lot but whatever took place here and I know I had nothing to do with it and I know CNN, we were so closely guarding our documents they werent emailed around.

My understanding is the email toDonna came from either Roland Martin or someone around Roland Martin."

Tapper also responded to the factthat questions were apparentlyleaked to the campaign. He confirmed that, at the town hall hosted by himself and Roland Martin, Hillary was asked a question that matched the one forwarded to her by Brazile almost word for word.:

Its horrifying. Journalistically its horrifying and Im sure it will have an impact onpartnering with this organization in the future and Im sure it will have and effect on Donna Brazile is no longer with CNN because shes with the DNC right now, but Im sure it will have some impact on Donna Brazille.

People at CNN take this very, very seriously and to have somebody who does not take it seriously and to have us partner with that person and then they do something completely unethical and share it with Donna Brazile who then shares it with the Clinton campaign its horrifying and very, very upsetting and I cant condemn it any more than

I condemn it in no uncertain terms, its awful."

Politico reported on Wednesday that Roland Martin submitted his question for the town hall meeting to CNN producers on the day of the broadcast. His wording, punctuation, and even spacing were identical to the email that was sent to the Clinton campaign by Brazile the day before.

And given the complex nature of the question, it"s not likely that it happened by accident:

19 states and the District of Columbia have banned the death penalty. 31 states, including Ohio, still have the death penalty. According to the National Coalition to Abolish the Death Penalty, since 1973, 156 people have been on death row and later set free. Since 1976, 1,414 people have been executed in the U.S. Thats 11% of Americans who were sentenced to die, but later exonerated and freed. Should Ohio and the 30 other states join the current list and abolish the death penalty?

Despite the obvious overlap, CNN insists that no one shared the questions prior to the event. Martin, who was representing TVOne, claims that not even his own producers knew what he was going to ask.

G*d Bless America, the singer posted to Instagram on Saturday, sharing a photo of herself wearing a floral jacket and hat. Madonnas postcomes afterBET tweeted (and later deleted) an advertisement for their own Prince tribute during the May 22 BBMA ceremony.Yeah, we saw that, the tweetbegan, referencing Madonnas performance ahead of plugging a similar tribute set to take place June 26 at the BET Awards.Dont worry. We got you.

Madonnafollowed up her first Instagram with a photo of herself wearing sunglasses, writing: I Will Shade You. hahahhahahahhahah.

BET has since responded to Madonnas post. Unfortunately, witty as this tweet is, it cant turn back the clock on a performance thatfailed to coverthe various roles and stages of the legends career, BETs Evelyn Diaz wrote in an article posted Sunday morning.

The 57-year-old has endured a barrage of criticism following her performance at the BBMAs, where she took to the stage to sing a cover ofNothing Compares 2 U, the1990 hit written by the late pop starbut popularized by Sinead OConnor. Madonna then launched into a performance of Purple Rain alongside Stevie Wonder. A petition on Change.org began circulating prior to the event itself, with more than 8,000 signatories urging Billboard to find a better choice as a main performer in place of Madonna.

Madonna previously defended her tribute to Prince on social media, writing: Anyone who wants to do a tribute to Prince is welcome to. Whatever your age Gender or skin Color. If you loved him and he inspired you then show it!!!! I love Prince 4 ever on Instagram.

Several celebrities have also voiced support for the Queen of Pop since the performance aired, including GloZell Green, who tweetedYawl do know that @Madonna has made a living by not caring about what you think shortly after the ceremony.

Wendy Williamstold petitioners to please have several seats on a May 17 episode of her talk show, whileThe RootsQuestlove also came to Madges defense, tweeting a series of messages criticizing fans angry reactions to the performance.

So I know there is gonna be A LOT of feel a certain ways about who you want to see do his music justice but you gotta put that aside yallEvery Prince rendition will not be a life changing orgasmic [experience]. Just to SING his work is brave enough, he wrote.Again feeling are on high, and EVERYBODY wants and deserves a chance to say goodbye in their own way. But remember: there will be AMAs, SoulTrain, NAACP, mtv, GRAMMYS, and a gazillion other tributes. But the point is lets not get ugly with playing the Prince would and wouldnt approve game.

Trump says "bad hombre" during the debate, and memes are born

One Bad Hombre

Trump"s Spanish left much to be desired. USA TODAY

The third and final presidential debate featured an early discussion on immigration. Republican nominee Donald Trump, who has favored deporting those who have arrived in the U.S. illegally, said, "We have some bad hombres here, and we"re going to get them out."

Twitter users quickly responded to Trump"s dip into bilingualism (hombre is Spanish for man).

Well, now we know Trump"s Spanish vocabulary is all of 2 words: "hombre" and "taco". I"d gladly teach him a few more choice words... https://t.co/rgBq0Yyi3J

Donald Trump"s "bad hombres" comment causes confusion

CÓMO SER UN HOMBRE || Parodiadera Sketch

It was expected that Donald Trump would double down on his determined plan to build a wall while addressing the topic of immigration Wednesday night. But what wasnt expected, was his comment that followed.

We have some bad hombres here, and were going to get them out, Trump promised.

Hillary Clinton grinned as Trump finished his statement.

Thousands of people took to Twitter to discuss Trumps bilingual moment, and people began to ask: Who are the bad hombres?

Merriam-Webster was quick to jump in to define the new term Trump introduced on the debate stage.

Searches for the word hombre, the Spanish word for man, spiked 120,000% over the hourly average after Trump used the word, Merriam-Webster reported.

But that wasnt the only word people were searching.

By the end of the debate, lookups for hombres, ombr (an old three-handed card game popular in Europe especially in the 17th and 18th centuries) and ombre having colors or tones that shade into each other used especially of fabrics in which the color is graduated from light to dark) also increased by large margins, Merriam-Webster said.

Its not surprising, considering dozens of people were using the term ombre to make jokes during the debate on Twitter.

For example, bad ombres:

Others used the phrase bad hombres to create clever band names and catchy sayings:

What Does Hombre Mean? Definition Of Trump Vernacular Like Bigly, Nasty And More

Trump Says He"ll Win "Bigly"

Many of the people who tuned into the final presidential debateWednesday night heardcandidates Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton talk about their plans for foreign policy, immigration and the economy. They alsogot somewhat of an English lesson.

Thanks to Trumps nifty vernacular, there was a spike in searches for various terms he used during the debate according to Dictionary.com and many people took to Twitter to poke fun at Trumps phrases like bad hombre and nasty woman. So what exactly do the words Trump used during Wednesdays debate mean? Read on to find out.

Hombre: The Merriam-Webster definition of hombre simply means a man, guy or fellow. However, the Spanish word is also sometimes used as a slang term for homie or punk, according to Urban Dictionary. Given Trumps use of the word when he explained his immigration strategy to get all the bad hombres out of the United States, it may be safe to assume he was referring to the latter.

Ombre: Not to be confused with the previous word, ombre is the definition of a popular hair coloring trend in which the bottom half of the hair is colored lighter or brighter than the color of the roots. Although there have been some bad ombres to surface since the hair-trend first popped up, this word is not what Trump was referring to when he discussed his immigration policy and said, We have some bad hombres, and were going to get them out. Or was he?

Bigly: Believe it or not, bigly is actually a word. However, it may not be the term Trump has been using in debates. Hes actually been saying big league, but because he swallows the final g in league its not always clear. Lexicographer Kory Stamper confirmed to the The Hollywood Reporter that the term bigly which originated around 1400 has two meanings: The first definition means with great force or violent or strongly while the second definition refers to boastfully, haughtily or proudly.

Trumpery: This term is normally associated with the facts, stats and other statements the Republican candidate makesduring his speaking engagements, but the meaning of trumpery according to Merriam-Webster literally means worthless nonsense, trivial or useless articles.

Nasty: There are a few ways to define the word nasty, according to Merriam-Webster. The term can be used to describe a very unpleasant sight, smell ortaste, or it could mean indecent and offensive. When Trump referred to Clinton as a nasty woman during the final presidential debate he could have been also calling her unpleasant and unkind, which is also a definition of the word nasty.

Michelle Obama Receives "Love Letters" From Gloria Steinem ...

Watch first lady Michelle Obama’s full speech at the 2016 Democratic National Convention

Michelle Obamais on the cover ofThe New York Times Style Magazinefor its current Greats issue, receiving love letters from some of the countrys best known men and women who describe how she quietly and confidently changed the course of American history.

The letters, titled To the First Lady, With Love, began with a note from Nigerian author and feministChimamanda Ngozi Adichie, best known for her 2013 TEDx talk We should all be feminists, which was sampled by Beyonc for her song Flawless.

Adichie writes that Obama first appeared in the public consciousness, all common sense and mordant humor, at ease in her skin.

Because she said what she thought, and because she smiled only when she felt like smiling, and not constantly and vacuously, Americas cheapest caricature was cast on her: the Angry Black Woman, Adichie continues, adding that she felt protective of FLOTUS because she was speaking to an America often too quick to read a black womans confidence as arrogance, her straightforwardness as entitlement.

Political activist and journalist Gloria Steinem also contributed her own love letter to Obama, writing She managed to convey dignity and humor at the same time, to be a mother of two daughters and insist on regular family dinners, and to take on health issues and a national food industry addicted to unhealthy profits.

Steinem touchedon Obamas elegance under the spotlight, saying She has lived a public life without sacrificing her privacy and authenticity.

ActressRashida Jonesmarveled at the First Ladys strength.

Michelle Obama embodies the modern, American woman, and I dont mean that in any platitudinous or vague way, Jones writes. Rarely can someone express their many identities at the same time while seeming authentic.

The letters come one week after Obama slammed Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump at a New Hampshire rally for his rival, Hillary Clinton, after allegations of sexual assault against the businessman came to light.

I cant believe that Im saying that a candidate for President of the United States has bragged about sexually assaulting women Be clear, this is not normal, she stated, her voice shaking with emotion throughout the 30 minute speech. This is not politics as usual. This is disgraceful.

FLOTUS also released a documentary on CNN, titledWe Will Rise, with a focus on providing education for girls around the world. Her legacy as First Lady includes her initiative Let Girls Learn, which aims to help girls around the world attend school and further their educations.
