Cary, N.C. Hundreds of year-round students in Wake County could be in school Saturday after missing school for four days this week.
Year-round schools in tracks one, three and four could make up Tuesday's snow day Saturday if the weather improves enough for safe travel to schools, a Wake County Public Schools spokesperson said. Officials were planning to make that decision official during the day Friday.
Traditional-calendar schools will make up Tuesday's snow day on Monday, March 23, the first day of spring break for students.
Modified-calendar schools will make up Tuesday's snow day on March 9. Year-round, track two students are not in session this week, so no make-up days are required.
School officials have not announced details about how Wednesday, Thursday and Friday snow days will be made up.
