Checotah native Carrie Underwood took to her official Facebook page this morning to announce that she and husband Mike Fisher, who plays for the Nashville Predators National Hockey League team, have welcomed their first child, a son named Isaiah Michael Fisher.

As previously reported, the country music superstar announced that she was expected her first baby with a cute Labor Day Twitter announcement featuring her two dogs. Then, she and CMA Awards co-host Brad Paisley revealed the babys gender during their opening of the Country Music Associations televised awards show in November.
