The only thing dead about Norman Reedus is the title of the show he plays on. "The Walking Dead" star is the latest victim of a death hoax; rest assured Reedus is alive and well. Not many details are known about the hoax, but it did produce a Facebook tribute page. It seems everyone has caught on by now because at the time of publication, the page only had 108 likes.

The actor survived another death hoax earlier this year, in which it was reported that he died in a car crash in June.

A recent play on words led the World Wide Web to believe that Betty White had died, when in reality, she had... "dyed." As in, her hair.

A cheeky headline published by Empire News read that the actress had "Dyed Peacefully in Her Los Angeles Home." The article was actually referring to how the star supposedly had colored her hair at home for decades.

She is, indeed, alive and well. less

Jaden Smith falls victim to another Internet death hoax

Death hoaxes are nothing new to celebrities or the Internet. Every once in a while a legitimate-looking article will pop up saying a big-name celebrity has died is some sort of bizarre or tragic accident.

Jaden Smith, Will Smith"s son, is the latest target. An article has started popping up on Facebook claiming that Smith committed suicide in late July. The headline sites legitimate sources like CNN, but when you click in, an ad pops up and leads you to a super sketchy site.

TOTAL FLOP: "Suicide Squad" critics not sure how to feel about the film

This isn"t the first time Smith has been the target of a death hoax. Around 2012 or 2013 Smith was said to have died in a tragic snowboarding accident. Rest assured, he was alive then and is alive now.

The rumors have since been disproved, so we can all rest easy.

Jaden is one of many celebrities who have been victims of death hoaxes. Take a look through the gallery above to see who else the Internet claimed was dead at one time or another.
