Disney has reportedly found their Gaston (again).

The studio's developing a live-action retelling of their 1991 animated blockbuster Beauty and the Beast, which will star Emma Watson as Belle. Now Variety reports that The Hobbit and Dracula Untold's Luke Evans is in negotiations to play Gaston in the Bill Condon-directed film.

In the original animated film, the handsome Gaston went after the Beast after Belle rejected him.

We are thrilled to have our good friend Kelly Clarkson back with us with some new music and you are going to sing in just a little bit, yeah, you are. I want our whole interview to be dancing. I'll go there. I'll start grabbing my ankle. Hey, your new music, it was while you were pregnant. Yes, very hormonal. Very intense. You did say it was very intense and at one point you thought you lost your voice. Eight months in, like, you know, she was jumping up and down in there. Hard to sing. Yeah, so I kind of -- I didn't have the power but it came back when she was 3 months old. I can't believe you're a little concerned is she stephanopoulos going to like the music because it's so loud. She was in there. But when -- I thought she was going to be like nah, nah. But when you play it for her we saw the video -- This song, she loves this song. It's crazy. She'll be like crying like and I'll start singing it and ale weigh be like -- We see that right there. What's so lovely is you're always so candid about everything and you said -- you love being a mom. I love it. It changes your whole focus when it's not about you and about someone else. Yeah, and I got -- I have two other kids too. Two beautiful stepchildren. It's cool. Everything becomes about home and my job is just fun on the side. It's fun and you do like to have fun and somebody -- you did an interview recently and you said that you couldn't get people to collaborate with you. People took it seriously. I said I had the black plague. I don't have that. Shocking, I know. No, I was just being funny because people were -- they were kind of making it to where -- John legend -- why didn't you sing with anybody before almost making me a snob. I've asked people to sing. I was like I would sing with a lot of people but it just doesn't always work out, the timing. People will work with me. Jimmy Fallon will work with me. That tells you something right there. That is the case. Your mother-in-law must be very happy because we hear that you have in the works perhaps a country album coming up. Yeah, I love country music. Yeah. I love r&b. I love a lot of styes -- I just don't want to stop changing and growing and, yeah. Just keep going. Reba, I love. I love her. And Broadway. I love Broadway, yes. Can you see her? I grew up in musical theater so that's the only acting I'm good at. No other kind. We won't go there. You love "From Justin to Kelly." She wants a sequel. I do. We want the sequel and I was telling you before we came on, your music is like -- they're like an thens and Amy and I were talking about this because we've had our different problems and "Stronger" got us through and musicians on call that you actually talk about that, what you do. It's amazing how much music actually affects recovery. Like just your psyche and emotional state, it's like scientifically proven to help so I love that. That's so easy for us to do as musicians in go to the hospital and do that and it makes a big, big difference. They do too. They do it for free, as well. This is my band. This is my second family. They're awesome too. Yeah, exactly. Talk about second family -- I got a lot of sisters over here. I grew up with one in Mississippi. No way. E. 0, yes. You and Shana. We did. Shana can sing her tail off. She's a jazz artist, man, she's killer. She's huge back home on the Mississippi gulf coast. We love you, we love her. Speaking about going on, you got a big announcement. I have a been at home with a baby so -- But you have proven -- you want to keep doing everything and it's wonderful to see that you are doing that and you were a little concerned and life is just -- I have a baby who loves traveling so far. Keep your fingers crossed. Do not worry you will be hearing her sing in just a little bit. Kelly Clarkson, ladies and gentlemen. Don't change, babe. Don't change. We got another check of the

New Galaxy S6 benchmarks show Samsung beating its rivals including Apple

Weve already covered the launch of the Galaxy S6 and the basics of the design, but how does the device actually perform in day-to-day use? Early test results from PCMag.comare in, courtesy of Sascha Segan, and the data points to a significant performance increase for Samsungs latest platform.

Before we dive into the figures, a few caveats are in order. Samsung hasnt shipped review units yet, so these tests are run on manufacturer hardware at a trade show. That means the devices also havent been examined with a fine-toothed comb to make certain that Samsung has stopped cheating on its benchmark results. Bearing in mind that these figures should be taken with a grain of salt, lets look at the data:

Here are the single and multi-core results for Geekbenchs overall score. The Galaxy S6 is faster in single-core performance than any other CPU save Apples A8, and its multi-core performance leaves all competitors in the dust. Even Nvidias Shield tablet, which comes closest to matching the Samsung S6, is still just 66% as fast.

One thing I want to highlight from these results is the overall scaling factor of each platform how much additional performance do we see from switching to multi-core, up from single-core?

Remember, in this case, Apples A8 is just a dual-core CPU, meaning its maximum theoretical scaling performance would be 2x. If we were to evaluate scaling as a measure of peak theoretical gain, Apples A8 is at 82.5% of theoretical performance, compared to 72.5% and 76% for the Dell Venue 7 8000 and the Nvidia Shield tablet.

One thing to remember about scaling in a mobile CPU is that its a passable stand-in for heat and power generation. The LG G3 is actually a great example of this I have one, and it struggles with throttling under any kind of load. The anemic scaling we see here is a result of that problem, guaranteed.

The Galaxy S6s scaling factor, in contrast, is much stronger. It blows past the LG G3, even beats out both tablets, and equals the iPhone 6s if we normalize the comparison. The implication here is that the 14nm shift paid big dividends for Samsung and by extension, for customers.

The Galaxy S6 isnt just about CPU performance, however. GPU performance matters, too so what do we see with offscreen comparisons in GFXBench?

Here, the Nvidia Shield tablet has an easy and expected win, but the Samsung Galaxy S6 pulls into a very respectable second place, narrowly beating out the iPhone 6 on both tests. Clearly graphics performance has some chops to it, making this a respectable win for ARM and the Mali-T760 architecture.

Early performance chops

Barring substantial shenanigans on Samsungs part (something we cant rule out given the companys past behavior), the Galaxy S6 is going to be the smartphone to beat for 2015. We know Qualcomm is working on a leading-edge version of the Snapdragon 820 and its Kryo CPU, but ARMs Cortex-A57/A53 combo on 14nm clearly shines. We may not know absolute power consumption figures yet, but the superior scaling we see in these tests suggest theyll be positive.

One interesting question is whether Apple will finally jump to quad cores in the eventual A9. For years, the company has chosen to emphasize lower clock speeds and very high IPC relative to other ARM manufacturers. The LG G3 is an example of how this strategy can pay off the G3 simply cant dissipate enough heat to really tap its quad-core CPU, and its not the only phone to have this problem.

The Galaxy S6s results suggest that new phones will have a much easier time using all cores for a longer period. That could finally prompt Apple to take an upgrade, and move its A-class processor division over to a quad-core configuration.

Kevin Bacon: Working on hourlong drama 'The Following' is 'exhilarating'

NEW YORK, March 3 (UPI) -- Actor Kevin Bacon says he is happy starring in The Following because the small-screen, cult-themed thriller challenges him to really explore his character, FBI Agent Ryan Hardy, while also affording him enough time off in between seasons to make movies.

"I like it a lot. ... I still love doing movies," the 56-year-old Philadelphia native told reporters at a recent roundtable interview at New York Comic Con.

"We wrapped the season last year and I did three movies during the course of our hiatus and I never want to stop doing that because it gives me opportunities to play a whole different kind of character. That's always been my idea about what being an actor was. I'll play this guy. He's from this walk of life, wears these kinds of clothes, talks like this, walks like this. And then I can play a guy who is totally different," he explained. "What's cool about the series is that you get to inhabit somebody for such a long time that you really get to go deeper and deeper and deeper and just kind of discover more and more things about him. The second piece of it is that we shoot 14 hours almost on a regular basis and during that time I am acting, acting, acting. ... I rarely even set foot in my dressing room. That's exhilarating to me because I love to act. I love the time between action and cut and that's what I get."

Asked if he and his wife, Kyra Sedgwick -- the former star of the police procedural The Closer -- have swapped crime stories, given the themes of their shows, Bacon replied: "She's given me a lot of tips about being on an hour drama, I can tell you that, because she did it for seven years before I even started, so that was really helpful. Crime not so much."

The Following airs Monday nights on FOX.
