OM TELOLET OM - RIA RICIS BIKIN NGAKAK part1 Jakarta (ANTARA News) - International dance-music artists, such as Zedd, Martin Garrix, and DJ Snake, on Tuesday night tweeted their confusion over the Indonesian meme "Om Telolet Om," which was listed among Twitters national trending topics.
"What does om telolet om mean?" @TheChainsmokers tweeted.
"What is Om Telolet Om? When I read it, I think of omelets/eggs," @OliverHeldens tweeted.
Musician and retired German footballer Michael Ballack also tweeted about the meme: "I keep seeing #omteloletom comments. Can someone explain the #telolet trend? Thats all I find on reviews of simple websites in #indonesia," he tweeted.
"Om Telolet Om" is a local phenomenon where children stand on the street shouting "Om Telolet Om" at passing interprovincial buses. The driver honks their horn in response, and the children cheer.
"Om" means "Sir" or "Uncle," while "telolet" refers to the sound made by a bus horn.
A video demonstrating this activity went viral on social media a month ago.
Initially, it was only seen in Jepara, Central Java, but the fad is now spreading to other regions, including West Java and Sumatra.

NBC will warm up the season next week with specials featuring two music icons. Michael Buble and Tony Bennett will air back-to-back specials on Tuesday, December 20.
First up is Michael Buble Sings and Swings which was recorded in front of a live audience in Manchester, England. During the special, Buble is not only backed by his own band, but also 50 members of the London Philharmonic Orchestra. NBC says that he performs at his absolute best. Some of the music featured in the special include Nobody but Me, Always on My Mind, Home, G*d Only Knows, and Feeling Good.

Michael Buble is a four-time Grammy winner, has had five No. 1 albums on the Billboard Top 200 pop charts, and has sold more than 55 million albums to date.
Michaels TV special was taped in October of this year. Shortly thereafter, he learned that his son had been diagnosed with cancer. On November 4, Michael posted his message on his personal website:
We are devastated about the recent cancer diagnosis of our oldest son Noah who is currently undergoing treatment in the US. We have always been very vocal about the importance of family and the love we have for our children. Luisana and I have put our careers on hold in order to devote all our time and attention to helping Noah get well. At this difficult time, we ask only for your prayers and respect for our privacy. Following the Michael Buble special is the two-hour Tony Bennett Celebrates 90: The Best Is Yet to Come hosted by Alec Baldwin. Michael Buble has a lot of work cut out for him if he wants to catch up to Tony Bennett. Bennett has won 19 Grammy awards in different genres and styles. He has created 57 studio albums, 11 live albums, 31 compilation albums, and 81 singles. As if that wasnt enough, Bennett also holds the distinction of being the oldest musical artist to place an album at the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Top 200. He did that when he was still a young 88 years old.

NECN A lawyer for aaron hernandez suggested tuesday that Russian hackers could have been responsible for accessing the former New England Patriots stars jailhouse phone calls.
It could be a Russian hacker, with all respect, like WikiLeaks, who was able to backdoor into the system, attorney George Leontire said during a pretrial hearing. We dont know.
Much of the discussion at Tuesdays hearing in Suffolk County Superior Court centered around Securus Technologies, a Dallas-based company that allowed an unknown person to access Hernandezs jailhouse phone calls as he was awaiting his first murder trial.
Specifically, Hernandezs legal team expressed concern that attorney-client communications may have been improperly accessed.
We know these phones were hacked. We still dont know who hacked them, Leontire said.
The unauthorized access into a telephone database operated by Securus occurred during the summer of 2014, shortly after Hernandez was transferred to Boston to be closer to his attorneys who were representing him in the Bristol County murder of former semi-pro football player Odin Lloyd. Hernandez has filed a lawsuit against Securus.
Nice try, Aaron Hernandez lawyers.
They dont know who hacked the phone but it had to have been Russians. Its very en vogue right now to blame Russian hackers for things and these lawyers couldnt waste this opportunity to jump on the trend.
This hacking is very unfair to Hernandez, let him go.

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Menyambut Idul Adha 1437 Hijriah, Presiden Joko Widodo dan Wakil Presiden Jusuf Kalla menyerahkan hewan kurban ke Masjid Istiqlal, Jakarta, Ahad, 11 September 2016. kedua hewan kurban itu berupa sapi peranakan Ongole.
Sapi milik Presiden yang berusia sembilan tahun tersebut diserahkan melalui Deputi Bidang Protokol, Pers, dan Media Sekretariat Presiden Djarot Sri Sulistyo. "Sapi dari Presiden yang didatangkan berasal dari Jatirogo, Tuban, Jawa Timur, seberat 1,5 ton. Sapi ini lebih besar dari tahun lalu," kata Djarot di Masjid Istiqlal, Ahad, 11 September.
Sedangkan hewan kurban dari Jusuf Kalla diserahkan oleh Kepala Bagian Perbendaharaan Wakil Presiden Purwono Prihantoro. Sapi milik Jusuf Kalla juga berasal dari Tuban, Jawa Timur, seberat 1.300 kilogram atau 1,3 ton dan berusia delapan tahun.
Sapi peranakan Ongole yang juga sering disebut sapi PO merupakan sapi yang berasal dari sapi peranakan India. Sapi ini tergolong sapi jenis zebu atau sapi berpunuk. Ukurannya pun cenderung lebih besar ketimbang sapi lokal lain.
Sebelum dibawa ke Istiqlal, kedua sapi tersebut sempat singgah di Peternakan Tapos, Depok, Jawa Barat. Penyerahan sapi secara simbolis baru dilaksanakan keesokan harinya dengan diwakili oleh salah satu menteri dalam Kabinet Kerja.
Seperti tahun-tahun sebelumnya, Jokowi tidak akan melaksanakan salat hari raya, baik itu Idul Fitri maupun Idul Adha, di Masjid Istiqlal. Rencananya Jokowi akan merayakan Idul Adha di Serang, Banten.
Meskipun begitu, kata Djarot, Jokowi tetap menyumbangkan hewan kurban di 34 provinsi. "Presiden harus memastikan sapi yang disumbangkan harus yang terbesar dan terbaik di daerahnya masing-masing," kata Djarot.
Menurut Djarot, banyak pihak yang menawarkan sapinya. Namun, Jokowi harus memastikan sapi tersebut dalam kondisi terbaik dan harga yang terjangkau. Djarot juga mengatakan, sejak beberapa tahun lalu, pihak kepresidenan tidak lagi mendatangkan sapi jenis limosin untuk disumbangkan di Masjid Istiqlal.
"Sapi limosin memang besar, tapi dagingnya lebih sedikit. Lebih baik kami datangkan sapi lokal," kata Djarot. Djarot menjamin sapi kepresidenan dalam keadaan sehat.
