Ariana Grande Heartbroken in TEARS over Hairspray Live Ending
ABC has topped a highly sleepy Monday evening in Nielsens primetime TV ratings, though the ESPN-boosted broadcaster should see its numbers slim down after some afternoon adjustments.
Thats because the Disney-owned net aired Monday Night Football in the Dallas and Detroit markets a big boost that will be backed out.
CBS was runner-up in both the key 18-49 demographic and among total viewers last night for now, at least. NBC, which aired a Hairspray Live! encore, settled for fifth in the main demo. Repeats were the theme of the night nothing scheduled on the English-language channels was original.

PEP REACTION: HULL CITY 0-3 CITY | Premier League 2016-17
Who were the best Premier League players from the Boxing Day games? We take a look at the man-of-the-match performances in our hotlist.
Chelsea sit seven points clear at the top of the table after a club record-breaking 12th win in a row against Bournemouth, with second-placed Manchester City scoring three late goals to beat bottom side Hull.
Elsewhere, current Premier League champions Leicester suffered a 2-0 defeat to Everton at the King Power, while Old Trafford was the place to be to watch stunning goals.
Fabio Borini and Henrikh Mkhitaryan each scored Christmas crackers as Manchester United beat Sunderland 3-1.
Despite registering two assists and a goal, Zlatan Ibrahimovic"s afternoon at Old Trafford on Boxing Day could have been even more fruitful.
He would have had a hat-trick but for Jordan Pickford"s saves, but the Swede has proved in recent weeks just how valuable he is to any United success this term.
After going six Premier League games without scoring in autumn, he has now scored eight in the last seven, with seven of those goals having a part to play in determining the matchresult.
He also made more key passes (five) than any other player, and won all of his aerial duels in the win over Sunderland, rightly earning the man-of-the-match award ahead of impressive performances from Antonio Valencia, Paul Pogba and Mkhitaryan.
Tom Heaton (BURNLEY 1-0 Middlesbrough)
Burnley"s 20-point haul after 18 games represents a solid return to life in the Premier League for Sean Dyche"s men - and their captain Heaton has played a key role.
Such was the nature of the contest between last season"s top two in the Sky Bet Championship, Heaton didn"t have much to do, with both teams locked in a bruising contest at Turf Moor.
Despite this, the England goalkeeper was still at his impenetrable best, alert to Gaston Ramirez"s second-half header en route to a fourth clean sheet of the season.
He also played a part in the game"s decisive goal, with Sam Vokes flicking Heaton"s punt upfield into the path of Andre Gray, who volleyed home.
When compared to the performance of his opposite number Victor Valdes, who fumbled Gray"s winner into the back of the net, Heaton"s reliability means his stock continues to rise.
Dimitri Payet (Swansea 1-4 WEST HAM)
At the heart of everything good about West Ham in their 4-1 win at Swansea was the brilliance once againof Dimitri Payet.
The France international was superb from start to finish as he ran Swansea ragged, making a remarkable six key passes in the game. No other Hammers player made more than one.
Payet didn"t manage to get on the scoresheet despite West Ham netting four, and only actually contributed one assist, but it was the 29-year-old who instigated the majority of the Hammers" attacks, and when he is on this form, there is almost no stopping him.
Yaya Toure (Hull 0-3 MAN CITY)
The Ivorian has a happy habit of finding the net on Boxing Day.
He scored from the penalty spot - his third consecutive goal the day after Christmas - to get the ball rolling for City at the KCOM Stadium.
They had largely laboured up until that point, but Toure"s third Premier League goal of the season was the first of three Man City goals in the final 18 minutes.
The former Barcelona midfielder also had a hand in the visitors" third, capping another thoroughly impressive performance and drawing praise from Jamie Redknapp and Thierry Henry in the Sky Sports studio.
Eden Hazard (CHELSEA 3-0 Bournemouth)
Hazard was brilliant against Bournemouth, continuously pulling off tricks and flicks, and showing off his blistering pace to hit the Cherries on the counter-attack along with Willian and Pedro.
He nabbed a much deserved goal after his skills proved too much for Simon Francis, who conceded a stonewall penalty after fouling the playmaker, andthe Belgiandispatched the spot-kick with coolness and class as Chelsea cruised to a club-record 12th straight Premier League victory.
It doesn"t look like much can stop the runaway train that is Hazard this season after a poor showing overall last term.
Joel Robles (Leicester 0-2 EVERTON)
Everton"s goalkeeper was only starting against Leicesterdue to an injury picked up by Maarten Stekelenburg in the Merseyside derby. However, the Toffees did not miss their first-choice shot stopper.
Not only did the tall Spaniard keep a clean sheet at the King Power - a rarity of late for Ronald Koeman"s side - but he also created the visitors" crucial opening goal for Kevin Mirallas six minutes after half-time.
As a result, the 26-year-old became the 50th different "keeper to provide an assist in Premier League history.
Ben Foster (Arsenal 1-0 WEST BROM)
The Baggies No.1 produced a goalkeeping masterclass to keep Arsenal at bay for long periods.
After a quiet opening 45 minutes, the game burst into life just after the break with Arsenal laying siege to the West Brom goal.
Foster produced a fantastic double save to deny Alex Iwobi and Alexis Sanchez before having a running battle with the Chilean, who he denied twice more with some sharp work between the sticks.
When Olivier Giroud had a low drive booted clear by Foster with 13 minutes to go, it looked like it was to be West Brom"s day. However, Giroud looped a spectacular header home with four minutes to play to spoil Foster"s clean sheet.
Wilfried Zaha (Watford 1-1 CRYSTAL PALACE)
Zaha put in a performance that will have impressed his new manager, Sam Allardyce.
The winger was a constant threat to the Watford defence with his pace and direct running.
He could have even had a penalty late on when he was brought down by Miguel Britos, but Mark Clattenburg awarded a free-kick to Watford and brandished a yellow card for Zaha.
However, both Zaha and his manager were convinced the penalty should have been given and it did not take the gloss off what was a superb performance from the 24-year-old.
New customer winter madness flash sale: Sky Sports Month Pass for the price of a Week, just 10.99
26 December, better known as "boxing day", promises to be a treat for sports fans. While the Premier League will return to action after a week"s absence, the historic Boxing Day Test that Australia plays every year will also commence. However, Australian fans won"t just be in for the cricketing spoils, because Sri Lanka and South Africa are also scheduled to play Test cricket on the day, while New Zealand host Bangladesh in a one-day game, making for a delightful predicament for cricket purists. Here"s a look at what we can expect on Monday.
Premier League: A scramble for solidity
While the Premier League may not have big name clashes to offer this Boxing Day, the Christmas period has usually proved to be vital for the eventual champions. Current leaders Chelsea will be hoping not to slip up at this stage of the competition, while Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool will be looking to stay in hot pursuit in their respective matches. Former Manchester United manager David Moyes will visit Old Trafford for the first time since his sacking, and having constantly stirred the pot by insinuating United were unfair to him, the Scot will want to back up his statements with a strong performance. United, on the other hand, will be looking to continue their good run in order to keep their hopes of a top four finish alive. Sam Allardyce, who returns to the Premier League as Crystal Palace"s new manager after his disgraceful early exit as England manager, will also look to lift the team to survival as he usually does when he is recruited.
Cricket:Tests to remember
While Australia will play their traditional Boxing Day Test, this time against World No 2 ranked team Pakistan, South Africa will host Sri Lanka and New Zealand host Bangladesh in a one-day international. Australia will be looking to permanently put away talks of a crisis plaguing the squad. Their overhauled squad has delivered two strong performances, which resulted in wins, and will hope to continue the trend against a Pakistan team which showed great resilience in their previous encounter, narrowly missing out on a thrilling victory.
South Africa will host their first Test of the series against Sri Lanka at Porth Elizabeth, and the Proteas are favourites going into the game. After comfortably beating Australia away from home, the Proteas will be aiming to recreate their inspiring performance and show the same solidarity and team spirit that the showed against the Aussies. Despite missing Dale Steyn, AB de Villiers and Morne Morkel, the South Africans looked dangerous against Australia. Sri Lanka are also injury-hit and a series win against Zimbabwe served as their warm-up coming into this Test series.
New Zealand will look to regroup after an ODI series loss to Australia with a win in their home series against Bangladesh. New Zealand are also looking to preserve their fast bowlers Trent Boult and Tim Southee, who are in danger of burning out due to regularly playing all three forms of the game. Meanwhile, Bangladesh will look display vigour away from the sub-continental conditions that they thrive in.
The cricket matches can be viewed on Star Sports 1,2, HD1 and HD 2. For football, be sure to tune in to Star Sports Select HD1 and HD2 starting 6pm on Monday.
A Typical Day on Weight Watchers! - Lost 146 Pounds and Counting!
Oprah Winfreys loss is Weight Watchers shareholders gain.
Thats the pattern the New York business has followed over the past 14 months since the media mogul took a 10 percent stake in the weight loss company and joining its board and becoming its dieter-in-chief.
On Thursday, Weight Watchers International unveiled a new ad campaign, Live Fully, and dropped some big news on America: Oprah has lost more than 40 pounds since she began the program in August 2015!
Winfrey boasts that she slimmed down while following her Weight Watchers plans that she said allowed her to eat whatever she wanted, including tacos, pasta and bread.
Weight Watchers is a lifestyle, she said.
Shares spiked as much as 17 percent during the day before giving up some of the gains and closing up 5.3 percent, to $11.08.
Its not the first time Weight Watchers stock has gotten fat news of Winfreys dieting victories. But the stock spikes, like Winfreys previous weight losses, were short lived.
Weight Watchers shares are still down roughly 50 percent this year.
Winfrey paid $43.2 million on Oct. 19, 2015, for 6.4 million shares or $6.79 a share. The stock doubled that day, reached $26.61 within a month but then collapsed under the weight of disappointing sales.
But overall Oprah has been a boon to the company. This year, membership has grown on average by 11 percent compared with declines as much as 20 percent over the previous eight quarters, Tomlinson said.

Reynolds tweeted Sunday that the family would share any updates on Fisher and thanked the public for its "prayers & good wishes."
Earlier in the day, Oscar winner Sally Field tweeted that she was thinking of the "Star Wars" actress with all her "heart and soul."
Tributes and well-wishes poured in for "Star Wars" actress Carrie Fisher, who was spending Christmas Eve in a Los Angeles hospital after suffering a medical emergency on a flight the day before.
"Princess Leia can survive anything!" wrote one fan on Twitter. "Hold on, Carrie Fisher. We"re taking you into 2017 with us," wrote another. Her "Star Wars" co-star Mark Hamill said he was "sending all our love."
Todd Fisher, the actress" brother, said Friday night that his sister is receiving excellent care, but that he could not classify her condition. He had earlier told The Associated Press that she had been stabilized and was out of the emergency room. In a subsequent interview he said many details about her condition or what caused the medical emergency are unknown.
Fans on Twitter hoped she would pull through. One wrote: "Carrie Fisher survived alcoholism, addiction, depression, bipolar disorder & 60 years in Hollywood. If anyone can survive 2016, it"s her." The actress" former co-star Peter Mayhew, who played "Star Wars" character Chewbacca, called her "everyone"s favorite princess right now."
And Harrison Ford, who played Han Solo opposite Fisher, in a statement said: "I"m shocked and saddened to hear the news about my dear friend. Our thoughts are with Carrie, her family and friends."
Fisher, 60, experienced medical trouble during a Friday flight from London and was treated by paramedics immediately after the plane landed in Los Angeles, according to reports citing unnamed sources.
Celebrity website TMZ, which first reported the incident, said anonymous sources told them the actress suffered a heart attack.
Todd Fisher said much of what had been reported about the incident was speculation.
"We have to wait and be patient," he said. "We have so little information ourselves."
Fisher"s publicists and representatives for her mother, Debbie Reynolds, and her daughter, Billie Lourd, did not return calls from the AP.
Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Erik Scott said paramedics administered advanced life-saving care to a patient at Los Angeles International Airport on Friday and transported the person to a nearby hospital. He did not identify the patient.
A large gathering of media personnel was camped outside Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles hospital, where TMZ and the Los Angeles Times reported she had been taken.
Fisher is considered by many to be a member of Hollywood royalty her parents are Reynolds and the late singer Eddie Fisher.
Catapulted to stardom as Princess Leia in 1977"s "Star Wars," Carrie Fisher reprised the role as the leader of a galactic rebellion in three sequels, including last year"s "Star Wars: The Force Awakens."
The author and actress may be best known for her portrayal of Leia, but she is also an accomplished writer known for no-holds-barred accounts of her struggles with addiction and mental illness.
Most recently, Fisher has been promoting her latest book, "The Princess Diarist," in which she reveals that she and co-star Harrison Ford had an affair on the set of "Star Wars."
A bad cold kept Queen Elizabeth II from attending the traditional Christmas morning church service near her Sandringham estate in rural Norfolk, England, raising some concerns about her health.
It"s extremely rare for Elizabeth, 90, to miss the service, which is a cornerstone of the royal family"s Christmas celebrations and brings the monarch into contact with locals who gather outside for a glimpse of her.
"The Queen continues to recover from a heavy cold and will stay indoors to assist with her recovery," Buckingham Palace said. "Her Majesty will participate in the royal family Christmas celebrations during the day."

Elizabeth has been in generally good health and has maintained an active schedule in the last year despite travelling less often than in the past. Recently she stepped down as patron for about 20 charities and groups to lighten her work load.
The Royal family have attended a Christmas church service without the Queen, who is recovering from a "heavy cold" .
Her husband, 95-year-old Prince Philip, has also cut back on his public schedule and his charitable works in the last few years. He was also suffering from a severe cold earlier in the week, the palace said.
Philip did attend the Sunday morning Christmas service, waving to well-wishers on his way out of the church in a car.
With the Queen stuck at home with a heavy cold, forcing her to skipa traditional Christmas morning church service, the younger members of the royal family stole the show with Prince George and Princess Charlotte sucking on candy canes as they left a church.

This year, Prince William also broke with tradition spendingChristmas with his in-laws.
He and wife Catherine took kids George, 3, and Charlotte,1,to the Duchess of Cambridge"s home village, Bucklebury.
The littlest royals attended theirfirst Christmas communion service, at a 12th-century church in Englefield, near the Middleton family home, the Daily Mailreported.
Catherine"s parents, Carol and Michael Middleton, brother James, and sister Pippa also attended.
Pippa Middleton was expected to marry fianceJames Matthews at thesame church in May.
Prince Harry attended the royals" regular church service near the Queen"s home in Sandringham, alongside his grandfather, Prince Philip.
The 95-year-oldwas also suffering from a heavy cold earlier in the week, the palace said.
As a concession to age and his cold, he drove to the church instead of walking.
Prince Harry spent time talking to local residents after the service and stopped to pat a dog.
Elizabeth has been in generally good health and has maintained an active schedule in the last year despitetravellingless often than in the past.
Philiphas also cut back his public schedule and his charitable works.
There were no signs of other family members being ill. The flu season has hit many Britons hard in the last two weeks and colds and flus are spreading. A cold can be dangerous for people in their 90s, doctors warn.
Earlier this week, the royal couple delayed their departure from London to Sandringham because of their colds buttravelledone day later than expected, using a helicopter instead of a train.
The royal family received some sad news Saturday, when it was revealed that the queen"s granddaughter, Zara Tindall, had suffered a miscarriage while expecting her second child with husband Mike Tindall.
