Body celebration: Both of Christie Brinkley"s daughters Sailor and Alexa Ray Joel have revealed it has been a long road to feel beautiful in their own skin and their Sports Illustrated feature with their mom marks them accepting themselves

Sailor, 18, is a professional model but revealed she struggled for some time to see her body as beautiful.

Reposting the picture of herself, her half-sister and mom in SI, she said on Instagram: "I"ve had issues with my body image since before I can even remember. I grew up not loving how I looked and felt held back because of it.

"I don"t know why I always felt that way, sure I had baby fat and definitely went through a plethora of awkward phases, but I had a family that loved me i had friends who made me laugh etc. But for some reason I still looked in the mirror and always somehow found something to pick on."

While she and her body "have been through it all" the teen said she recently realized she was perfect just the way she was.

A journey: Sailor, 18, is a professional model but revealed she struggled for some time to realize she did not need to be a size zero

@I have been liberated": The teen shared while she and her body "have been through it all" the teen said she recently realized she was perfect just the way she was

"I"ve looked in the mirror and been able to LOVE the things about my body that beauty norms deem ""undesirable"". I now have grown to know that my body is worthy of so many great things. I don"t need to be a size 0 to believe in myself.

"My body carries me each and every day, it loves the people I love, it holds what makes me healthy and strong, it bends it shakes it runs and it CHANGES. That is okay and that is beautiful."

Alexa, 31, confessed she also struggled with how she looked but now says ever women needs to celebrate their bodies.

"Let"s STOP degrading and START celebrating ourselves and others": Alexa said women need to support each other and value their bodies

Final step:Posing for the magazine helped the daughter of Billy Joel further realize her beauty

"Let"s STOP degrading and START celebrating ourselves and others, from both the inside AND out," she wrote on Instagram. "There"s far too much degradation, competition, insecurity, and unhealthy standards associated with women and their bodies - particularly on social-media.

"We are all perfect, just as we are. Please know that. Thank you @si_swimsuit for showcasing all heights, shapes, and sizes. For within our distinctions, our quirks, and our self-perceived ""flaws"" therein lies the beauty."

Posing for the magazine helped the daughter of Billy Joel further realize her beauty.

Important message: the 31-year-old said while she is not a model she is beautiful, and everyone should feel that about themselves

"This was a lesson in learning to let go, take the plunge, and embrace myself from both the inside AND out- which is something I struggle with each and every day. My purpose is to now pass along this lesson of unconditional self-love and self-respect to every woman who"s willing to listen."

Christie, 63, also thanked the magazine to celebrating all body types and ages: "Thank you Sports Illustrated for sending the powerful message that good things come in packages of every size and we do not come with an expiration date!"

While she is now excited to star in the magazine, the model - who first covered the magazine back in 1979 - toldPeoplethat she had to think twice before agreeing to do the shoot.

Icon: Christie had her first cover in 1979, followed up by a second in 1980 (R)

"My first thought was, "At my age? No way!" When I turned 30, I was like, "This is the last time I"m posing in a bathing suit! When this issue comes out, I"ll be 63. I thought, "Those days are over." But to get to do it with my girls, I thought, "One last go!""

In the magazine, the moth daughter team both pose together - with Chrissie "walking on water "- and separately.

The shoot was done in Turks and Caicos. The March issue of Sports Illustrated hits newsstands February 15.

Third time in a row: Then in 1981 she posed again for the publication and thought that would be her last time until this month"s edition

New Orleans area coaches considering boycott against LSU

Drone video shows tornado damage in New Orleans East

NEW ORLEANS Is LSU close to losing one of its most fertile recruiting grounds within the state?

That might be what ultimately occurs on Thursday evening when several of the New Orleans Metro area high school football coaches gather to discuss a potential boycott of the LSU Tigers football program.

Several of the areas black head football coaches are meeting to discuss how coach Ed Orgeron handled the demotion of running backs coach and New Orleans area recruiter Jabbar Juluke in the aftermath of National Signing Day.

Juluke, who was responsible for landing 3-star wide receiver Racey McMath and securing the commitments of 4-star quarterback Lowell Narcisse, 3-star tailback Clyde Edwards-Helaire and 3-star athlete Jontre Kirklin, was reassigned within the football program on Feb. 2, the day after signing day.

Jabbar Juluke was dismissed as LSUs running backs coach and reassigned within the football program following National Signing Day. (Sam Spiegelman/SEC Country)

Area high school football coaches are unhappy with the way Orgeron handled the process, indicating that LSUs first-year head coach took advantage of Juluke through the final weeks of the recruiting cycle to sign the prospects to letters of intent, then dismiss him, sources told SEC Country.

Juluke is the former head coach at Edna Karr (La.) High School, where he coached the team to an undefeated state championship in 2012, the second in the programs history. He continued to recruit New Orleans after accepting a position on Louisiana Techs coaching staff and then for LSU over the past year.

Julukes questionable departure remains one of severalmarquee issues that the coaches plan to discuss at the meeting.

Orgeron has become aware of the closed-door meeting later this week and has been in contact several of the head coaches that are expected to be in attendance, a source said. Orgeron has tried to stop the meeting and told some coaches he will devise a plan to try and correct the situation.

The meeting remains scheduled, and it is expected that the head coaches will move to boycott LSU moving forward.

Some of the schools expected to be in attendance include McDonogh 35, Edna Karr, Landry-Walker, Warren Easton and St. Augustine. These are some of the primary public schools in the city that have produced several LSU signees in recent years, including Leonard Fournette, Tyrann Mathieu, Jamal Pettigrew, Donnie Alexander, Isaiah Washington, Andre Anthony, Tyron Johnson, Sci Martin and, most recently, McMath.

New Orleans is regularly LSUs most fertile recruiting grounds and has produced several of the programs top players in recent years. The source intimated that other SEC programs have gotten wind of the meeting and could capitalize on the boycott, most notably Alabama. St. Augustine alum Burton Burns recruits the New Orleans region for Nick Saban andthe Crimson Tide.

Even with the meeting scheduled to go on as planned, Orgeron is attempting to repair the relationships.

LSUs head coach is in the process of hiring a new area recruiter. He had been in touch with St. Augustine alum David Johnson, Memphis wide receivers coach, who turned down the job because of the growing rift between the area head coaches and LSU, the source said.

Mickey Joseph is believed to be the frontrunner for the position, according to multiple sources.

If and when the boycott begins, Orgeron will attempt to host another meeting with the high school coaches to get everyone on the same page in the aftermath of Julukes dismissal.

Update (3:51 p.m. CT):A source in the Landry-Walker (La.) High School program told SEC Country they will not be a part of Thursdays meeting.

Pep Lifts Lid On Ronaldinho Leaving Barca

Resumen de FC Barcelona vs Athletic Club (3-0)

Former FC Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola has lifted the lid about legendary playmaker Ronaldinho leaving the club, with reports suggesting the Spaniard forced the Brazilian out.

Read:Reports: Messi Wants Star To Leave Barca

When Guardiola was promoted from Barcelonas B-side to take over the first team after Frank Rijkaard left the club in 2008, he reportedly didnt have the clubs fan favourite in his plans.

However, the Manchester City boss now insisted it was the Brazilian who decided it was the right time for him to leave the Catalan giants.

He was a spectacular player, Guardiola said, as quoted by Football Espana.

When we met for the first time, we discussed the possibility of him staying, but he decided that his cycle had come to an end.

Nine years after leaving the Camp Nou, Ronaldinho has now returned to the club and will represent Barcelona as an official club ambassador, as announced by the club.

Ronaldinho is a legend. When he came to Bara he made a name for himself around the world and he brought us success and admiration worldwide, president Josip Maria Bartomeu said in a club statement.

Ronaldinho also has a lot to offer us in terms of the FCBEscola soccer schools around the world.

We want him to help us teach children and for them to learn from him, most of all from his footballing qualities but also as a person.

He is a person who has very similar values to those that Bara hold and he has a winning mentality.

Rutgers will host NBC"s powerful new weather radar system

BAFFLING Weather Radar Anomalies Over Switzerland Unexplained! 5/11/16

NEW BRUNSWICK -- Rutgers University is now home to the most powerful weather radar system in the tri-state area via a new deal with New York"s NBC 4 stationandTelemundo 47, the station announced Thursday.

The new StormTracker 4, powered by one million watts of the "latest, most cutting edge technology," is owned and operated by the station but located on land it"s leasing at Rutgers"Cook Campus. The university"s meteorology students will have access to the radar for their classes, according to Rutgers, which has not yet disclosed the terms of the lease.

StormTracker 4 willtrack storms in real time directly from ground level, providing greater insight on water droplets, hail, sleet, and approaching snow. It can even analyze weather data for a precise street location, according to the station.

The radar can generate 1,000 pulses within the blink of human eye and has a range of 50,000 square miles, NBC said.

"There is nothing likeStormTracker 4," said JaniceHuff, the station"s chief meteorologist.

NBC 4 previously used data from the National Weather Service. The new data will offer an important window into the formation of powerful and dangerous weather systems and should provide local residents with extra time to prepare when bad weather looms, Huff said.

Rutgers, which has the state"s only meteorology program that meets federal standards, was selected as the home for StormTracker 4 in part because of its proximity to Manhattan, the university said.

NBC is granting Rutgers" meteorology students access to theradar imagery to examine it and develop a long-term analysis of climate trends and weather patterns. It will also be used in weather broadcasts produced by RU-TV, the student television station, according to the university.

"We"re excited to give our meteorology students the opportunity to observe the weather as it is developing," said Anthony J. Broccoli, chair of the Department of Environmental Sciences at Rutgers.

Al Cope, a meteorologist at the National Weather Service"s regional forecast office in Mount Holly, said it is not yet known whether the weather service will have access to the weather data that comes from the new radar system at Rutgers.

For now, the two primary radar systems used by the Mount Holly office are at the Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst military complex in Burlington and Ocean counties and at the Dover Air Force base in Delaware. The weather service"s Upton, N.Y., office, which oversees five counties in northern and eastern New Jersey, primarily uses a radar system based on Long Island.

Those systems are part of a network of radar systems across the United States, Cope said.

"They are quite powerful," he said.

Lost Bob Marley Tapes Are Restored After 40 Years in a Basement

For 40 years, 13 reel-to-reel tapes containing live Bob Marley songs sat in a cardboard box in a London hotel basement. They might have landed in the trash if they hadnt been discovered in a building clean-out by a friend of the London businessman Joe Gatt, who alerted his colleague Louis Hoover. Mr. Hoover recognized the value of the tapes immediately. I was speechless, he told The Guardian.

The analog tapes contain the original recordings of Mr. Marleys concerts between 1974 and 1978, at European venues like the Lyceum Theater in London and the Pavillon de Paris.

At first, the two men thought the tapes were unsalvageable because of water damage. There was literally plasticized gunk oozing from every inch and, in truth, saving the sound quality of the recordings looked like it was going to be a hopeless task, Mr. Hoover said. But a sound technician worked for a year to restore the sound quality of 10 out of the 13 tapes to a condition that made the hair on the back of our necks stand up, Mr. Hoover said. The Guardian reported that the project cost about $31,000.

It has not yet been announced whether the recordings, which include the songs No Woman No Cry and I Shot the Sheriff, would be released to the public. a new vinyl set of bob marley & the Wailers Live!, which includes recordings from the 1975 concert at the Lyceum Theater, was released in December.
