The pop star executive produced the soundtrack, which features a few originals alongside the film"s stars covering classic songs like Lionel Richie"s "Hello," Cyndi Lauper"s "True Colors" and Simon & Garfunkel"s "The Sound of Silence." "Can"t Stop the Feeling" was Timberlake"s first single since his posthumous Michael Jackson collaboration "Love Never Felt So Good" was released in 2014, though he continued to debut singles off his 2013 album The 20/20 Experience 2 of 2 until 2015.

Trump will not attend the White House correspondents" dinner
Questions about whether the dinner - an annual gathering of journalists and the people they cover, typically headlined by the sitting president - was appropriate had already existed before Trump took office. Since his inauguration and his increasingly fraught relationship with the press, however, calls to boycott the annual event have grown louder.
Liberal comedian Samantha Bee announced in January that she was planning an alternative event on the same night for "journalists and non-irritating celebrities from around the world." (Its tentative name: "Not the white house correspondents" dinner."
