Leslie Jones Is In Rio And It"s Awesome
Kerri Walsh Jennings and April Ross have advanced to the quarterfinals of Beach Volleyball - and no one is more excited than Leslie Jones.
The comedian has become a fixture of the Rio Olympics after she began hilariously live tweeting the games from her living room last week.
NBC then invited Jones to the games, finally giving her the chance to meet the athletes she had been admiring from behind a screen, including Walsh Jennings.
Leslie bowed down as the volleyball superstars first walked toward her, but Walsh Jennings quickly lifted her up and straight into a hug.

Jones then gave Walsh Jennings and Ross one of her famous pep talks before her idol gave the comedian a special pin to wear for the rest of the Rio Olympics
In another hilarious Twitter video, Jones showed the moment she gave Walsh Jennings and Ross one of her famous pep talks.
You came out hard and strong, but yall put that fire out, yall let em know whose number one, we gonna take this! she told the women.
Walsh Jennings then pinned her and told her not to lose it during her next week in Rio, but Jones could only excitedly scream "Oh my G*d!"
It was the beautiful culmination to Jones" superfandom of Walsh Jennings, which she has been happy to share on social media during the Rio games.
"Keri! USA! USA! USA!" Jones can be heard screaming as the three-time Olympic gold medalist and her teammate claimed another victory in Rio.

In one tweet Jones asked her fans to send good energy to Walsh Jennings and Jones.

And when Jones asked the pair if she was officially meeting them after their match on Friday night, Walsh Jennings said she couldn"t wait, and asked Jones to send them some words of luck.
"GO GO GO YOU MIGHTY WARRIORS OF THE SAND!!," Jones wrote. "YOU GOT THIS!! AND YOU LOOK HOT DOING IT!! CHEAH SLAY ALL DAY USA!"
Jones kept the live tweets coming for her fans as she walked to meet her idol, telling them "I"m on my way to meet Kerri Walsh, I am losing all of my f*****g s**t right now."

Jones caught judo and trampoline before she headed to beach volleyball, watching the men"s match before Walsh Jennings and Ross stepped into the sand.
"Where are the speedos?" she inquired as she watched the men play.
Jones made sure to send her love to USA"s swimming team, as she had to miss Phelps" and Ledecky"s final individual races in Rio to catch Walsh Jennings.
"Slay all muthaf*****g day!" she wrote after another golden night for Team USA in the pool, including a world record by Ledecky.
"USA made that pool their b***h!"
Jones got to cheer on Phelps on Thursday night in Team USA"s personal cheering section, thanks to his teammate Conor Dwyer.

It was there that she met Olympic gold medalist Lily King and hung out with massive swim fan (and Academy Award-winning actor) MatthewMcConaughey.
Jones, 48, started off her first day in Rio by catching the incredible women"s gymnastics all-around competition, where Simone Biles took gold.
"I just watched USA win a gold and silver medal! Yeah, I just did that!" Leslie said.
"Them folks down there got real medals, yo. So if I ran on the floor and snatched one of the medals, do you think they would beat my a***?," she joked.
The SNL star shared her amazement after arriving in Rio earlier on Thursday.
"We"re going through the streets of Rio... it"s crazy!" she said."It"s official y"all. I"m in Rio."
"We"re on our way to gymnastics, Man. We about to go see the USA kill it, man. That"s what we do."
Leslie quickly headed to the gymnastics as she cheered on Aly Raisman and Simone Biles as they won gold and silver in the all-around individual competition

"I really feel like there"s a lot of sexuals up in there," she joked while driving by the Olympic Village where athletes live during the competition
Driving past the Rio coastline, she added: "I"m telling you right now, the camera is not doing no justice for how beautiful this water is."
The actress kept the silly videos coming as she showed off her hotel, bragged about driving in the "Olympic lane" and speculated about all the hookups happening at the Olympic Village.
"Yeah b***ches, I am in Rio," she said, sharing video of her hotel"s pool."This is how we do it in Rio! I don"t see no d**n Zika nowhere," she said.
Arriving at the Olympic Village, the stand-up speculated about all the action going on between athletes, and joked about getting busted by the tough security.
"450,000 condoms CHEAH!", Leslie captioned a video of the apartment towers.
"Where all the athletes live at, yo. It"s called the Olympic Village," she explained, adding: "I really feel like there"s a lot of sexuals up in there. A lot of sexuals."

After she finally arrived at the gymnastics, the Top Five actress was quick to share the view from her seats and plot to get closer to the athletes.
"I am like actually here, watching these lovely gymnasts," she marveled, adding: "I"m trying to get a closer seat tho."
"Let"s go Aly! Team USA! Champion!" she cheered as she posted video of the warm-ups and the all-around competition.
The stand-up vet and Olympics die-hard was offered a job covering Rio for NBC after her enthusiastic live-Tweeting and love of the Games went viral last week.
Her coverage of the Games marked a triumphant comeback to Twitter, after Leslie quit the network in June over a torrent of racist and sexist abuse aimed at her by trolls angry that the "Ghostbusters" remake had replaced the original male cast with women.
In Rio, Leslie will attend live swimming, track and field, gymnastics, and beach volleyball, and will meeting athletes and share her passion for the Olympics on-air and online, NBC said.
