ThinkGeek will open a new retail store in Crossgates Mall.
ThinkGeek, an online retailer of pop culture and science toys, gifts and gadgets, is opening a brick-and-mortar store in Albany, New York.
Crossgates Mall, located at 1 Crossgates Mall Road, announced the retailer will open this December in the mall.

For the past year, the previously online-only retailer, which specializes in items from series such as Star Wars, Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead, has been opening physical stores across the country.
Additionally, the Times Union reports Spanish clothing retailer Zara will open its first upstate retail location next year at Crossgates.
The closest Zara and ThinkGeek stores in the state are at the Palisades Center in West Nyack, Rockland County.
ThinkGeek is opening stores in Buffalo and Suffolk County in November.
