Palcohol gets federal approvalStory by CBS12 Web teamWEST PALM BEACH (CBS12) -- Palcohol, or powdered alcohol, has gained federal approval, despite fears of the powder being snorted or over-used.
Palcohol is simply freeze-dried alcohol packaged in a small, portable pouch.
One pouch mixed with 6 ounces of water, can create an instant alcoholic beverage.
Four flavors of the palcohol were approved. Those include lemon drop, margarita, vodka and rum.
The company hopes to have the palcohol available this summer, according to a statement from the palcohol website.
