Besides his rare public outings outings, West, who is married to reality star Kim Kardashian, has been laying low since his meltdown and nine-day stay at UCLA Medical Center in L.A. for exhaustion and dehydration. The Famous rapper reportedly had a breakdown at his trainer Harley Pasternaks home on November 21 before being admitted to the hospital. Sources tell Us that the Grammy winner was stressed out over work, including his Saint Pablo Tour, and was struggling to cope with the aftermath of his wifes Paris robbery in October. The timing of the hospitalization also coincided with the anniversary of the death of his mother,Donda West.

However, a source close to West denies the family is living separately and says that he, Kardashian and the kids are at home.

Kim really wants to protect the kids and will do everything she can to see that that happens, another source previously told Us. Kanye has not seen the kids very much since he was released, and Kim does not think he should. She has no plans for them to all live together.

THE ROAST OF KANYE WEST

Kanye West is a Donald Trump supporter.

I said something that was kind of politically correct. I told yall I didnt vote, right? But I didnt tell you I guess I told you but if I wouldve voted, I wouldve voted on Trump, West confessed at a San Jose concert Thursday night.

That dont mean that I dont think that Black Lives Matter, that I dont mean that I dont think I believe in womens rights because that was the guy I wouldve voted for, West explained.

In March, a source told Page Six that West was not going to vote for Trump but he supports him.

The musician also implored his fans to stop talking about race so much.

This world is racist, OK? Lets stop being distracted to focus on that as much. Its just a fking fact. We are in a racist country, period. Do not allow people to make us talk about that so fking long. Lets talk about whatever the f- we wanna talk about, he said.

West wasnt the only member of his family sympathetic to Trump.

Caitlyn Jenner, formerly married to Kris Jenner, reportedly tried to persuade Kim Kardashian to vote for Trump.

Last year, West said hed run for president in 2020.

Kanye West declares he would have voted for Trump, if he voted at all

Kanye West: ‘I Would Have Voted on Trump’ - The Drop Presented by ADD

Kanye West is no stranger to controversy in fact one could argue that he absolutely loves it but what he said on stage during last nights Saint Pablo Tour concert in San Jose still came as a shock to many of his fans: West declared that he would have voted for Donald Trump.

During an impromptu break in his show, West went full-on political and began alengthy rant by announcing that not only did he not vote in this years presidential election which prompted some uproar from the massive audience but that if he had voted, Donald Trump would have been his candidate.

DONT MISS:10 hidden iPhone tricks Apple never told you about

Westcontinued, marching into a political quagmire where he asked the crowd who voted for Clinton and who voted for Trump, only to point out that he doesnt actually care who anyone voted for.

One brave Twitter user relayed much of Wests rant in real-time, as the performer slowly moved the conversation from the 2016 election to 2020:

"Echoing is what made people think Hillary was going to win, you thought because what the Internet was telling you, that she was gonna win"

Raptor (@RaptorJesuss) November 18, 2016

"Rappers are philosophers of our now, celebrities are the influencers of our now, just look at the president, he wasn"t in politics & won"

Raptor (@RaptorJesuss) November 18, 2016

Kanye just said he thinks he"ll have the experience in 2020 to run for office, I"m dead serious, Kanye just said he"s preparing for 2020.

Raptor (@RaptorJesuss) November 18, 2016

Eventually, a portion of the audience began to grow tired of the political talk, and it got to the point where West found himself at the receiving end of random objects thrown from the crowd.

Kanye just stopped Jesus Walks, talking about how Trump is a genius.

Raptor (@RaptorJesuss) November 18, 2016

Someone threw something at Kanye that hit him, he"s now threatening to cancel the show. "Am I not allowed to have an opinion?"

Raptor (@RaptorJesuss) November 18, 2016

The concert didnt carry on much longer, as both West and the audience had seemingly had as much as they could stand.

Kanye then says "Neither candidate would fix racism in this country" Walks off stage, end of concert. WOW.

Raptor (@RaptorJesuss) November 18, 2016

West has been teasing a 2020 presidential run for some time, having tweeted about it several times during the lead-up to the election and afterwards. Its easy to brush it all off as entertainment, but if you rewind the clock four years the same is largely true for Donald Trump. At this point in American politics its abundantly clear that literally anything can happen.

Police Clear Out Thousands of Fans at Kanye West Pop-up Show in New York City

Kanye West Debuts New "Pablo" Merch at Governors Ball Festival

What was billed as a surprise Kanye West show in New York City quickly turned to chaos overnight as thousands of fans descended on the venue.

An estimated 3,000 to 4,000 people swarmed Webster Hall, which holds 1,500 people, in Manhattans East Village early this morning for the pop-up show, police said.

West had hinted on social media that he was going to do the show after his performance scheduled for the Governor"s Ball on nearby Randalls Island Park was canceled Sunday because of inclement weather.

The secret show was supposed to start at 2 a.m. and, according to West"s Twitter page, was sold out by 1 a.m.

Video had poured in on social media showing dozens of people standing on cars, dumpsters, fire escapes and even a postal truck, trying to get a glimpse of the rap star.

But shortly before 2 a.m., Webster Hall tweeted that there would be no show because of the out-of-control crowds that had formed outside the site.

But West then briefly appeared outside Webster Hall at around 2:15 a.m., circling the block while waving to throngs of cheering supporters through his sunroof and shaking hands with fans, who chased him down Third Avenue. Ultimately, West never got out of the vehicle because of security concerns and left without performing.

Police then worked to disperse the crowd soon after. One person at the scene was arrested for disorderly conduct, according to an official.

ABC News" Mark Crudele and Rachel Katz contributed to this report.

Kanye West Tries To Defend His Lyrics Against Taylor Swift In "Famous"

Famous

The Kanye West and Taylor Swift controversy has been talked about to death. And trust us, we wouldloveto just put it to bed and never think about it again (except for our yearly Remember when posts, of course). But one person in particular just cant let sleeping dogs lie: Kanye West himself.

West stirred up the controversy again when he released the song Famous onThe Life Of Pablo. With lyrics that were clearly referencing the West/Swift spat from the2009 MTV Video Music Awards, Kanye says, I feel like me and Taylor might still have s*x //Why? I made that b***h famous (G*d d**n). Pretty compelling stuff.

Butat Paradise International Music Festival in The Philippines two weekends ago, Westperformed his most recent album for the first time and came to the defense of Famous.

What I wanted you to know the whole time in the spirit of Nina Simone, in the spirit of real artists, this is the song that broke the writers block for me because its something I wanted to say so bad that they told me I couldnt say, he told the crowd. That night when I went onstage was the beginning of the end of my life. Lady Gaga canceled the tour the next day. You know what night Im talking about. When I just said what everybody else was thinking. So if I get in trouble for saying the truth, whats being said the rest of the time?

Its a little hard to take Kanye seriously as he plays the victim in this case. Then again, hes never been known for discretion or keeping quiet at the right times. Wed love for this to be the end of the story. Wed love for Taylor Swift to hear this and think, Okay, and go right on with her day. Wed love that. Well have to see if it really happens, though.

Grammys: Sam Smith wins big; Kanye West stunt gets priceless reactions

LOS ANGELES (AP) Sam Smiths soulful sound and heartbreaking songs resonated with fans and his breakthrough was solidified when he took home three of the top four Grammy Awards on Sunday, though Beck earned a surprise win for album of the year.

I want to thank the man who this record is about Thank you so much for breaking my heart because I have four Grammys, said the British singer, who won best new artist, song and record of the year for Stay with Me and best pop vocal album for In the Lonely Hour.

Smith, along with Beyonce, Pharrell and Ed Sheeran, lost album of the year Sunday to Becks Morning Phase, which also won best rock album. Smith said backstage he was surprised Beyonce didnt win, but said Beck deserved to walk away with the trophy.

KanyeWest, who famously interrupted Taylor Swift when she beat Beyonce at the MTV Video Music Awards, briefly walked onstage when Prince announced Becks name. Some in the audience seemed shocked, from Pharrell to Questlove to Beck himself.

Becks album debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 albums chart and sold about 300,000 units. He last won a Grammy in 2000.

Pharrell, who was the top nominee with six along with Beyonce and Smith, walked away with three awards, as did Rosanne Cash. The rapper-singer-producer won best pop solo performance for a live version of Happy, released in 2013 as well as best music video for the song and urban contemporary album for G I R L, beating Beyonce.

I am going to moonwalk my way off the stage right now, said Pharrell, wearing a blazer and shorts.

The awards at the Staples Center featured a number of collaborative performers: Beck sang onstage with Chris Martin; Beyonce was pitch perfect as she performed Precious Lord, Take My Hand before Common and John Legend performed the Oscar-nominated Glory from Selma; Actress Kristen Wiig danced with teen Maddie Ziegler while Sia sang Chandelier with her head turned: and Hans Zimmer and Lang Lang joined Pharrell for a dramatic and awkward performance of Happy.

Rihanna gave an impressive vocal performance of FourFiveSeconds with Paul McCartney to her right andKanyeWest to her left. Her hair slicked back, she rocked a black suit like her co-stars. She won best rap/sung collaboration for The Monster with Eminem.

Katy Perry, in all white, sang the ballad By the Grace of G*d after a woman who had been abused talked about getting help and moving on with her life. A video of President Barack Obama appeared before she spoke, and he encouraged artists to help out.

Its on us, all of us, to create a culture where violence isnt tolerated, he said.

Another serious moment came when Prince appeared onstage to introduce album of the year.

Albums you remember those? They still matter. Like books and black lives, they still matter, he said.

Madonna, dressed as a matador, performed Living for Love atop a platform surrounded by a plethora of background dancers wearing bull masks. A choir did most of the singing, while Madonna danced and the audience clapped in unison. She ascended into the air as the performance finished.

West performed on a nearly pitch-black stage, with a light glowing from under his feet (he also sported the new sneakers he designed). He sang the new song about his late mother, Only One. And Annie Lennox was a powerhouse when she sang I Put A Spell On You and joined Hozier for Take Me to Church, which was nominated for song of the year.

Beyonce won best R&B song and R&B performance for Drunk In Love and surround sound album for Beyonce.

This has been such an incredible year, she said, thanking her beloved husband and my daughter who is watching.

AC/DC kicked off the show with a performance of their latest single, Rock or Bust, and then transitioned into the classic Highway to h**l. It earned a rousing applause from Pharrell, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry, who wore devil horns.

Cash, who won all of her awards in the Grammy pre-show, was excited backstage after winning back-to-back Grammys.

Reagan was president last time I won a Grammy, said Cash, who won best American roots performance, American roots song and Americana album. I just showed up for work for 35 years and this is what happened.

Double winners included Eminem, Chick Corea, the Frozen soundtrack and Kendrick Lamar, who lost in seven categories last year. The performer marked a redemption by taking home best rap performance and rap song for i.

Hear Paul McCartney and Kanye West's Emotional Ballad 'Only One'

By Jason Newman | January 1, 2015

D'Angelo notwithstanding, there were no Beyonce-esque surprise albums for the end of 2014. But as the clock turned on another year Wednesday night, Kanye Westunveiled "Only One," a minimal, poignant new track featuring Paul McCartneyon keyboard. The song is available to hear on West's websiteor via the iTunes store.

Written from the perspective of Kanye's late mother Donda, who died in 2007 from surgery complications, "Only One" sounds like a bittersweet bonus trackfromKanye's 808s and Heartbreak. "Remember how I'd say one day/You'll be the man you always knew you would be," West's Auto-Tuned voice sings. "And if you knew how proud I was/You'd never shed a tear/Have a fear/No you wouldn't do that." McCartney, for his part, eschew any histrionics in favor of a simple and plaintive style befitting the emotional lyrics."My mom was singing to me, and through me to my daughter," West said in a statement, also noting that the name "Kanye" means "Only one."

The surprise track appears to be more jumping-off point for the two icons than random one-off. According to a spokesperson for West, "Only One" is the first "publicly available recording from what has become a prolific musical collaboration between these two legendary artists."

McCartney and West began work on the track earlier last year in Los Angeles, starting with, as the statement notes,"a simple brainstorming session between the two, with McCartney improvising on the keyboards and Kanye vocally sketching and shaping ideas in a stream-of-consciousness riff.

"Kanye sat there with his family, holding his daughter North on his lap, and listened to his vocals, singing, 'Hello, my only one...,'" the statement said. "And in that moment, not only could he not recall having sung those words, but he realized that perhaps the words had never really come from him.The process of artistic creation is one that does not involve thinking, but often channeling. And he understood in that moment that his late mother, Dr. Donda West, who was also his mentor, confidante, and best friend, had spoken through him that day."

As Complex notes, West's wife Kim Kardashian called "Only One" her favorite track by her husband.

McCartney's Kanye fandom extends back to at least 2013. Asked in a Twitter Q&Afor the last albums he bought, the musician replied, "The last albums I bought were by Kanye West, the National, the Civil Wars and Jay Z."
