Time to celebrate! Justin Bieber took his rumored new girlfriend, Sofia Richie, to Mexico for a romantic private getaway in honor of her recent 18th birthday, a source tells Us Weekly.

The Let Me Love You singer, 22, and the model who turned 18 on Wednesday, August 24 departed on a private jet together from Los Angeles to Cabo San Lucas on Friday, August 26.

Richie documented the flight with a series of Snapchat posts. In one pic, she sipped on what appears to be a glass of soda. Getaway, she captioned the shot. She also shared a video of Bieber running back and forth on the jet in an attempt to make his new lady laugh.

A source tells Us that the new couple are spending the weekend at Las Ventanas al Paraso, a luxury Rosewood resort.

Shortly after arriving in Cabo, Richie (who is the daughter of Lionel Richie and the younger sister ofNicole Richie) gushed about the first night of the pairs lovey-dovey vacation on Snapchat. She uploaded a picture of a table decorated with red roses and candles (displayed in the shape of a heart, of course).

The next day, the duo enjoyed some rest and relaxation while basking in the sunlight. Happy, the teen beauty captioned a Snapchat photo of a lounge chair and towels outside of the luxury resort.

Richie also took to Instagram on Saturday, August 27, to share a pic of her scenic view of Cabo through the doorway of the couples resort. In the shot, a shirtless man that appears to be Bieber walks around in the distance, snapping a photo near the water.

Earlier this week, the blonde model wasnt so happy about her 18th birthday because she spent the day in a doctors office. Of course Im sick [the] day before my birthday.Anything else want to go wrong, she wrote on Snapchat at the time.

Jelena lives on! Selena Gomez had a few words of wisdom for ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber after he slammed fans for being so mean to his rumored girlfriend, Sofia Richie, Sunday, August 14.

In a comment captured by The Shade Room, Gomez, 24, called Bieber, 22, out for threatening to make his Instagram account private after fans dissed Richie, 22, with snake emojis and rude accusations.

If you cant handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your girlfriend lol - it should be special between you two only, Gomez wrote. Dont be mad at your fans. They love you.

Earlier on Sunday, the What Do You Mean singer had captioned a black-and-white shot of himself with his new love, who has joined him on his tour in Japan, with the words: Im gonna make my Instagram private if you guys dont stop the hate this is getting out of hand, if you guys are really fans you wouldnt be so mean to people that I like.

His fans instantly took offense to Biebers harsh reprimand, dismissing the singer for his threat.

You dont act like you love them, one commenter wrote. Respect them! Without them you wouldnt be where you are today! Remember that!

After Gomez commented on her exs Instagram photo, her fans came forward to slam Bieber as well, commenting on another photo he posted Sunday.

Selena is very intelligent, one fan wrote. Justin fans are like customers into a store and the store is you.

Lets all unfollow him, another suggested. Another commented: Otherwise you would still be that boy playing alongside the street making jams for coins.

Bieber later replied to Gomez"s comment, writing, "It"s funny to see people that used me for attention and still try to point the finger this way. Sad. All love."

He followed it up five minutes later with another comment that was screen-grabbed by a Gomez fan: "I"m not one for anyone receiving hate. Hope u all can be kind to my friends and eachother. And yes I love my beliebers."

Bieber only recently began to follow Gomez again in June after a long hiatus. (He previously unfollowed her on the social media site in November 2014 after the pair split.)

"Justin Bieber recently followed Selena on Instagram," one Jelena believer tweeted after that took place. A second added: "Waiting for Selena to log on to Instagram and follow Justin back but knowing [her] she probably won"t "
