Jaden Smith gives a wink to the cameras while leaving the Calabasas Commons on Friday (September 2) in Calabasas, Calif.
The 18-year-old actor met up with longtime friend Mateo Arias for lunch at Sugarfish.
In his recent interview for Interview mag, Jaden opened up about his parents Will and Jada Pinkett Smith being his biggest role models.
My parents are definitely my biggest role models. And thats where me and Willow both pull all of our inspiration from to change the world, he shared.
Jaden added, It all comes from a concept of affecting the world in a positive way and leaving it better than it was than when we came. I feel like that enters into all types of different areas because there are so many different outlets that life has to offer for us. That goes into technology, into music. That goes into science, into spirituality, into education.

Jaden Smith falls victim to another Internet death hoax
Death hoaxes are nothing new to celebrities or the Internet. Every once in a while a legitimate-looking article will pop up saying a big-name celebrity has died is some sort of bizarre or tragic accident.
Jaden Smith, Will Smith"s son, is the latest target. An article has started popping up on Facebook claiming that Smith committed suicide in late July. The headline sites legitimate sources like CNN, but when you click in, an ad pops up and leads you to a super sketchy site.
TOTAL FLOP: "Suicide Squad" critics not sure how to feel about the film
This isn"t the first time Smith has been the target of a death hoax. Around 2012 or 2013 Smith was said to have died in a tragic snowboarding accident. Rest assured, he was alive then and is alive now.
The rumors have since been disproved, so we can all rest easy.
Jaden is one of many celebrities who have been victims of death hoaxes. Take a look through the gallery above to see who else the Internet claimed was dead at one time or another.

Somewhere during his progression from child movie star to genderbending quasi-philosopher on social media, Jaden Smith became a style icon.
At this years Met Gala the 17-year-old turned heads with his sister, Willow, and at this weeks Louis Vuitton Cruise 2017 collection he was at it again, fitting in seamlessly to the shows setting at the Niteroi Contemporary Art Museum in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Jaden Smithis expanding the definition of "menswear" for millions of millennials, but he"s not just a trendsetter, his gender fluidity is creating a profitable brand. Once upon a time, a young Black man wearing a dress was career suicide.
Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith"s son has turned a few eyebrow-raising Instagram pics into big business, according to The Wrap. The young star landed lucrative contracts with everyone from Louis Vuitton to Nicholas Ghesquiere.
Not only that, but his rejection of traditional gender roles isn"t costing him a thing in terms of popularity or Hollywood heat: Jaden is one of the most exciting rising stars in the business, according to many, and his exposure will skyrocket after the premiere of Baz Luhrmann"s new Netflix show The Get Down, in which he stars.
All in all, Jaden is expressing himself in a unique way for a someone as high profile as he is, and it"s only helping his career. How long before other young gender fluid stars follow suit? Or more affordable brands like H&M feature men modeling their womenswear and vice versa?
Though Jaden is by no means the first young man to experiment with gender, he is among the most high profile and could be at the forefront of something big.

Just last month, Jaden Smith said his wardrobe is inspired by superheroes and that "if somebody is just wearing something for the blogs, that's really sad because they're not living for themselves."
And his latest fashion statement is keeping true to that mantra: The 16-year-old actor-rapper stepped out in what appeared to be a women's black dress paired over denim shorts in Calabasas, California, and also shared photos of his outfits on social media.
Smith, the son of Jada and Will Smith, took to Twitter Thursday to shoot down restrictive style rules.

Smith has been vocal about his sartorial independence. Earlier in the week, he told fans he went to Topshop "to buy some girl clothes, I mean 'clothes.' "
On Saturday, he shared photos of the long, striped number.
Smith has been flexible in fashion for some time, though, introducing gender-neutral tunics and skirts into his 2013 line of clothes for his own label, MSFTSrep. But his threads stretch well beyond ladies wear. He donned an Iron Man costume to hang out with friend Kylie Jenner in May 2013, then wore a pristine white Batman suit to attend the lavish Italian wedding of Jenner's sister Kim Kardashian and Kanye West last May.
