She"s known for playing a nerdy teen on ABC"s Modern Family.

But Ariel Winter was far from her geeky TV persona as she frolicked on the beach in the Bahamas last week.

The 18-year-old put her incredible bikini body on display in a stringy white two-piece with gold chains clasping her bottoms together.

Beach babe: Ariel Winter was far from her geeky TV persona as she frolicked on the beach in the Bahamas last week

The actress was accompanied by her boyfriend Laurent Gaudette as they frolicked in the sand together during their stayat the Atlantis in the Bahamas.

Ariel struck a series of sultry poses as she crawled on her hands and knees near the shoreline to the delight of her beau who carried a camera with him.

The star, who plays good student Alex on Modern Family, wore her fiery auburn hair in flowing waves over her shoulders.

Coconut juice: The actress sipped on a cold drink while watching the surf

She then tied her gorgeous hair back into a loose ponytail as she played in the sand.

Ariel"s bikini top was fastened by a gold chain as she romped around the playful surf in thecoral-based archipelago.

The actress seemed to take a break from boyfriend Laurent in December but since her 18th birthday in January the two appear to be inseparable again.

Quite the pose! Ariel performed some stretches poolside at the Atlantis in the Bahamasbefore heading to the beach

More yoga on the beach: The star loosened up as her beau watched on

Making a splash! Ariel looked to be having the time of her life in the tropical paradise

Amping up! The star got a yoga pose ready to go as her friend cheered her on

In December Entertainment Tonight reported the two were over. At the same time the actress posted a note about Beyonce"s Single Ladies, hinting she no longer had a boyfriend.

Laurent is a year older than his famous girlfriend and first began dating the actress over two years ago.

Meanwhile, Winter underwent breast reduction because her large chest was making her "unhappy." The Modern Family star underwent surgery to reduce her enormous F-cup bra size.

Suzanne in the sand: The star dipped her toes in the water as she enjoyed the sun and sand

Beach lovers: The two shared a passionate smooch as the surf washed over them

Young love: The duo seemed to be having the time of their lives together

"Having so much weight on my frame was affecting me psychologically," she confessed. "I was uncomfortable and unhappy. It wasn"t because I didn"t like how I looked," she wrote in anessay for Motto,a new website from the editors of Time.

She added: "Women are already over-sexualised and I grew into my body so young. I was 13, 14 years old and I looked 19. Suddenly, people didn"t want to talk about my job - they just wanted to talk about my cleavage."

Fun in the sun: The Modern Family favourite clutched her phone as she surveyed the gorgeous landscape

Hashing it out: The star appeared to be planning the day"s events with her vacation pals, including Modern Family co-starNolan Gould

Just like Ariel: The star"s hair looked quite similar to the famous mermaid

Hate to see you go but love to watch you leave: The actress made quite an impression on the beach, including it appears on Nolan

The award-winning actress stated: "I chose surgery because of how I felt, not because of what anyone else thought."

Ariel insisted she was never bothered by the negative comments she received about her figure online and her decision was made purely to please herself.

"People may find it hard to believe but when I got my breast-reduction surgery last year, it wasn"t because of the mean comments online."

"Afterwards, I automatically felt so much happier and just better physically," she added. "My back and shoulders didn"t hurt any more!"

Beach babe: The actress was most certainly the main attraction on the sand aside from the stunning tropical views

Before: Ariel looked vastly different before she went under the knife for her life changing surgery

Sexy selfie: Ariel smouldered in a sexy SnapChat image before she went under the knife

(April 10, 2016) Its time to let your brothers and sisters know how much you appreciate them. Sunday is National Siblings Day!

Every year on April 10, theday is observed to honor the bonds between brothers and sisters.

According to the Siblings Day Foundation, New Yorker Claudia Evart founded this day after she lost both her siblings early in life. She chose April 10 because that was the birthday of her late sister, Lisette.

Siblings Day follows the spirit of Mothers Day and Fathers Day a great American tradition and celebration of family-unit values, the organizations website says. It is an uplifting celebration honoring people who have shaped our values, beliefs and ideals.

It isnt an official national recognized holiday, but the Siblings Day Foundation is actively petitioning the White House to issue a presidential proclamation.

People on social media are posting photos with their siblings using the hashtag #NationalSiblingsDay.

CNN contributed to this article.

NBA Playoffs 2016: Standings update -- While you were sleeping April 6th

ASIAN GUYS TALK NBA: Playoffs 2015 - 2016!

This was a busy night in the NBA, with 13 of 15 Western Conference teams in action. And as usual, there were a few surprises. For one, the Dubs lost while Philly won.

No new teams in the West were eliminated, and no new teams made the playoffs though.

Western Conference Cheat Sheet:

The Good:

The Bad:

The "Meh":

The Chase:

The Memphis Grizzlies took out the Chicago Bulls and kept the Portland Trail Blazers behind them. I"m impressed. For reals.

The Utah Jazz failed to capitalize on Dallas and Houston being idle. Oh well. Dallas is now up on Utah by 0.5 games, and Utah is up on Houston by 0.5 games as well. Nope. Not at all stressful.

Tonight"s Games:

  • [3] Oklahoma City Thunder @ [6] Portland Trail Blazers -- Go Thunder? Maybe?
  • [4] Los Angeles Clippers @ [15] Los Angeles Lakers -- This is the worst back-to-back / home-and-home set ever. Last night it was LAL @ LAC. Just silly.
  • [7] Dallas Mavericks vs. [9] Houston Rockets -- We"re going for the Rockets here because of tie-breaker purposes. Trust me on this one.
  • [12] New Orleans Pelicans @ Boston Celtics -- Exciting times for the Pelicans, they lost to the Philadelphia 76ers last night. For reals.

So the Utah Jazz lost. It"s not the end of the world. There are four games left, and Utah just needs to go 2-2 over the next four games to most likely make it. Just beat the Mavs.

Masters 2016: Danny Willett wins after Jordan Spieth"s disaster at the 12th

Ronnie O"Sullivan v Barry Hawkins Final Masters 2016

The agony of Jordan Spieth admitted the ecstasy of Danny Willett. One hour which surely imposed psychological scarring on the 22-year-old Texan shaped a path for Willett to etch his name into the record books. That a 28-year-old vicars son from Rotherham walked it without so much as a wobble is worthy of immense credit.

More importantly for Willett, Masters champion, it befits winning a Green Jacket. The cruelty element is that Spieth was obliged to present it to him.

Related: Masters champion Danny Willett toasts mind-boggling Augusta triumph

This fairytale began on 30 March, when Willett became a father. Owing to that unpredictable but impending circumstance there had been a question mark as to whether or not he would even take part in this tournament. Less than a fortnight after the arrival of baby Zachariah James, daddy was at the epicentre of one of the most jaw-droppingly exciting afternoons in Masters history. Bare statistics of Willetts final-round 67, five-under total and three-shot win belie exceptional stuff.

Willett is only the second Englishman to win the Masters, the first European to take that prize since 1999 and he is suddenly catapulted into a level of scrutiny completely alien even when he was in the hitherto hardly insignificant placing of 12th in the world.

No tale of this event, though, can pass without deep mention of Spieths tribulations. Shortly after 5pm on Sunday the defending champion reached seven under and held a five-stroke lead. Spieth subsequently bogeyed the 10th, which barely registered with the crowds, but a dropped shot on the 11th combined with Willetts birdie three holes ahead prompted collective cries of hang on.

Spieth, 20 years on from Greg Normans epic capitulation to Nick Faldo here, was to feature in an uncharacteristic horror show of his own. The 12th provided 155 yards of abject terror for Spieth and the first quadruple bogey of his professional career. Willett was three clear by the end of it. American golf fans checked Wikipedia.

Typically, as befitting a champion, Spieth summoned the only instinct he knows but he was to fall short; tied second for a second time in three years will offer absolutely no consolation. His closing stretch became painful to watch.

As the defending champion battled in vain, Lee Westwood and Dustin Johnson did likewise. Westwood, who shares a management company with the champion, was also Willetts playing partner and will take heart from evidence that the claiming of a major title is still not beyond him but elements of jealousy and hurt would be only natural. He shared second place with Spieth.

On an inside wall of the Augusta National clubhouse a series of bronze plaques show the celebratory poses of Masters winners. Willetts image will join them and the fact that it will would have defied belief from the moment Spieth made the 50-yard walk from 9th green to 10th tee, cheered every step of this narrow corridor by adoring crowds. They thought they were acclaiming the 2016 champion.

The improbability of a Spieth meltdown to anything like what transpired will resonate. He showed no mercy when sealing Masters success one year ago, just as glory at the US Open two months later demonstrated the matching of G*d-given ability with ferocious competitive spirit. When Spieth leads, he wins; he had been in front at Augusta since Thursday. The breaking of that run came in front of an astonished audience.

And yet traces of impending trauma had been visible. Spieth did not seem wholly content all week and rose to the top of the pile when clearly displaying his B game to the extent that he called back his coach, Cameron McCormick, from Dallas between rounds three and four. On each of those instances Spieth had appeared on site three hours before tee time to iron out flaws. His driving had proved erratic, as offset by a recurring ability to pull off escape acts.

There had been routinely good fortune, such as at the 4th on Sunday when a horribly carved tee shot, apparently bound for a different zip code, instead rebounded from a tree into semi-rough. Spieth was to make par. This was far from an isolated incident; begging the obvious questionas to how long he could continue unscathed.

Willett was the man to take advantage when Spieths wheels flew off. Any onlooker could only admire the nerveless manner in which he played the last two holes, with straight pars after making birdie at the 16th, when doubtless aware of the life-changing prize within view. Willett grasped opportunity with confidence.

Rory McIlroy found himself in the unusual position of being an afterthought to this incredible drama. The Northern Irishmans Masters quest was ruined on Saturday in reality but a dropped shot on the opening hole of round four seemed to emphasise his fate. The 26-year-old had too much ground to make up and too many players in his way. He shot a fourth round of 71 for a share of 10th and the knowledge that a clean sweep of majors must wait at least another year. He was candid as to why. I dont think its anything to do with my game, McIlroy said. I think thats more me mentally, Im trying to deal with the pressure of it and the thrill of the achievement if it were to happen. I think thats the thing thats really holding me back.

A spellbinding afternoon was not only so for events at the top of the leaderboard. Shane Lowrys dance of delight was something to behold after notching the tournaments first hole in one, at the iconic 16th. The USA Ryder Cup captain, Davis Love, then matched Lowrys effort.

One of the most bizarre aces ever seen in professional golf ensured three holes in one for the first time ever in an entire Masters, let alone one day. Louis Oosthuizen, again on the 16th, watched his seven-iron tee shot cannon off the ball of his playing partner, JB Holmes, before rolling into the cup. It was a madcap precursor for what was to come; in fact, by close of play, it seemed barely worthy of mention. Those who insist golf is boring have been delivered the strongest argument in years.

Pacquiao vs. Bradley 3 undercard results: Gilberto Ramirez, Oscar Valdez shine in wins

Manny Pacquiao vs. Tim Bradley 3 COMPLETE Tim Bradley Post Fight Press Conference Video

Gilberto Ramirez, Oscar Valdez, Jose Ramirez, and more made an impression Saturday on the Pacquiao-Bradley undercard.

On a night where one of the biggest stars in the sport"s history is supposedly set to retire, the Pacquiao-Bradley III undercard showcased some of boxing"s rising young stars at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on HBO pay-per-view.

Gilberto "Zurdo" Ramirez became the first fighter from Mexico to ever win a super middleweight world title, as he routed defending WBO champion Arthur Abraham on shutout scores of 120-108 from all three judges. SB Nation had it 119-109 for Ramirez, finding a round in the middle to give to Abraham, but it was never a close fight. Stylistically, Abraham"s low-output style was made for the tall, rangy, busy Ramirez, but even considering that, this was a very impressive performance.

Featherweight prospect Oscar Valdez (19-0, 17 KO) absolutely smashed former titleholder Evgeny Gradovich (21-2-1, 9 KO), stopping "The Mexican Russian" in the fourth round of a totally one-sided fight. Valdez, a two-time Mexican Olympian in 2008 and 2012, dropped Gradovich on a left hook that ended the fight when referee Russell Mora made the decision that Gradovich had taken enough punishment. Mora was correct.

Junior welterweight prospect Jose Ramirez (17-0, 12 KO) didn"t have an easy night, but he did get a solid win over tough veteran road warrior Manny Perez (25-12-1, 6 KO), winning on scores of 97-93, 98-92, and 99-91. SB Nation had it 97-93 for Ramirez, who showed a lot on offense, but also showed a leaky defense.

Preliminary undercard results

Ukrainian light heavyweightOleksandr Gvozdyk scored a brutal knockout of veteran Nadjib Mohammedi in the second round, improving Gvozdyk"s record to 10-0 (8 KO). Gvozdyk was a bronze medalist at the 2012 Olympic games, and has become one of the many bright professional prospects who featured that summer in London. Mohammedi (37-5, 23 KO) is a former world title challenger and a solid pro -- watching Gvozdyk spark him out on one punch was pretty eye-opening.

Egis Kavaliauskas of Lithuania, another 2012 Olympic medalist, won an eight-round shutout decision over Deniz Ilbay. Kavaliauskas, nicknamed "Mean Machine," won on scores of 80-72 across the board, to improve to 13-0 (11 KO). Ilbay falls to 15-1 (8 KO).

Russia"s Konstantin Ponomarev improved to 30-0 (13 KO) with a split decision win over Brad Solomon (26-1, 9 KO) in a 10-round welterweight bout. Scores were 96-94 and 98-92 for Ponomarev, and 96-94 for Solomon.

Leon Bauer improved to 8-0 (6 KO) with a six-round decision win over IlshatKhusnulgatin (12-2, 6 KO). Scores were 59-55, 59-55, and 60-54.

17-year-old Devin Haney (5-0, 3 KO), trained by Floyd Mayweather Sr, won a four-round decision over Rafael Vazquez (2-5, 0 KO) on three scorecards of 40-36.

Will Smith Honored With MTV"s "Old Dude Award"

Will Smith, Ryan Reynolds and Catherine Zeta-Jones Talk Accents - The Graham Norton Show
by Teo Bugbee 8h ago

MTVs Generation Award is a lifetime achievement award and a thank you to stars in the film industry whose work has changed the game and opened doors for those coming up behind them. Winners have included Tom Cruise, Reese Witherspoon, and Johnny Depp, and now that Leo has an Oscar to keep him warm, its hard to think of movie stars who have achieved more with less reward than this years winner, Will Smith.

Smiths tribute started off with a tribute from The Lonely Island, who did a mash-up of Fresh Prince theme song, Men In Black, and Jiggyhonoring both Smiths comedy career and his hip-hop roots. Bringing a more personal touch was Queen Latifah, who thanked Smith for opening doors as the first hip-hop artist and for his humility as a friend and human being. Closing out the lovefest came Oscar winner Halle Berry, who highlighted Will Smiths work for diversity in Hollywood, and his history proving every stereotype about back artists in Hollywood wrong. Black actors cant play serious? Black actors cant open movies internationally? Black actors cant be romantic leads? Excuse me, have you seen Will Smith?

When MTV gave me this award, I thought this was an old dude award.

Displaying exactly the good-natured humor that made him a star, Smith wasnt above jokes even as he accepted his award, clowning about his age and how his son has stolen his cache with young people.

I released my first record when I was 17, Im 47 years old now. This June marks thirty years in this business for me. I mean, The Lonely Island said it, parents just dont understand, and Im sitting with my kids sometimes like, I dont get it!

Smith started out as a rapper in the 1980s under Jazzy Jeff in Philadelphia, eventually gaining attention as the Fresh Princea persona that quickly outgrew Smiths hip-hop fame as NBC developed the classic series The Fresh Prince Of Bel Air around Smiths image. From Bel Air, it was a quick trip to Hollywood as Smith was offered the lead role in Bad Boys with another rising TV star, Martin Lawrence. The movies massive success also launched the supersized reign of Michael Bay, and made a rising star of West Phillys pride and joy, Will Smith. From Bad Boys came Independence Day, Men In Black, and Bad Boys II, and from the cool two billion in cold hard cash that those movies earned at the box office was born Will Smith, global superstar.

By now weve seen Will Smith fight robots, vampires, poverty, the NFL, and George Foreman. Hes one of the last real movie stars in the world, still opening films after thirty years in the business, his face a universal symbol for whats good at the movies and in humanity. And as much as Smith clowned about his age in his speech, he seems well aware of his meaning in the industry and to his audience.

Im dedicated to being a light in this world. I want to help people. I want to be a light. I want to play roles that have dignity. Theres so much suffering in this world, and I just want you to know I am dedicated til I die to light and to love.

Check out Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams kiss and more of the biggest moments from 25 years of the Movie Awards:

Watch the 2016 Movie Awards on Sunday, April 10 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.
