Magnificent Seven Teaser Trailer Reaction and Review
Washington, Pratt, and five other gunslingers face off against Peter Sarsgaard in the new film.
Antoine Fuqua"s upcoming remake of "The Magnificent Seven" follows seven gunslingers who are hired to protect a town from the deadly wrath of industrialist Bartholomew Bogue (Peter Sarsgaard). The seven gunslingers are as follows:Sam Chisolm (Denzel Washington), Josh Farraday (Chris Pratt), Goodnight Robicheaux (Ethan Hawke), Jack Horne (Vincent D"Onofrio), Billy Rocks (Byung-Hun Lee), Vasquez (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo), and Red Harvest (Martin Sensmeier). Though these seven initially take the job for the money, they soon realize they"re fighting for much more than that.

Fuqua"s "Magnificent Seven" is a remake of the 1960 John Sturges film of the same name, which in turn was a remake of Akira Kurosawa"s 1954 epic historical drama "The Seven Samurai." This will be the third collaboration between Fuqua and Washington after 2001"s "Training Day," which earned Washington an Oscar for Best Actor, and 2014"s "The Equalizer," which grossed over $192 million against a $55 million budget and garnered mixed-to-positive reviews.
