Norovirus outbreak reported at Republican convention, confirming it has become an actual sh*t show

Potential Norovirus Outbreak Among RNC Staffers
Welcome to the s**t show, Republicans. You built that.

The words s**t show have been a common description of the Republican National Convention thus far. Highlights include D-list speakers, the lack of professional convention staff, the lower television ratings, the absence of many or most of the biggest names in Republican politics, and the spectacle of several formerly high profile conservatives ending their professional careers right there on the stage of the Quicken Loans Arena. Its like watching a meteor (lets call it Rudy) burning brightly as it crashes into the atmosphere, hurling towardimminentextinction.

Now there is news of a possiblenasty norovirus outbreak at the convention:

As many as 11 members of the California delegations advance team are showing symptoms that are consistent with the norovirus, according to Peter Schade, the Erie County health commissioner, who is investigating the outbreak. They are staying at a hotel in Sandusky, Ohio, about an hour from Cleveland.

Weve got about 11 who have been sick over the last few days, and weve been out there every day and working with them to eliminate the spread [between] the resort and the delegation from California, Schade said.

The health department is running tests to confirm whether the Republican staff members have norovirus.

According to the CDC, symptoms includediarrhea, throwing up, nausea, stomach pain, fever, headaches, and body aches. The virus can spread very quickly in enclosed spaces, like convention centers. The good news for Republicans? The arena has not been anywhere near full capacity.

If confirmed, it is safe to say this convention is becoming a literal s**t show.Symptoms last one to threedays, meaning most sufferers would not feelbetter until after the conclusion of the convention.

Actually, the same could be true for all of America.

Mila Kunis Gets a Flapper Crop

BAD MOMS Red Band Trailer (2016) Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell Comedy Movie HD

Photo: Getty

Mila Kunis rocked a drastically different hairstyle at last nights New York City premiere of Bad Moms, and we love the look. Mila abandoned her signature long locks for a jaw-length bob. Could this be Milas pre-baby practical hairstyle, or is it one of the faux bobs weve been seeing on lots of celebs lately?

Gigi Hadid sported a faux bob with a half-wig. (Photo: Getty)

The new style seems to be the work of artful draping and looping, a few long wisps and pinned curls giving it away. Unlike Kylie Jenner and Gigi Hadids recent faux bobs, this appears to be Milas real hair.

She put a modern spin on the classic 20s flapper look with loose finger waves and deep-set silver lids. The edgy look gets a romantic touch with blushed lips and matching rosy cheeks with definition.

Roger Ailes" attorney seeks to move Gretchen Carlson case to NYC

Still Report #1044 - Roger Ailes to be Fired from Fox News
An attorney for Fox News chief Roger Ailes has filed a motion to move the sexual-harassment case leveled against him to New York City, in the latest twist in a growing court battle that could have far-reaching implications for the 21st Century Fox cable network.

In a filing made in federal court in the Southern District of New York City, the attorney, Susan Estrich, asked the case be moved for arbitration to New York City (see statement below). Attorneys for Ailes last week filed a motion in New Jersey, where the case originated to also have it moved to arbitration, citing Carlson"s employment agreement with Fox News.

Carlson leveled allegations last Wednesday in a suit filed in Superior Court of New Jersey charging Ailes had propositioned her sexually and that she had suffered unfair treatment from Steve Doocy, her co-host for several years on "Fox & Friends," the Fox News morning program. Carlson left the network in June. In a statement, Ailes has called her charges false and said they came in retaliation for her contact with Fox News not being renewed. Meanwhile, 21st Century Fox, the parent company of Fox News, said it will conduct an "internal review" into the charges made against both Ailes and Doocy.

Attorneys for Carlson were not able to offer immediate comment.

In the filing, the attorney suggested the case shoukd be moved from New Jersey because neither Carlson nor Ailes resides there. Carlson"s lawyers have said Ailes has a residence in New Jersey.

The filing makes plain the difference in each side"s strategy. Carlson"s case is leveled against Ailes, not Fox News or its parent, while attorneys for Ailes have sought to make Carlson live by the rules of the employment contract she signed with the cable-news outlet.

The statement by Estrich, an attorney at the law firm of Quinn Emanuel, follows:

"Gretchen Carlson"s attorney has led a concerted smear campaign to prejudice the rights of Roger Ailes in this case. Her attempt to game the system so as to avoid the arbitration clause for her client"s baseless allegations is contrary to law and unsupported by the facts. Accordingly, we have taken the following action today: We have filed papers in the federal court in Manhattan to compel the arbitration of Carlson"s claims in New York City at the American Arbitration Association, as required by her Employment Agreement. At the same time, we have asked the federal district court in New Jersey to transfer the case to federal court in Manhattan, where it can be consolidated with the case we filed today. The court in Manhattan is the proper place to compel arbitration because (1) Carlson worked at Fox News in New York City, (2) her employment agreement requires arbitration in New York City, (3) she has based her claims solely on New York City law and (4) neither she nor Mr. Ailes resides in New Jersey."

Ivanka Trump praises outspoken father"s record with women

Ivanka Trump opens up about family and politics

WASHINGTON (AP) - Donald Trump"s oldest daughter defended his record with women Tuesday, saying the presumptive Republican nominee believes deeply in gender equality, while acknowledging that her father has the tendency to rile people up.

Ivanka Trump told ABC"s "Good Morning America" that her father "believes in equality amongst the genders economically, politically, socially," adding that he "has empowered women, including me, his whole life."

A senior executive at the Trump Organization and key adviser to her father"s campaign, Ivanka Trump has regularly defended her father"s record toward women. Trump famously said Fox News Channel"s Megyn Kelly had "blood coming out of her wherever" after she pressed him last year about calling women "fat pig," ""dog" and other names. He also took jabs at the appearance of Heidi Cruz, wife of former rival Ted Cruz.

Ivanka Trump acknowledged that her outspoken father"s comments have "gotten him into trouble occasionally," but praised him for engaging directly with the voters, particularly on Twitter, saying it conveys who he is.

"The only filter is himself," she said. "He speaks from the heart. He speaks from the brain."

Republican Convention Speakers: Ivanka Trump, Joni Ernst, Newt Gingrich

Watch Sen. Joni Ernst speak at Republican National Convention

CLEVELAND, Ohio The planned speakers at the Republican National Convention include Sens. Tom Cotton of Arkansas and Marco Rubio of Florida, along with Peter Thiel, the billionaire Silicon Valley entrepreneur, according to a program released by convention officials early Sunday evening.

The roster of speakers at the convention to officially nominate Donald Trump is a colorful mix of political leaders, entertainers, personalities and the candidates family members in keeping with his campaigns unorthodox style. The presumptive GOP nominees wife, Melania Trump, will speak on Monday, the conventions opening night. Daughter Tiffany Trump and son Donald Trump Jr. will address the convention Tuesday evening. Trumps younger son, Eric, will speak on Wednesday. Thursdays program includes a speech by daughter Ivanka Trump a key figure in her fathers inner circle followed by the billionaire businessmans speech Thursday night accepting the GOP nomination. Newly-minted Trump running mate Mike Pence will speak on Wednesday evening.

One name conspicuously missing from the list Heisman-winning quarterback Tim Tebow. The convention released an official program partial list Thursday that included Tebow. A Trump adviser told CNN Tebow would be speaking, but the former Denver Bronco later posted a Facebook video saying it was only a rumor.

I wake up this morning to find out that Im speaking at the Republican National Convention, Tebow said. Its amazing how fast rumors fly and thats exactly what it is a rumor.

Each night of the four-night gathering in Cleveland will center on a different theme, such as security, immigration and the economy.

The first nights focus will be on security and immigration, with discussions of the Benghazi attack and the U.S. border. Speakers include Jamiel Shaw, whose son was killed by an undocumented immigrant, and Cotton. Sen. Joni Ernst of Iowa the first female combat veteran elected to the Senate will also speak, as will Rep. Ryan Zinke, a former Navy Seal. Benghazi attack survivors Mark Geist and John Tiegen will also speak at the convention Monday night. A late Monday speaking addition is Pastor Mark Burns, a prominent African American evangelical leader, Bloomberg reported Sunday.

On the second night, speakers will emphasize the economy. Presenters include Dana White, the UFC president, retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, whose name appeared on some VP shortlists, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and House Speaker Paul Ryan. Sen. Shelley Moore Capito of West Virginia will also, as will Ben Carson, a Republican primary rival-turned-Trump supporter.

The third night will feature Indiana Gov. Pence, as hes officially nominated for vice president. Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich running mate finalist through the end of last week is also slated that evening. So is Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker and Sen. Ted Cruz, the GOP primary runner-up to Trump, who has yet to endorse the nominee-to-be. Also speaking Wednesday night will be Eileen Collins, a pioneering woman astronaut, and Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi, who was thrust into the national spotlight following the Orlando terror attacks.

An additional prominent Floridian, Sen. Marco Rubio, will speak on Wednesday night. After a bruising primary fight against Trump, including a bevy of attacks questioning the front-runners physical attributes, Rubio later decided to seek re-election to his Senate seat. It was unclear until late this weekend whether Rubio would be on the convention speakers list.

Trump himself will speak on the fourth and final night. RNC Chair Reince Priebus, business leaders such as Thiel, a co-founder of PayPal, who caused a stir in May when he revealed that he financed several lawsuits, including the one brought by Hulk Hogan, against Gawker. While much of the journalism community bemoaned the thought of a billionaire suing a news outlet into oblivion Gawker filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in June and will be sold in an auction next month others celebrated Thiels secret legal battle, which he described as specific deterrence.

It appears Trump may support Thiels efforts. The GOP nominee said earlier this year that he intends to open up libel laws, making it easier to sue news organizations. But after a Florida jury awarded Hogan $140.1 million in his case against Gawker, Trump signaled that such reform might not be necessary.

I might not have to, based on Gawker. Right? he said.

A number of other Republican lawmakers, business leaders, and celebrities are also slated to appear. That includes actor and director Scott Baio, best known for his roles on Happy Days and Charles in Charge; Willie Robertson, star of Duck Dynasty; and former Attorney General Michael B. Mukasey, among others.

Notably, many Republican leaders have also said they will skip the convention, a list that includes former President Bush 41 and 43, former GOP presidential nominees Sen. John McCain and Mitt Romney, and several current GOP lawmakers.

CNNs Tom Kludt and Jeremy Diamond contributed to this report.

Jenny McCarthy Grossly Disrespects Tara Reid During "Sharknado 4" Interview: "Good Luck With Sharknado 18!"

Tara Reid & Dean May Bio | Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars

An Sirius XM interview to promote the upcoming Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens quickly turned into a battle of the blondes when former Playboy Playmate Jenny McCarthy rudely and repeatedly belittled actress Tara Reid.

Things seemed to start in a negative place from the very beginning of the interview, according to People, when McCarthy, who hosts The Jenny McCarthy Show daily via the satellite radio station, expressed that she was a huge fan of Reids appearance on the current season of Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars.

I f***ing love you on that show, McCarthy stated, but are you glad you did it?

Understandably, the American Pie star wasnt too keen on sharing the details of her televised marital problems with Bulgarian financier, Zachary Kehayov.

Its not worth the time to talk about, Reid answered. Theres confusing things about it. We are not talking about it.

When Jenny pushed Tara to answer the question anyway, the first signs of trouble started to be displayed.

Babe, I asked you, please lets not talk about [Marriage Boot Camp], Reid insisted. Were all here about Sharknado.

Momentarily respecting Taras wishes, McCarthy began to inquire about the fourth offering of the popular Syfy franchise; but instead of asking what it was like to work on the film, Jenny got a little too personal, choosing to ask questions about Reids exercise habits in order to prepare for her Sharknado 4 inclusion.

Its not like you really need to get into shape, Tara answered frustratingly. Its Sharknado. Its, like, fake sharks [were running from]. Theyre rubber.

Things between the ladies eased momentarily, before Jenny started questioning Reid on her infamous plastic surgery issues, including her multiple breast augmentations and tummy tuck procedures.

Are you still going through surgeries, or are you past them, McCarthy asked.

No, I havent had any surgery for awhile, Jenny, Tara responded.

Hi, Tara, Jenny farcically expressed.

Im here, Reid answered.

Okay, good, because you were talking to someone else, she replied with obvious snark. So, youre not moving forward with plastic surgery?

Clearly annoyed, Tara reached her breaking point.

I think Ive made that clear, like, about 100 times, she answered.

Well, McCarthy interrupted, I didnt hear that 100 times.

Maybe thats because you only read the bad things, Tara fired back, but I made that really clear [for] so many years, but read what you want to read.

Before another invasive question could be asked of her, Tara wisely and politely shut Jennys inquisition down.

It was really nice talking to you, she uttered, and really, good luck with your show.

It was then that the former panelist of The View reached a peak of impoliteness that no one saw coming.

Well, good luck to you, too! Im so excited about Sharknado, and I hope you stay married.

Well, I hope you stay married [to New Kids on The Block singer Donnie Wahlberg], Reid shot back.

I will, and I hope your knees get a little wobblier than they already are, McCarthy said.

I hope your t**s get even nicer, Reid countered back, reminding Jenny of her own past plastic surgeries, because theyre amazing. [They were done by] the same guy who did mine, right?

As Tara exited the studio, the immature hostess took one last dig at her.

Love you, Tara! Good luck with Sharknado 18!

As rumors about the sit down being staged began to make waves, Reid reached out to TMZ to confirm that it was in fact real, and that McCarthy hadnt apologized to her. Jenny, meanwhile, promoted the chat on her Twitter with the same amount of discontent and discord that she had during her conversation with Tara.

Tune in for replay of @TheJennyMShow to hear why the only show we might ever be on together in the future will be Botched. Ch 109 8 pm EST

Jenny McCarthy (@JennyMcCarthy) July 15, 2016

No word on if Jenny will be reprimanded for her actions. Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens, which also features David Hasselhoff and Gilbert Gottfried, premieres on July 31 on Syfy. Feel free to check out the trailer here.
