Melania Trump - Make Face Great Again - Tutorial

The eagle-eyed sheriffs of the Twitterverse are constantly vigilant, ready to blow their whistles at any possible offensebe it fashion, feud, or folly. Last night, it was fashion. Ohio congresswoman Joyce Beatty spoke at the Democratic National Convention, but it was her outfit that made headlines. You might be thinking, Ugh, can we recognize women for more than what theyre wearing? But in this case, its an interesting conversation. You see, Beattys dress was identical to the $2,190 Roksanda one Melania Trump sported to deliver her now-infamous speech at the Republican National Convention (which coincidentally was in Beattys state of Ohio) last week.
DRESS PLAGIARISM, @NYDailyNews tweeted.
Did Joyce Beatty just plagiarize Melania Trumps outfit? @mashable asked.
Some people saw it differently, as more of a power play. In a complete baller move, Rep. Joyce Beatty wears Melania Trumps RNC dress at the DNC, @annehelen wrote.
It was unintentional mimicry turned power play, actually. Beatty told a local news affiliate that her husband bought the dress and asked her to wear it at the convention, and now its blowing up all over the nation that its the same as Mrs. Trumps. Shes not entirely sure if the two garments are identical, but she does know one thing:
I just know that I used my own words when I wore the dress.
Beatty then laughed things off, as if to remind us all that we were talking about clothes on a night of extreme historical significance.
