Nyle DiMarco & Peta"s Paso Doble - Dancing with the Stars 2016 Week 8
The cast of Dancing With The Stars 2016 has been recently revealed and it looks like fans have their early favorites. Despite Ryan Lochtes live appearance in Good Morning America most recently, Calvin Johnson, not the Olympic swimmer, is the most talked about contestant. It looks like the former Detroit Lions wide receiver has easily won the hearts of fans and is now the early favorite in the show. But then theres Terra Jole who might also be one of the favorites. Jole happens to be the first little person to join the show and that sole fact can be her biggest asset.
Fans are delighted to know that Dancing With The Stars features an athletic flavor led by Johnson and Lochte. Its entirely new for the two athletes who agreed to join the hit competition show.
Johnson shocked the world of football when he confirmed his retirement earlier this year at age 30. Thus, Detroit fans are truly delighted to know that he will be seen on the ABC hit reality show. Johnsons former teammates were reportedly surprised about him joining a dance competition and commented that hes going to do awful.
Meanwhile, Lochte shared that hes really excited. He also admitted that being part of a show like Dancing With The Stars is completely new for him. The 32-year-old swimmer exclaimed that its time for him to hang up the Speedo, put on his dancing shoes and get in the ballroom.
The Little Woman with No Shortage of Talent
Aside from the two athletes, Jole, a 36-year-old Little Women: LA star, is also the apple of the eye now. She stands 1.27 metres tall but she has no shortage of charm and talent. Jole has been in the entertainment industry for 15 good years and we just cant wait to see her dancing in the show.
Dancing with the Stars Season 23 is slated to premiere on Monday, September 12, at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.

Vikings QB Teddy Bridgewater suffered a season-ending torn ACL and dislocated knee on a non-contact injury during practice, the club confirmed Tuesday evening.
"Teddy Bridgewater suffered a non-contact injury today at practice," head athletic trainer Eric Sugerman said in a statement. "The injury was quickly identified as a dislocated knee. The injury was stabilized, and he was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment and evaluation. After undergoing an MRI, it was determined that Teddy suffered a complete tear to his ACL and other structural damage. Fortunately, there appears to be no nerve or arterial damage. Surgical repair will be scheduled within the next few days. Although the recovery time will be significant, we expect Teddy to make a full recovery. I would like to thank all of the medical professionals and our athletic training staff for all of their help today. Teddy has already displayed the attitude needed to overcome this injury and attack his rehab."
Bridgewater went down on a dropback approximately 25 minutes into practice, which was quickly canceled as an ambulance arrived. The traumatic scene reportedly included some of Peterson"s teammates vomiting on the field.
"Well you know today is a disappointing day," Mike Zimmer said about in a news conference shortly after injury. "Number one Teddy is such an amazing kid. Everybody loves him. So it was disappointing for them and I didnt think we were going to get much out of practice. Well get back in heretomorrowand well get back to work. Were not going to stick our heads in the sand. Were going to tuck our tail between our legs. Were not looking for excuses. Were going to go out and fight like we always do. We got some great football players on this team. Well figure ways to win football games if hes not here and thats what were going to do."
Zimmer said he"s leaned on a pair of mentors, Bill Parcells and, in spirit, his late father Bill, who passed away last August, in the immediate aftermath Tuesday.
"I"ve talked to Coach (Bill) Parcells a couple times today. Ive talked to well, in spirit, Ive talked to my dad, and he always found a way to do it," said an emotional Zimmer. "So, were going to figure out a way. Were not going to stick our heads in the sand. Were going to figure out a way. Everybody can count us out if they want, but I think thatd be the wrong thing to do."
Zimmer didn"t rule out the possibility of acquiring a veteran as the Vikings" Plan B, but he expressed confidence in 36-year-old backup Shaun Hill, who"s been "great this preseason," he said.
After losing his father last summer, and following the sudden passing of his wife seven years ago, Zimmer said he"ll channel the experiences into helping his team battle this adversity.
"Yeah, thats our job, find a way," said Zimmer. "No one is going to feel sorry for us, no one is going to cry. The Tennessee Titans or the Green Bay Packers, we can go down the schedule, no one is going to feel sorry for us if thats the case. So Im not going to feel sorry for us either. Im not going to let this team feel sorry for itself. Were going to grieve today and upset about it. Its more about our feelings for Teddy and him as a person and getting better than it is about anything else. Teddys a great kid and h**l be back as soon as he possibly can if it is real bad. But were going to keep fighting."
Bridgewater, 23, was set to enter his second full season as the starter for the defending NFC North champions. After sitting out the second preseason game with reported shoulder soreness, he returned Sunday and was outstanding in the team"s final tuneup and, as it turns out, his final outing of 2016.
Katharine McPhee has no regrets in life even when it comes to her infidelities.
The "Smash" actress came clean to Ocean Drive magazine about her headline-making love life, where she cheated on her husband with the married director of the series, Michael Morris.
McPhee married her husband Nick Cokas, who is 19 years her senior, back in 2008 and the two split in 2014 after news broke that the singer was having an affair with her "Smash" boss Morris.
Morris is married to actress Mary McCormack and they have two children together, while McPhee and Cokas officially divorced in February 2016.
"I don"t have any regrets. All of the choices I made I learned from in a really deep way," McPhee told the magazine.
"I have always been fortunate to have strong influences in my life who have forced me to look at my own choices and my own failures. I think we are all on that journey to have more awareness about who we are as a person and to grow and learn."
The single actress who was last linked to her "Scorpion" co-star Elyes Gabel in 2014 is now unsure how to approach dating in her 30s.
"I"m trying to date in a way that doesn"t lock me down," she said. "There is still a certain level of attachment with the prior relationship that I was in, so emotionally to be suddenly dating other people is not as easy."
While she"s been told that she should just get around and "hook up with a bunch of people," the "American Idol" runner-up said she would much rather fall in love.
"I"m a one-man kind of gal and a kind of true romantic at heart," she said.

Hope Solo Go Crazy After She Found Out That She Had Been Suspended by U.S. Soccer
Hope Solo cried, hugged her husband and then lashed out when she received the news: U.S. soccer terminated her contract and issued a six-month suspension after she called Sweden "a bunch of cowards" following theUnited States" Olympics elimination.
"Six months, suspension, no pay. Terminated contract, effective immediately," Solo says in a newly-released video trailer from Fullscreen, a media company making a docu-series called "Keeping Score" that follows the U.S. national team goalkeeper and teammates Megan Rapinoe and Crystal Dunn.
"Terminated contract, not just a suspension," an emotional Solo continues.
When her husband, former NFL player Jerramy Stevens, asks, "How can they do both?" she replies, "It"s both. Seventeen f---- years and it"s over!"
Solo will miss only international friendlies in the next six months, but by then a new keeper may have solidified the No. 1 spot since Solo will be 38 years old when the next World Cup rolls around in 2019. Orlando Pride keeper Ashlyn Harris and Alyssa Naeher of the Chicago Red Stars are the two likely candidates battling for the starting job. Naeher was Solo"s backup in the Olympics and Harris was the U.S. reserve.
Solo"s comments after the U.S." quarterfinal elimination did not sit well with teammates, either. Rapinoe openly spoke out against Solo"s reaction, and Pride forwardAlex Morgan also made a statementlast week to the Orlando Sentinel, saying: "The players dont control any of the consequences that happen, that are enforced by U.S. Soccer. So, its a bummer that happened to one of my teammates, but at the same timeI dont agree with the things that she said in the Olympics.
Pride coach Tom Sermanni was head coach of the U.S. women"s national team from 2013-14, so he is familiar with the level of competition and with Solo.
"I thought it was probably a little bit clumsy, is what I"ll call it," Sermanni said. "I think it"s getting players in the heat of the moment, right after the game, where you"ve just lost a critical game. So, players are emotional at that time and they"re liable to come out and say something a little bit untoward.
"And then there are certain players who are a bit more outspoken than others, and obviously Hope"s one of those. So, when you put all of that together, you"re likely to get an explosive remark and that"s what"s happened."
U.S. Soccer, the sport"s governing body, released a statement Aug. 24 announcing Solo"s suspenion and making clear thepunishment was due to an accumulation of actions over the past few years and not solely her remarks after the Olympics.
Earlier this week, Solo"s National Women"s Soccer League team, the Seattle Reign, announced Solo has taken an indefinite leave.

At age 23, Carol Kane was fresh off a Best Actress Oscar nomination with no prospects on the horizon.
The phone hadnt rung for a year, she said. Then Gene Wilder called.
Out of the blue I got a call from Gene saying that hed like to meet me about The Worlds Greatest Lover," Kane said Monday. (It) was a comedy, which Id never done before. I have no idea why he thought I could do it, but he was a purist, he was kind of a poet and I met him and he asked me to do this movie with him.
Wilder, who died Sunday at 83, wrote, directed and starred in The Worlds Greatest Lover, about a baker (Wilder) and his wife (Kane) who move to Hollywood during the silent film era to enter a talent search for someone who might compete with Rudolph Valentino.
Remembering the genius that is Gene Wilder
Kane, 64, was only 25 by the time it wrapped, but getting that call from Wilder still felt to her like a second chance, she said.
She remembers Wilder being compassionate and inspirational as a director but serious and sensitive, too.
(He was) clearly one the great clowns the Chaplin of talkies in some ways, she said.
The Worlds Greatest Lover was not particularly well-received when it came out in 1977. Kane thinks it might not have gotten the right publicity.
It was a little under the radar unfortunately, she said. But I think that it holds up beautifully and that its lovely and funny and worth a second look.
Kane would stay in touch with Wilder on and off over the years, and she loved seeing the friendship of Wilder, Mel Brooks and Dom DeLuise (who also starred in The Worlds Greatest Lover as the studio mogul).
Wilder and Kane reunited in 2001 to perform in three classic one-act farces at the Westport Country Playhouse, but shell always remember the great significance of that phone call more than 40 years ago.
He was a gentle man and a gentleman a true, true artist, Kane said. We never saw anyone like him before or after.
