Why Donald Trump Attacked John Lewis (And Why He Will Always ...

Rep. John Lewis Testifies on the Nomination of Senator Sessions to be Attorney General

why donald trump attacked john lewis(and Why He Will ALWAYS Attack People Who "Wound" Him)by Richard Greene with Dr. Lynne Meyer, PhD

*Note: I am re-posting the "Why Donald Trump Attacked Meryl Streep (And Why He Will ALWAYS Attack People Who "Wound" Him) post from January 10. . . . and will continue to do the same and just replace the names until the press and the country understand four critical things:1. He will ALWAYS attack. This is what we have to look forward to for the next 4 years.2. He attacks because he has serious, incurable, untreatable and progressive "Narcissistic Personality Disorder", a "Cluster B" personality disorder characterized by extreme sensitivity brought on by an almost total lack of self-esteem and self worth. Donald Trump, himself, told us this. In his famous interview with Megan Kelly the following words came out of his mouth, not a Psychiatrist"s. "When I"m wounded I go after people hard to try to "unwound" myself." He also said "I view myself as a person and like everybody else, I"m fighting for survival." 3. This man, with this need to "unwound" himself, "fight for survival" and attack anyone and everyone, including a man who marched with Martin Luther King two days before Martin Luther King"s birthday, will have sole, unimpeded, "anytime he wants" ability to destroy our relationships with any world leader who hurts his feelings, destroy our relationship with any country and destroy the entirety of civilization with his exclusive control over 7,000 nuclear warheads.4. He is not fit to be President of The United States and Commander-in-Chief and must be impeached or otherwise removed from office as soon as practically possible.

Why Donald Trump Attacked Meryl Streep(And Why He Will ALWAYS Attack People Who "Wound" Him)by Richard Greene with Dr. Lynne Meyer, PhD

Maybe it took Meryl Streep for people to finally get it.

According to virtually every Psychiatrist, Psychologist and mental health professional that we know or have interviewed, whoare experienced in this field, Donald Trump has a serious mental condition called "Narcissistic Personality Disorder" (NPD), a rare, incurable, largely untreatable, progressive disorder that is incompatible with being President of The United States and, especially,Commander-in-Chief.

He will always attack anyone prominent who attacks him

Because, while he talks constantly about being "strong" and "tough" the reality is that Donald Trump, because of his serious condition, is too sensitive.

Because the attacks on him hurt too much.

"When I"m wounded, I go after people hard and I try to unwound myself."

Simple words of even mild criticism wound Donald Trump. Theycut through him like a knife.

Simple words of even mild criticism trigger the ever-present (but oft covered up) deep feelings of insecurity and an almost total lack of self-worth.

This is true for EVERYONE with NPD (as discussed in detail in the previous article, "Is Donald Trump Mentally Ill?"http://www.huffingtonpost.com/richard-greene/is-donald-trump-mentally_b_13693174.html

Handing over the Presidency and the entire United States Military to this man is like a 747Pilot handing over the controls of the airplane to someone who isa knownalcoholic.

Or a surgeon giving the scalpel in the middle of a long, complicated surgery to someone who is prone to frequent epileptic fits..

When "attacked", aperson withoutthis personality disorderhas the ability to put that criticism into a larger context.People with NPD literally do not. Their system gets so highly stressed by the attack they can"t focus on anything else.

A healthy person would say, "Oh, Meryl Streep has an opinion. I don"t agree with it. Now I"m going to focus on something else because I am a world leader and have many other important things to focus on."

But someone with NPD is so stressed, because of their fragility, that they can"t have these logical, rational thoughts, and can"t even focus on other things. Instead, they think"I must devalue her because I feel devalued" and, therefore, the "overrated" comment and every other devaluation of so very many who have criticized Donald Trump.

According to universally accepted research there is a pattern that those suffering from NPD follow virtually every time they are criticized or attacked:

1.They Devalue. 2.They Threaten. 3.They Retaliate.

Devaluing is diplomatically and militarily dangerous with other world leaders who, themselves, may be unstable or have enormous egos, or even NPD, and threatening and retaliating have obvious potential for very real global crisis.

And, at this point, even though Mr. Trump has never formally laid down on a Psychiatrist"s couch (something that NPD sufferers arealmost never willing to do), we"ve seen that these three reactions to criticism or challenge are the very, and proudly held, modus operandi of our President--Elect throughout his business career and personal life.

How many people has he devalued? "Little Marco", "Lying Ted", "Low Energy Jeb", "Crooked Hillary", Miss Universe, all of his female accusers, Alec Baldwin.China, Meryl Streep and so many others. He"s not immature. This is a textbook symptom of NPD.

How many people has he threatened? Threatening people with lawsuits is part of his business model. As Commander-in-Chief he will have the entirety of The United States Military and 7,000 nuclear warheads instead of just a lawsuit.

How many people has he retaliated against? Actually filing lawsuits is also part of his business model. As Commander-in-Chief he will have the entirety of The United States Military and 7,000 nuclear warheads to use to, indeed, retaliate.

And no one - not The Secretary of Defense, not The Vice-President, not Congress, not The Joint Chiefs of Staff - are able to stop President Trump from launching a military or even a nuclear retaliation if he, in his sole discretion, wants to do it. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/richard-greene/dear-electors-donald-trum_b_13679096.html

It will never be different. It will never change. When "wounded" by criticism Donald Trump will "try to unwound" himself by lashing out.Donald Trump will not "grow up" as the Vice-President suggested. Donald Trump will NEVER be more "Presidential" as many have begged.

And the consequences could be horrifying.

What will happen, for example,WHEN (not if)Kim Jong-Un or Vladimir Putin or the leader of Iran or Pakistan or ISIS criticizes or challenges President Donald Trump?

On January 20, 2017 Donald J. Trump will have sole, unilateral, full, exclusive, anytime he wants authority to direct 2 million American servicemen and the high alert portions of a 7,000 nuclear warhead arsenal to lash out to make himself feel better.

It"s time to start thinking about "President Mike Pence" and invoking The 25th Amendment of The United States Constitution. Dr. Lynne Meyer, PhD is a Psychologist in private practice in Los Angeles specializing in "Narcissistic Personality Disorder" and other personality disorders.

John Lewis Puts Race at Center of Jeff Sessions Hearing

Rep. John Lewis Testifies on the Nomination of Senator Sessions to be Attorney General
Video Witnesses Testify For and Against Jeff Sessions

Colleagues and former colleagues, including Senator Cory Booker, testified for and against the nomination of Senator Jeff Sessions as U.S. attorney general.

WASHINGTON Senator Jeff Sessions, the Alabama Republican nominated for attorney general, came under sharp attack from black leaders Wednesday over his record on minorities, as Representative John Lewis of Georgia, a luminary of the civil rights movement, charged that he could set back racial progress by decades.

We need someone as attorney general whos going to look out for all of us, and not just some of us, mr. lewis, a Democrat, told the Senate Judiciary Committee on the second and final day of testimony for Mr. Sessionss nomination.

The emotional testimony from Mr. Lewis and other black leaders provided some dramatic moments at the hearing, but there was no indication that it would slow Mr. Sessionss confirmation in the Senate, which appears all but certain.

Republican members on the committee came to his defense at the hearing and said that he was being unfairly tarnished over accusations of racial insensitivity that have dogged him since the 1980s.

They produced witnesses, including several black conservatives, who vouched for Mr. Sessionss character and professionalism and said they were confident that he would enforce the law no matter what his personal views were.

Larry D. Thompson, a friend of Mr. Sessionss who worked with him in the 1980s when both were federal prosecutors, said the senator had a commitment to both strong law enforcement and equal justice for all.

The days testimony highlighted the strong racial undertones of Mr. Sessionss nomination. Three decades ago, the Senate rejected Mr. Sessions for a federal judgeship over questions about his failed prosecution of African-Americans in a fraud case and racially insensitive comments he was reported to have made. He acknowledged using words like un-American to describe the N.A.A.C.P.

Black leaders say that those accusations still resonate with them and that his votes as a senator in more recent years in opposition to a number of civil rights bills have given them more reason to question his record.

About a dozen members of the Congressional Black Caucus, along with civil rights leaders, turned out at Wednesdays hearing in support of Mr. Lewis and two other black Democrats Senator Cory Booker of New Jersey and Representative Cedric Richmond of Louisiana as they voiced their opposition to Mr. Sessionss nomination.

Mr. Booker broke with Senate tradition by testifying against a fellow senator, a decision that he cast as a matter of conscience and country.

He alluded to Mr. Sessionss opposition to immigration and his support for voter-identification laws that disproportionately affect minorities and the poor.

He will be expected to defend voting rights, but his record indicates that he wont, Mr. Booker said. He will be expected to defend the rights of immigrants and affirm their human dignity, but his record indicates that he wont.

Mr. Lewis, who protested segregation alongside the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and was beaten severely during a march in Selma, Ala., said Mr. Sessionss pledge to enforce law and order harked back to the era in which he grew up.

Those who are committed to equal justice in our society wonder whether Senator Sessionss call for law and order will mean today what it meant in Alabama when I was coming up back then, Mr. Lewis said.

Mr. Lewis urged senators to focus on those views. It doesnt matter how Senator Sessions may smile, how friendly he may be, how he may speak to you, he said.

Democrats challenging Mr. Sessionss nomination also released a letter from 103 black ministers and religious leaders, who wrote that the senators unswerving hostility to the very rights he would be tasked with protecting had made him unfit to be attorney general.

Republicans, however, countered with their own testimonial. Just as Mr. Lewis was about to testify, Trump transition team members circulated photographs showing Mr. Sessions and Mr. Lewis marching together over the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma to commemorate the 50th anniversary of a confrontation there between civil rights marchers and the police.

With Floyd Mayweather in the house, Isaiah Thomas delivers knockout punch

Isaiah Thomas 52 Points! 29 in the 4th Quarter | 12.30.16

BOSTON -- Boston Celtics guard Isaiah Thomas didn"t know Floyd Mayweather was going to be at TD Garden for Wednesday"s game against the Washington Wizards. But Thomas treated his good friend to a show for making the trip.

Thomas scored 20 of his game-high 38 points in the fourth quarter to help the Celtics rally for a 117-108 triumph at TD Garden. As part of his final-frame outburst, Thomas made a couple of deep 3-pointers right in front of Mayweather and even took time to dap him up after one of them -- knocking some of the bling straight off Mayweather"s wrist with an emphatic slap.

Thomas and Mayweather are longtime friends, and Thomas jokes that the Celtics "usually win when he"s in the building." Mayweather was shown on the Garden"s JumboTron during one fourth-quarter timeout, and he playfully held up the Celtics" cap of a companion as the crowd roared.

Immediately after the final buzzer, Mayweather asked Thomas for his game-worn jersey and Thomas obliged, hoping for a gift in return.

"I wanted that jewelry," Thomas said of Mayweather"s glitzy chains and wristwear. "I didn"t want the jacket. That"s too small for me. i wanted that jewelry."

thomas made 7 of 12 shot attempts in the fourth quarter, including three 3-pointers. TD Garden serenaded him with now-familiar "MVP" chants as he attempted free throws with 72 seconds to play.

After hitting a pull-up 3-pointer in transition in a one-point game with about seven minutes to go, Thomas pointed at his wrist while walking back up the court, whipping the Garden into a lather by suggesting the fourth quarter is his time.

"They know what time it is," Thomas said. "Yeah, I thought about [that celebration]."

With his 20-point, fourth-quarter output, Thomas overtook Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook as the NBA"s leading fourth-quarter scorer this season. Thomas is now averaging 9.8 points per game in the fourth quarter compared with Westbrook"s 9.6. No other player is averaging more than 7.8 points per game in the fourth this season.

Russell Westbrook put up 24 points, 13 rebounds and 12 assists for his 18th triple-double of the season.

Triple-double comes at critical time Westbrook triple-double tracker: No. 18 With Mayweather on hand, Thomas delivers knockout for Celtics Knicks stunned, Melo deflated in loss Blazers beat Cavs as blizzard slows travel

"Not to sound cocky, I just feel [these fourth-quarter outbursts are] normal," Thomas said. "Honestly, I work on all those shots that I shoot, and when Im out there, I know the fourth quarter is the time for me to be more aggressive. My teammates look for me to be that, and I just go out there without a care in the world."

Thomas hinted he might have had some extra motivation after Washington"s John Wall earned the Eastern Conference"s Player of the Month honor in December -- even though Thomas averaged better than 30 points per game in the month.

Wall finished Wednesday"s game with 9 points, 10 assists and 7 rebounds over 39 minutes.

"I"m aware of everything," Thomas said. "You can put it how you want to. I see everything."

So did it mean more to have a big night against Wall?

"Yeah, because he"s a h**l of a player. An All-Star-level player," Thomas said. "That"s the franchise of that team, and we did a good job. Not just whoever guarded him, but as a team, collectively, we did a good job of making it tough for him. That"s what we have to do to beat good teams like that."

Thomas later referenced a Bleacher Report article that ranked him 11th among all NBA point guards.

"Everything motivates me," Thomas said. "Did you see that Bleacher Report thing that came out? It keeps going. It keeps going, so I think them and everybody else.

"They always send it to me. It"s always on Twitter. So somehow it gets back to me, and I just shake my head."

Thomas said he was hoping to catch up with Mayweather again after Wednesday"s game. Asked if he thought Mayweather would fight MMA star Conor McGregor, Thomas said he thinks it"s unlikely but offered a prediction.

"Probably not," Thomas said. "But if he does, he"s going to win. I know that."

YouTuber Sam Pepper admits his "social experiment" was a "bulls**t story"

BURIED ALIVE FOR 24 HOURS CHALLENGE (6 FOOT DEEP IN A COFFIN)

Sam Pepper is asking his fans for a second chance.

After purging his entire social media presence this week, Pepper returned today with a blurry, 20-minute video in which he says h**l be real, honest, and 100 percent himself. In it, he explains that he eventually filled his prank channel with completely faked videos in an attempt to keep himself relevant with the exploding scene of YouTube pranksters.

What I wasnt thinking this whole time is if I have to fake a video, then that means its too crazy for me to do for real, said Pepper. He said this includes thebutt-pinching video which started the public outcry against Pepper.

Everything moves with a trend, Pepper says. You dont wear clothes that were in fashion three years ago; you wear current things. Thats the same with my YouTube channel. I wanted to get views; i wanted to get money. its my job.

pepper said he followed those trends, and decided to make up what he called a bullshit story about him doing a social experiment. He also denies the rape allegations against him and explains the logic that led him to doing the murder prank that put him back into the spotlight in the fall, emphasizing that the video was also a fake and an attempt to get views.

Im putting forward the wrong image of myself. Im putting forward a character Ive created that doesnt give a f**k, said Pepper. Im not thinking about that; Im thinking about the views. Its stupid.

Pepper also called in to YouTube channel DramaAlert to elaborate in an additional 17-minute clip. DramaAlert host Daniel Keem said he researched the rapeallegations against Pepper with the LAPD and found there was no proof in the claims. Keem previously published videos supportive of Pepper.

Response to Peppers news is mixed on social media, with some coming out in support of him and calling for the community to give him a second chance, while others aren"t so forgiving.

In the end of the video on his channel, Pepper asks his 2.3 million viewers for a second chance.

Ill prove to you that I can make content that represents me as a person, he said, claiming that h**l only be repopulating his channel with videos that make him proud.

Ive been an idiot, he says. I want to change my content. Honestly from the depths of my heart, I want to do this as my job but I want to do this right.

American Apparel Sells IP, Wholesale Inventory For $103M

American Apparel"s 12 MOST Controversial Ads!
Law360, Wilmington (January 12, 2017, 6:13 PM EST) -- Bankrupt clothing maker and retailer American Apparel received court approval Thursday in Delaware for a $103 million sale of its worldwide intellectual property rights and its wholesale inventory to a stalking horse bidder.During a hearing in Wilmington, American Apparel attorney Carl Black of Jones Day LLP said that Gildan Activewear emerged from an auction as the top bidder, having upped their offer by more than $20 million at the Jan. 9 auction. The company also sold two leases for its manufacturing facilities back to landlords for $440,000.

Im pleased to report we had a successful sales process, Black said. We had bidders come forward and we managed to get a pretty substantial increase over the stalking horse price.

Other offers came in for the companys remaining assets as well as bids from liquidators hoping to run going-out-of-business sales at American Apparels retail outlets, but they did not come to pass. Black said the liquidating bids were lower than what the company felt it could achieve by running its own store closing sales. Bids for the companys equipment faded after Gildans successful bid included some of the machinery located at its manufacturing facilities.

The stalking horse bid approved by the court earlier in the case was for $66 million with an agreement in principle that Gildan would also buy american apparels wholesale inventory and commit to purchase orders for other inventory. At the end of the auction, Gildan had offered $86 million for the IP rights and wholesale inventory and pledged to make $16 million in purchase orders for additional inventory.

Black said that now that the sale has been approved, the company will be moving quickly to file a Chapter 11 plan and get it approved by the court. To that end, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Brendan L. Shannon gave his approval to a settlement of issues lingering from the companys previous Chapter 11 case that threatened to derail its current restructuring effort.

Erin Brady of Jones Day presented the settlement between the company, its unsecured creditors, the committee off lead lenders financing the current case and the litigation trustee appointed under its previous case. Under the terms of the settlement, the company will segregate $2.5 million in three escrows for the benefit of its creditors and the litigation trustee. In exchange, the creditors committee will release any challenge claims it could have brought against the lenders committee and the litigation trustee will drop his motion to dismiss the current case.

Brady said the resolution to those issues will help the case move forward on a much more rapid basis as the sides had been gearing up to go to war when the bankruptcy petitions were filed.

We came to a settlement really early in the case that creates a framework for resolving these cases in an orderly fashion, Brady said.

The resolution will also see any opposition to the companys use of cash collateral dropped so that American Apparel can continue funding its operations through the pendency of the case.

American Apparel had filed for court protection barely a year after the court confirmed a Chapter 11 plan from its previous bankruptcy case, saying its turnaround efforts were unsuccessful.

This time, the company listed about $215 million in debt, much of it resulting from its previous DIP financing package and related exit facilities.

American Apparel is represented by Scott J. Greenberg, Erin N. Brady and Michael J. Cohen of Jones Day, and Laura Davis Jones, James E. O"Neill and Joseph M. Mulvihill of Pachulski Stang Ziehl & Jones LLP.

The committee is represented by Justin R. Alberto, Evan T. Miller and Gregory J. Flasser of Bayard PA, and Cathy Hershcopf, Seth Van Aalten and Michael Klein of Cooley LLP.

The litigation trustee is represented by Richard M. Beck and Domenic E. Pacitti of Klehr Harrison Harvey Branzburg LLP, and David Posner and Gianfranco Finizio of Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP.

The case is In re: American Apparel LLC, et al., case number 1:16-bk-12551, in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

Lord Snowdon, husband of Britain"s late Princess Margaret, ...

Princess Margaret Radio interview

(Adds background)

LONDON, Jan 13 (Reuters) - Lord Snowdon, the photographer former husband of Queen Elizabeth"s late younger sister Princess Margaret has died aged 86, Buckingham Palace confirmed on Friday.

"The queen has been informed," a palace spokeswoman said.

A family spokesman said Snowdon, who was born Antony Armstrong-Jones, had died peacefully at home.

Snowdon had a long and successful career as a society photographer and married margaret at westminster abbey in 1960. They had two children but he had difficulty in adjusting from his previous bohemian lifestyle to the restrictions of public life.

The couple divorced in a glare of publicity in 1978, the first such royal split since the days of Henry VIII four centuries earlier.

A month later Snowdon married divorcee Lucy Lindsay-Hogg, a television researcher.

Snowdon remained on good terms with his former wife and royal in-laws, taking many photographs for Buckingham Palace, but friends said he became a much happier man with the freedom to go where he pleased and say what he thought.

He once said of his talents behind the lens: "One only became a photographer because one drew badly." (Reporting by Michael Holden; editing by Stephen Addison)
