Summer vacation is coming to an end. At least for Dipper and Mabel Pines.

The last episode of "Gravity Falls," Disney"s animated series about the 12-year-old twins" paranormal adventures while spending their summer at their great uncle (or "Grunkle") Stan"s Mystery Shack, is airing Feb. 15.

The episode, titled "Weirdmageddon 3: Take Back the Falls," will see the final confrontation between Bill (the triangular dream demon bent on ruling all reality and existence) and the Pines family.

In advance of the finale, Hero Complex readers are getting an exclusive look at a behind-the-scenes "Gravity Falls" featurette with show creator Alex Hirsch, Jason Ritter (voice of Dipper) and Kristen Schaal (voice of Mabel) discussing the series and the last episode.

"I think it"s satisfying and exciting and everything that the last two seasons have been building up towards is there," says Schaal on the finale.

"With the finale episode of "Gravity Falls" our job as storytellers is to finish all the things we"ve started," says Hirsch. "I do feel like this finale shows how we always imagined our characters to reach their conclusion so hopefully fans feel the same way." Watch the full featurette above.

Created by Hirsch, "Gravity Falls" premiered in June 2012 and since then fans have watched Dipper and Mabel face gnomes, ghosts, a possessive girlfriend sim, the Love G*d and even tiny golf ball-like humanoids (called "Lilliputtians" -- get it?) at the local mini-golf course with the aid of the mysterious journal. They"ve also finally learned the identity of "the Author" of said journal, and discovered that their Grunkle Stan was not exactly what he seemed.

For those of you who are looking to catch up on "Gravity Falls" before the last episode, you"re in luck. Disney XD is kicking off a 68-hour marathon of the show starting Friday.
