Heathers (1989) Christian Slater, Winona Ryder - Highlights
Mr. Robot star Christian Slater won the Golden Globe Award for supporting actor in a series or TV movie with his performance as a mysterious hacktivist leader in the USA techno-thriller.
Accepting the award, Slater thanked series creator Sam Esmail, for writing such a wonderful character; his wife, for making me the happiest man alive; and Hollywood itself, for letting me do what I love to do for the last four decades.

Lost in the excitement, Slater forgot to thank his No. 1 costar, though he made up for it backstage. Let me first just say, Im phenomenally grateful to Rami Malek, he said. Its almost like hes my wife. I was thinking so much about doing that thing where I forgot to thank my wife that I forgot to thank the greatest acting partner that Ive worked with in my entire life. He did such an amazing job. I love Rami Malek and I cant wait to get back to work with him.
Malek, who was nominated for lead actor Sunday but lost to Jon Hamm, returned Slaters compliment. I just saw him right now and I said, You dont have to say anything to me, Malek said backstage. Every second I get to work with him, I get to work with someone who gives me strength anyway. I look at him and he looks at me as an equal. He doesnt have to say anything. I admire him and thats the end of that.
Portraying the shadowy title character of Mr. Robot, Slater beat out Tobias Menzies as a sadistic redcoat captain in Outlander, Alan c*****g as a Machiavellian campaign manager in The Good Wife, Damian Lewis as a tempestuous Tudor king in Wolf Hall, and Ben Mendelsohn as the black sheep of a prominent Florida family in Bloodline.
The Globe is Slaters first, on his first nomination.
Backstage, Slater also shared some advice hes learned working on the hacker drama: Its very smart to change your password as often as possible.
Taraji P. Henson Wins "Best Actress in a Television Series - Drama" | Golden Globe 2016
Taraji P. Henson was not impressed when she had her Stella McCartney gown stepped on for a second time at the Golden Globes on Sunday evening.
The actress was picking up the award for best actress in a TV drama for Empire when her long white dress got caught under someone"s shoes - just minutes after her co-star Terrence Howard had done the same thing.
The 45-year-old couldn"t hide her dismay when she yanked on the train of her dress on her way to the podium before her acceptance speech.

Whoops! Taraji P. Henson looked shocked as the train of her long white Stella McCartney gown got stepped on for a second time as she accepted her first Golden Globe award
Once she"d gathered up the fabric out of harm"s way, the actress channeled her onscreen alter ego Cookie as she addressed the banquet hall - and refused to be rushed.
She first announced "Cookies for every tonight! My treat.
"I mean who knew that playing an ex con would take me all around the globe? It just goes to show... it was Cookie who spent 17 years in jail for selling crack!"

Not again! A gent on the stage behind her appeared to be the culprit this time around as the 45-year-old actress was pulled back by her train getting caught
No way! The actress couldn"t believe it was happening again during her big moment
Taraji then refused to cut her speech short: ""Please wrap!" Wait a minute. I waited 20 years for this. My fans been praying for this. You gotta give me time.
"Thank you for believing in me! My beautiful boys who play my sons. I am taking this home for the entire Empire. Terrence Howard I am nothing without you. Cookie is nothing without Lucious."
Earlier in the night Taraji had her gown stepped on by her Empire co-star Howard when they presented an award together.
As the 46-year-old actor accidentally stepped on her full-length frock she made sure to exaggerate her reaction for the crowd.
Disbelief! Taraji got all diva on the offender giving him an incredulous look as Kate Bosworth and Sophia Bush stood smiling behind the actress

Taraji scintillated in the strapless gown which highlighted a bit of cleavage and showcased her feminine curves.
The Oscar-nominated actress accessorized her ensemble with vintage diamond jeweled drop earrings and strappy heels.

It was announced last month by TMZthat transgender model Amiyah Scott has been cast as the young Loretha "Cookie" Lyon.
Scott was set as a cast member in this season of Bravo"s Real Housewives of Atlanta but reportedly quit after only a month of filming.
Amiyah was allegedly fed up with the way producers were trying to "sexualize" her by pushing her to wear lingerie and play the part of the "vixen," according to the news site.
The actress was approached by Empire creator Daniels in August to read for the show, after she created buzz around the reality show.

Cristiano Ronaldo Say Lionel Messi Will Win Ballon D"or 2016
The Arsenal boss believes it is not logical for football to award prizes to individuals but admits he would like to see his midfielder be named the best for 2016
Arsene Wenger admits he would like to see Mesut Ozil win the Ballon dOr next year but feels individual awards in football are not logical.
The Arsenal boss believes Lionel Messi should win the award for 2015 following his stellar year with Barcelona, although Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar are also in the running.
Wenger has previously criticised the award, insisting that a player could damage his career by focusing on individual prizes, and reiterated his stance ahead of the 2015 ceremony.
Asked if Ozil could win the award next year, Wenger replied: I wish, as I told you I am not a big fan of that [award].
"What is important is we are a team sport, and its not logical to me to just encourage individual effort.
"We live already in a society where its all about individualism. Coming from a team sport going to that as well is to me a little bit contradictory to what is the route of our sport."
LIVE from David Bowie’s Brixton mural as fans pay tribute
Bowie passed away in his home on Sunday after an 18-month battle with cancer, his agent confirmed to CNN.
"David Bowie died peacefully today surrounded by his family after a courageous 18 month battle with cancer. While many of you will share in this loss, we ask that you respect the family"s privacy during their time of grief," said a statement posted on his official social media accounts.
"David Bowie was one of my most important inspirations, so fearless, so creative, he gave us magic for a lifetime," wrote Kanye West on Twitter.
The star will also be remembered fo his contribution to history.
"I wish he could have stayed on earth longer. RIP," wrote author J.K. Rowling.
Comedian Ricky Gervais, fresh from hosting the Golden Globes on Sunday night, said that David Bowie was a "hero" of his.
"My condolences to the family of The Legendary artist David Bowie may he he rest in peace," posted Whoopi Goldberg on Instagram.
Britain"s Prime Minister, David Cameron, said Bowie provided the soundtrack to the lives of his generation.
Rocker Gene Simmons said that Bowie would be "sorely missed."
Actor Will Arnett said that Bowie was "the greatest."
Tim Peake, the first British European Space Agency astronaut to arrive at the International Space Station, said that Bowie"s music "was an inspiration to many." One of the late musician"s most famous songs, "Space Oddity", chronicles the launch of fictional astronaut Major Tom.
Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield is famous for performing Bowie"s "Space Oddity" while floating around the space station. And his tribute was spot on.
The European Space Agency"s Rosetta probe also made it its mission to commemorate the loss.
Even one of the world"s busiest airports expressed their gratitude.
The Ritzy cinema in Brixton in the south of London where Bowie was born felt there was only one announcement worth making, bringing the legend back home.

Alicia Vikander is an up and coming star you should watch out for.

The name Alicia Vikander is suddenly all over the entertainment news, for her latest Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress, for playing the part of Gerda Wegener in The Danish Girl.
This is not the first time she has been nominated for the prestigious award, the actress also picked up a nomination last year for playing the part of Al in Ex Machina.
Kate Winslet won the award in the category of Best Supporting Actress, but the nomination has been a great start for Vikander, bringing her to our notice. Vikander is also dating Michael Fassbender. This starlet is definitely one to watch out for and Enstars is here to help you get to know her better.
Here are five facts you probably didn"t know about the Swedish actress:
Acting Runs in the BloodVikander is not the first in her family to have been bitten by the acting bug. Her mother, Maria Fahl Vikander, is a stage actress, although she has mostly worked in Swedish theater.
Vikander Has Got the Right MovesVikander has training in ballet, which must have greatly contributed to her physical presence on screen. This skill also got her jobs in musicals at the Gothenburg Opera, like The Sound of Music and Les Miserables.
This Isn"t Her First BreakAlthough Ex Machina and The Danish Girl have brought great attention to Vikander in Hollywood, the actress earned her first laurels with her big-screen debut, Pure (2009), for which she won the Rising Star Award at the Stockholm Film Festival and also got special honor at the Berlin Film Festival that year.
She"s No Stranger to Awards SeasonsVikander seems to have been on some kind of winning streak ever since, her next project The Royal Affair (2012) for which she painstakingly learned Dutch also picked up a nomination for Best Foreign Language Film at the 2013 Academy Awards.
She"s Got More Upcoming ProjectsWe will be seeing a lot more of Vikander in the near future. She is playing the female lead in TulipFever (2016) and The Light Between Oceans (2016) in which she will co-star with Fassbender.
