Prelude: The Making of A Game of Honor - Full Episode - Army Navy Football - SHOWTIME
Army linebacker Andrew King is seemingly unflappable, until you start talking about what its really like to play in the Army-Navy game.
Thats when Kings eyes light up a little bit. He remembers the first time he experienced it, in 2013. h**l play in his final game in that rivalry on Saturday, at MT&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore.

He can sumup perfectly what its like to see the pageantry of that game unfold as a player.
"It"s a different atmosphere, King told Sporting News. Your whole student section and student body is there. The Army fans are all there. You can feel the presence of people overseas just watching the game at 4 a.m. You know they are rooting for you.
"It"s a different feeling, he added. The crowd is so loud it"s silent. It"s one of those games."
King won the Defender of the Nation Award, presented to him by the Charlotte Touchdown Club in Charlotte, N.C., on Monday. The award honors a player from one of the nations military academies, based on leadership on and off the field. King attended the awards ceremony and left an impression on Touchdown Club member Greg Mercer, whose father was a World War II veteran. Talking with King conjured up those memories of watching Army-Navy every year with his dad.

Andrew is the total package, Mercer said. Hes great in the classroom and hes tremendous athletically on defense. Hes such a fine example of a great young man, and it makes you feel real good thats the caliber of young men and women that are in our military academies today.
King has 88 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss and five sacks for Army this season. He spent Monday sitting with the finalists for the Bronko Nagurski Award, which went to Alabamas Jonathan Allen. King, however, stood out in his full military uniform, and with good reason.
"Just receiving the Defender of the Nation is a great honor, King said. I"m truly humbled to represent the Military Academy, my family and my friends back home and the army in general. . . . I"m honored in every aspect and trying to lead others to do the same thing."
King has helped lead the Black Knights to a 6-5 record and a postseason berth, but the priority this week is that matchup with Navy. King knew this was the 117th meeting without hesitation.
"It means the world, King said. You have a bunch of guys on both sides just playing for the love of football. Most of us are going to go and out and serve our country after with a five-year commitment. That time when we"re battling each other, and we"re fighting to the end."

Army also is trying to snap a 14-game losing streak to the Midshipmen. The Black Knights have inched a little closer each of the last three seasons and fell short 21-17 in 2015. King doesnt offer any bold predictions, but he simply says what a win would do for Army.
Its the same thing hes doing for this country.
"It definitely would mean a lot for this program, King said. It would leave us in the right direction."
Kirk Douglas 100th birthday at MPTF 95th anniversary
Renowned ladies man Kirk Douglas wasnt prepared to dish on his sexual exploits during his appearance on the d**k Cavett show in 1971 to hawk his latest movie, A Gunfight.
But Cavett, a sly night-show host, knew viewers werent interested in Douglas new Western. They wanted to know if the very married hunk was bedding all those gorgeous Hollywood actresses.
Was he fooling around with Faye Dunaway on the set of The Arrangement? What about Kim Novak?
Cavett told him that ABC had compiled a film of all the incredible number of women that have passed through your hands and he directed the actor to watch a series of clips of himself romancing co-stars Lana Turner in The Bad and the Beautiful, Jean Simmons in Spartacus, Ava Gardner in Seven Days in May and, of course, Dunaway.

(Alfred) Hitchcock said in an interview once that its very hard for the romance on screen not to carry over into the private lives of the actors, Cavett said coyly. Have you found this true?
Douglas thumped in anger, An actor is supposed to immerse himself in the role!
At the time, Douglas who turns 100 years old on Friday was the biggest star on the planet, with a range that blew away audiences, whether he was wielding a sword against the Romans as Spartacus or crying in anguish as Vincent van Gogh in l**t for Life.
He didnt have to answer to Cavett or anyone, for that matter.
It would be another two decades before the man who still commands a standing ovation when he enters a room would finally admit to his infidelities.
In a titillating autobiography written when he was 71, Douglas admitted that hed not only cheated on his first wife, Diana Dill with whom he had two sons, including mega-star Michael Douglas but he also messed around on his current wife, Anne Bydens, who gave him another two sons.
Before the marriages, and in between, the man born Issur Danielovitch to a poor Jewish family in Amsterdam, NY, was unquenchable.
Im a sonofabitch, plain and simple, he admitted in his 1988 autobiography, The Ragmans Son.
Douglas opened his little black book and ticked off some of the greatest names to grace the silver screen.
The actor kissed and told on Crawford, Linda Darnell, Marlene Dietrich, Rita Hayworth, Evelyn Keyes, Marilyn Maxwell, Patricia Neal, Ann Sothern and Gene Tierney.

As I look back, I realize that somehow I was attracted to women who were neurotic, he said.
It began with his English teacher, a Mrs. Livingston, who seduced him when he was 14, he said.
A few years later as he struggled to become an actor, he enrolled at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and his eyes fell on a sultry blond woman named Betty Bacall.
Douglas said Bacall, who would later change her first name to Lauren, teased the impoverished student about the shabby, oversize overcoat he wore so she got him a new one.
I was always touched by that act, wrote Douglas. And how did I repay her? One warm spring evening on a rooftop in Greenwich Village I tried to seduce her. Unsuccessfully. As far as Im concerned, Lauren Bacall can do no wrong.
The thrice-Oscar-nominated actor was no gentleman, however, when he tucked into a tale about the night he spent with Mildred Pierce actress Joan Crawford, who would also later be trashed by her adopted daughter, Christina Crawford, in her book, Mommie Dearest.
He went out with Crawford just once, he said and never called her again.
Crawford played an innocent flirt throughout their dinner, he said. But the instant the front door of her Hollywood mansion closed behind them, she tore off her dress, flung it aside and grappled Douglas to the foyer floor.
Douglas said Crawfords move was too aggressive to be exciting, and when they were doing the deed, he noticed her bad breath.
Afterward, Crawford, a famous dirt-a-phobe, took him on a tour of the multi-level home, where Douglas noticed how immaculate it was.

She took me upstairs and proudly showed me the two children how they were strapped so tightly to their beds, how she diapered them so efficiently. It was so professional, clinical, lacking in warmth, like the s*x we had just had.
She would tell him, Men go to bed with Gilda [her famous 1946 title role], but they wake up with me. Douglas wrote, I felt something deep within her that I couldnt help loneliness, sadness something that would pull me down; I had to get away.
To him, Hayworth was a fantasy created by Hollywood, like Marilyn Monroe. On the screen, Douglas said, Monroe was the sexiest woman in the world. In real life she was blah. And always late.
One of his favorite conquests was Gene Tierney, known for her icy, Oscar-nominated sociopath performance in Leave Her to Heaven.
Douglas dished about some of Tierneys odd habits including insisting that he visit her by climbing into the window of her Hollywood home and mount her when she wasnt expecting it.
Maybe it was an aphrodisiac, Douglas wrote. I didnt question it. Mine was not to question why; mine was just to get through that window.
Then there was the affair with Patricia Neal.
In her own memoir, the Oscar-winning actress wrote of the love affair she had with married leading man Gary Cooper.
When it came to s*x, Douglas admits he looked at it as if he were on a big game safari in Africa.
But Douglas rounded out the picture: Neal was having an affair with him at the same time.
Douglas said Neal was in love with Cooper and would cry during their trysts because she was being unfaithful to the High Noon actor.
Sexy brunette Ava Gardners beauty took his breath away.
Douglas remembered staying at a hotel one night when he was awakened by a knocking. He opened the door to find the distraught actress.
Although Douglas had dated her a few times and found her a wonderful country girl who was cursed by being too beautiful, now she scared him because she was dating the tumultuous Frank Sinatra.
They must have had one of their usual explosions and she rushed out, wrote Douglas. It was about 2 oclock in the morning.

She didnt know where to go and ended up at my door. . . . She was quite upset and we chatted for about 10 minutes. She calmed down. She sighed, and got up. I walked her to the door, kissed her on the cheek and she left. No mention was ever made of her nocturnal visit.

I looked at something and BANG! I had total control. I enjoyed [killing]; the Masai gave me a shield and a spear and called me Killer Douglas.

Gosling was supposed to star in Peter Jacksons adaptation ofThe Lovely Bones, but he was fired from the film just as production was about to begin after he showed up to set 60 pounds heavier than when he was cast. gosling later explainedthat he thought his character should be a heavier guy, so he drank melted ice cream to pack on more weight. Unfortunately, Gosling never shared his interpretation with Jackson, who did not agree and replaced his star with Mark Wahlberg.

Private photos of 19-year-old Maisie Williams, who plays the role of Arya Stark in the top rating fantasy drama television series "Game Of Thrones", have been leaked to Reddit, crafting rumors all over the internet. One of the photos shows a t*****s Williams on top of a rock alongside two friends in skimpy clothing.
According to maisie williams" rep, who confirmed with Page Six that the photographs were authentic, the images were shared from the actress" social media account. He laid emphasis on the notion that the images were not explicit, and that they only showed photos of Williams and her close friends at a spa during their Japan trip.
The British actress recently went to Japan to campaign against dolphins used in showsand the hunting of other aquatic animals. She is the latest celebrity to join the cause to protect dolphins.
Maisie Williams" rep also noted that the images were still adhering to the standards of Facebook regarding the prohibition of nudity in photos, as they were not revealing much of the actress" physique. He, however, did not make a comment on how the photos leaked to Reddit, or whether Williams would take any legal action for the incident.
The n**e photo-leaking case of the Maisie Williams was immediately compared to other female victims of hacking, including "The Avengers" star Scarlett Johannson in 2011 and "Hunger Games" lead Jennifer Lawrence in 2014, as recalled by E! News. The remarkable words of Johannson were highlighted, saying "Just because you"re in the spotlight or just because you"re an actor or make films doesn"t mean you"re not entitled to your own personal privacy."
Lawrence was also quoted with her words "It is a s*x crime. It is a sexual violation. It"s disgusting.", who subsequently became an advocate of both male and female victim of such harassment.
TORONTO -- Anthony Pettis missed weight Friday for his interim featherweight championship fight against Max Holloway.
Pettis (19-5) was 148 pounds at the official weigh-in, exceeding the allowed weight of 145. Holloway (16-3) came in right at 145 pounds.
The bout will still headline UFC 206 on Saturday at Air Canada centre, but ufc president dana white told ESPN that it is now an interim title fight for Holloway only. If Pettis wins, he won"t be an interim champion.
Pettis will forfeit 20 percent of his purse, which is standard.
UFC is scheduled to host a ceremonial weigh-in Friday afternoon at Air Canada Centre, during which every fighter at UFC 206 will reappear on a scale. That weigh-in is for entertainment purposes, meaning Pettis does not have another opportunity to make weight.
UFC created the interim title fight last month, when the UFC 206 pay-per-view lost its original main event between light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier and Anthony Johnson. Cormier withdrew from the bout because of an injury.
In addition to turning the Pettis-Holloway fight into an interim title bout, UFC stripped former champion Conor McGregor (21-3) of the official featherweight title and promoted then-interim champion Jose Aldo to the division"s official titleholder.

Maisie williams, who plays arya stark ongame of Thrones, recently becamethe latest celebrity to have hadprivatephotos stolen anddistributed without her permission.
Vacation pics showing the 19-year-old actress sitting t*****s on a rock and undressing with a group of friends near an oceanwere posted on herprivate social media account and reposted on public websites like Reddit. Her rep confirmed the photos were authentic.
"The images online were shared from Maisie"s personal social media account," the rep told Page SixWednesday. "The images are not explicit in nature, but pictures of Maisie and close friends at a spa at a recent visit in Japan."
Williams have recently traveled to the country to protest the hunting of dolphins and the usage of them in stage shows.
Many female celebs have had private photos leaked but they were mostly victims of hacking, carried out via stolen passwords.
In October, a manreceived an 18-year prison sentence for hacking private accounts of many female celebs, which led to the online release of n**e and other photos. In 2012, anotherhacker was sentenced to 10 years in prison for the same reason. Both cases involved FBI investigations.
"I was just so afraid," Jennifer Lawrence, a past celebrity hacking victim, told Vanity Fair in 2014. "I didn"t know how this would affect my career."
"It is not a scandal," she added. "It is a s*x crime. It is a sexual violation. It"s disgusting."
Scarlett Johansson, who has also had racy photos stolen and leaked, told CNN in 2011, "Just because you"re in the spotlight or just because you"re an actor or make films doesn"t mean you"re not entitled to your own personal privacy. No matter what the context, when that is sieged in some way it feels unjust, it feels wrong."
