The mannequin challenge that warmed its way to everyone"s social media feeds was front and center during Hairspray Live! yep, even though the show took place in the 1960s and the viral video concept was one of the biggest trends of 2016.
When Maddie Baillio who plays the show"s lead Tracy Turnblad sang "i can hear the bells," her costar garrett Clayton as Link Larkin held his pose like a champ. Seriously, it was uncanny Garrett held his first look, which froze right after he and Tracy ran into each other, for well over a minute, with the camera panning over him for nearly the entire time.
This is the cast"s second mannequin challenge their initial two-minute take on the challenge gave fans a behind-the-scenes look of what it"s really like to be on set. In terms of fans" reviews of the production, this moment frozen in time has been their favorite so far. Brace yourself for major side-by-side mannequin and Hairspray hashtags to flood your feeds.
